D'Antii altered my wedding dress for Moab, adding breast cups, a slit, a bustle, and shortened the straps a little. When I first tried on the dress, she immediately knew what to do. When I told her I wanted a slit, she pinned it conservatively so she wouldn't make it too high, then had me come back to try it out and we decided to make the slit go higher. She also educated me on the different bustle types and gave me great recommendations for everything. It was all done by the 3rd visit and the turn-around times were only days apart! The pricing was totally reasonable too. I was really nervous about finding someone I could trust with a very special task and I highly recommend. She's knowledgeable, talented, and sweet! After I checked the dress off my list, it stayed in the garment bag and I didn't look at it for a while until 2 weeks before the wedding and noticed it looked super dirty, so I was calling dry cleaners to see how fast they could clean a wedding dress and stressing out, but then I finally just used a lint roller...the dress had picked up a lot of fuzzies and some dog hair from being dragged on the floor, but it all came off! I came across D'Antii by accident a few years ago while living downtown. I moved away, and now I drive over 100 miles to D'Antii when I need tailoring; she is THAT good. Diana can tailor a blazer in such a way that it transforms me from a 7 to a 9. My husband thinks Diana's work makes me look so good he tried to make me wear it to bed. lol I have only experienced great personal interactions there. I received so many recommendations to come here for my wedding dress alterations, so as soon as I had my dress, I made an appointment. They rescheduled me once because someone got sick--totally understandable. Then they rescheduled me a second time because the same person was still sick. When my appointment finally rolled around after the second rescheduling, they no-showed. The front door was locked, no one was inside, and they weren't answering my phone calls. I waited for 15 minutes outside the building until I finally gave up and went home. I get that life happens, but this was extremely upsetting and I feel like I can't trust bringing my wedding dress to this place. I'll be taking my dress elsewhere. I brought a bridesmaid dress in recently that was made out of a challenging gauzy material. I didn't want to risk messing up the tailoring so after some Yelping, I settled on Di'Anti. They did a great job! I'm happy that I gave myself a few weeks before the wedding to bring in my dress. They were backed up quite a bit and it was nice to have the peace of mind knowing it would be done in time. I am far from average or typical. My body may even be called "alien." Yet, I am very fastidious, and have latched on to good tailors in New York City, Chicago and Milwaukee. But, I have found butchers calling themselves tailors in Louisville and Cincinnati. Diana knows her stuff, takes her time, and cares about the way you look. Her prices are very reasonable considering, and her skills would demand double the price in major cities. My only problem since finding D'Antii is I am buying too many clothes. I went here and was super easy going about the deadline for my items and this woman told me a day to come back and when I came back it wasn't ready. That was like a week later so should have been done. She gave me a new date. Went back that day. Still wasn't ready. She said I should have come in the evening instead of that morning. Not intuitive but fine so I did it and it still wasn't done I was mind blown! Eventually it was ready but I wasn't very happy although since I live downtown figured I'd go back for another quick request. But nope... looks like she decided to close shop early. Diana is a lovely person from Ukraine. She has mad tailoring skills. She turned a sari from India into A skirt and top with shawl for me. It is so much easier to wear. She used a great quality zipper, made the hooks the way I wanted, she was able to pleat the skirt so it still looks full and lovely. The lining, finishing, was excellent. My skirt was a little bit longer than I wanted and was dragging on the ground I came back and she fixed it for me. I've visited her shop at least 7 times every time there were many other people coming in to have things hemmed patched up. The shop is clean modern looking with lots of mirrors and fitting rooms. The only parking available is in front of the shop which you have to pay for on the street. One time her assistant actually gave me coins since I was going to be there for a few minutes. I highly recommend her as a tailor. She does get very busy and takes great pride in her work so if you have a special project give her the time to give it the proper attention. read more

Impressive tailor. I have wasted money on other tailors and alteration shops in the past with more complex requests. I am glad I found D'Antii. They recently reduced a suit coat from a size 48R to approximately 44R. Many said it couldn't be done, but they did it and it fits beautifully. All for a reasonable price. I also had them reduce the size of six dress shirts by about two full sizes. Again, done beautifully and for a reasonable cost. All in, I spent a few hundred dollars but avoided having to replace some relatively new nice shirts and suit. Add to that, the owner and associates are super nice and will provide you with some sensible and honest feedback about your clothing fit and needs. I don't think I will bother with other tailors in the SLC metro area. read more

Okay, let me start by saying she did a great job on my dress it turned out beautiful. BUT it was a VERY unprofessional experience. I dropped my dress off the beginning of March. I went in for another fitting and nothing had been sewn, I come back a week later and she said "she didn't have me on her book" when I watched her write it down. So I went back a week later, she asked me to give her an additional two weeks because it was a lot of work. All the while complaining about how hard it was and how stressed she was doing it. A BRIDE DOESNT NEED TO HEAR THAT ABOUT HER WEDDING DRESS! Instant panic and stress! Then she calls me and said she can't have it done by the day I was supposed to come in and asked for another week. I said okay, mind you at this point it's May and she's had my dress for two months. so I go in on the new date she asked me to and said it wasnt done, so I had to take off work AGAIN and go back. She kept complaining about how tough it was. Nonetheless I got it back 5 DAYS BEFORE MY WEDDING! Like I said she did beautiful work but the experience was awful and added a bunch of stress.
