I got in contact with a service that had a flatbed truck. After seeing the photos, they said they were afraid that just pulling it out could damage the underside of the car and I needed someone with a wrecker. Did you ever have that awful feeling that you were really stuck somewhere, didn't know where to turn, it was a weekend and you'd probably be stranded until Monday? After some phone calls, tho, a very friendly lady said they could help me and to send photos. She called back shortly saying the truck they needed was on another job but they would be there later that night. And they were. Chris and Jennifer worked in the chilly dark, in the water, with the truck lights on the scene, setting up multiple attachment points, pulling out a bit, resetting the attachment points, and repeat. It took close to an hour and they got the car out with no damage. If you ever need emergency help in central-northern Columbia County, they're the go-to people.

NEVER. USE. THIS. COMPANY...EVER…read more I needed a tow and called my roadside assistance at 430p to help. Perlman's is contracted through them and was dispatched to assist. I was told it was going to be a two hour wait even though they are contracted only for an hour wait. Fine. Two hours pass and no one showed up. I called my road side assistance and when they contacted Perlman's, Perlman's said they canceled the tow because their truck broke down. A towing company only has one truck?!? No one ever called to say the tow was canceled. So now I have to wait ANOTHER hour for a different tow company to come get my car. It is now past 7pm and I have an infant with me. Perlman's was EXTREMELY unprofessional in this situation as they never contacted ANYONE to let them know they can not do the tow. If they had, things would have moved a bit faster and I would have made it home earlier with the baby. This isn't the first run in I had with this company. There was another time, months ago, where again I needed a tow. Again it was a two hour wait. Again, they never showed. They said they were busy and couldn't make it to me. I again had to get another company to do the tow. I will never give business to this disgrace of a company.

The tow driver was very respectful when he got to our house which was 30 miles away. The driveway has a short incline. He showed concern about not damaging our driveway.
