Every time I visit, the staff has been very helpful. When I am wandering around, someone always approaches me to see if I need any help. There is so much merchandise, it's great to have staff to assist the customers in finding the items on their list. I have bought materials for watercolor, drawing, and journaling classes. They even sell skeins of yarn that I've bought for my crochet class! Blick offers a student discount. This past weekend, I took advantage of their Fall sale and online coupon. Wow haven't been here for an awful long time. I entered into a nice clean store and asked a very helpful lady of the department where I could find materials that are Styrofoam and paints and glitter glue... she walked me over and I found the specific items on my list. Nice store and I kind of meandered on the way back to the front checkout counter. A young lady helped with the transaction but I needed a Michaels bag.. a paper shopping bag makes it easy to carry. She explained the return policy. I went home happy. Today I went back to Michael's to return some of the unused material and got good value credited back to the CC. It was quick and easy. I liked the store with its valuable return policy. Thanks to the staff at Michael's we now have a completed school project.

Most of the vendors are selling knick-knacks rather than food, which wasn't what I expected from a night market-inspired space -- more food stall or hot bar please. The area is sub-divided into sections that seem to try to create a little of everything -- there are spaces for gatherings, worship, paintings and a small gift shop. Food options are limited to just a couple of snack bars, which don't really compare to as much options like 99 Ranch. There is also offering to learn mahjong! One bright spot, though, is the wishing tree, which is a very welcoming and thoughtful touch. Too bad, the paper was out.
