I was really hoping to be able to leave a good review. First, the few good things: The delivery people were nice and mostly efficient. When our fridge stopped working, we were able to buy another that same day and have it delivered fast enough that we barely had to toss anything out. The bad: We sent in the refrigerator for repair, as well as an old one in the garage that kept tripping the breaker every time it turned on, hoping to get both fixed, keep the one we purchased, and sell the repaired one from the garage. When we got them back, both had huge mold problems, and the pull out freezer bin has a hard time opening and closing because of all the gunk that is now in the tracks. No one seemed concerned about this so....I guess it is normal to get back something that you put food into coated with black and pink mold? They also lost our handles (which had to be removed to get the fridge out the door) But they found the right ones and brought them over. We get the fridge up to temperature and I turn on the ice maker. The first batch of ice had a screw in it! I hope it wasn't important! And the second returned fridge is still tripping the breaker (they found nothing wrong with it and it worked fine on their system that is meant to deal with a lot of appliances being plugged into it). We also plugged it into the house and it still tripped the breaker. We tried calling to get this taken care of, but the lady wasn't very helpful. read more

This is ONLY ONE of the 4-5 local companies I tried to contact when our fridge suddenly stopped working. Either they couldn't be bothered to answer the phone, or couldn't be LESS interested in helping us. No empathy, no suggestions or recommendations. How is it that there is NO emergency refrigerator repair services available to us here in Lewis County? When our fridge died with no previous warning there was a problem, my husband and I panicked. I would personally consider the refrigerator in every household an "essential appliance" because it preserves ALL of the PERISHABLE food we purchase to feed our families. So, if you are looking for a new career, I would recommend becoming a refrigerator repair company. We would have paid double time for any qualified appliance repair company to come out at any hour to help us troubleshoot the problem. My husband and I discussed the idea of getting into the refrigerator repair business exactly for this reason. Weeks later, the problem was identified in 5 minutes as a failed switch behind the rear cover plate that cost less than $70. IRONIC Of course we can't expect appliance repair companies to have parts in stock for every brand of every appliance on hand so it was going to take a day or two to repair. Our groceries were long since spoiled and thrown away. We had to buy another refrigerator to solve the problem as soon as possible. Our broken but repaired older fridge will go into the garage as a spare. Shaking my head. In the age of purchase and replace versus repair, repurpose, or reuse $2,000 for a new fridge and an old one destined for a land full. Remember when refrigerators used to last 20 years or more? read more

So , where to start ? I brought in a dryer that wasn't working ( drying) fine , they gave me a few suggestion for what I could do at home. Took dryer in gave it a once over, called next to tell me come get it working great . Tom once again retrieved fryer and helped me load. So I just don't get it ? They treated me well as last time , got my dryer working , did all that was asked and were very pleasant to deal with !!!! . So bring your appliances and get great service .... I went in and bought a brand new freezer from them. They didn't know how to use the financing they offer. It took a lot of time to do the transaction. I took it home and never even plugged it in and decided I needed to take it back. So I called them before going there. I was told there are no returns , credit or anything they could do to help me. I will never shop here again, very bad customer service. I guess I should have looked at the reviews before purchasing anything from them. If I were you I would go somewhere else for your needs. I purchased a washer and dryer set a few months ago from DB Cooper appliances. A few months later I was having issues with the buttons not responding when I was starting a load of laundry and it would not spin. I called them and told them the issue. I had the washer filled with towels that were soaking wet. They came out to get my washer and brought me a loaner washer to use while They repaired mine (this was on a Saturday late in the day). This place is very easy to work with and they are very accommodating I would recommend them highly to anybody. I would like to mention at this point the washer was out of warranty so it did cost me a small fee. However during the warranty There was an issue with it they came and got it and stood behind their warranty with no fee read more

I really like this place. I have purchased a used refrigerator from them about 4 years ago and it has been great. We are still using it and it was very reasonably priced. We use in our garage as an extra refrigerator. Their repair service is also great!! The refrigerator in our kitchen stopped working. I thought I was going to have to spend $1000.00 for a new fridge. I called them on a Saturday and they said to bring it in to their shop for a free evaluation. They were able to repair it in less than 2 hours and only charged me $130.00 total for the repair!!. They could of told me that it was not able to be fixed and to try to sell me a new one, but instead they were honest and repaired it, which saved me a lot of money!! They have a lot of really great used appliance and some them are new and sold at a discount. I would recommend them. read more

we got a newer used washer from a guy basically that ripped us off from a face book took it to D.B. to see if they could trouble shoot it they called with a list of parts it needed and had it fixed and back to us less then 24 hours very impressed with their service highly recommend them and will be going to them for any of our next appliances thankyou D.B. My wife and I moved to Centralia a few years ago and we were in the market for a washer and dryer after we purchased our home. After shopping around we decided on an Electrolux set from DB Cooper appliances. We got a good deal because we purchased floor models that had a couple dents in them but function perfectly fine. Recently the dryer started banging violently in our laundry room so we scheduled a time to bring it in and get it checked out and get a quote on what it was going to cost us to get it repaired. We were given a copy of the work order which said that if we didn't pick up the dryer within 2 weeks of completion of repairs it would be "dispsed" of. After the first week of no communication I called to ask for an update on the status of the quote for the dryer and was told that the motor had been replaced and it was ready to be picked up. When I asked what had happened to the quote for costs of potential repairs I was told "we can take the new motor out right now and you can come pick it up." I tried to be polite as possible on the phone as a man speaking to a woman on the but when we went to pick it up my wife was a little more insistent about how we felt we'd been screwed and the same rude woman insisted they would be happy to take the new motor out and we could take the dryer back. I'm pretty sure that clause in the work order about disposel is an attempt to keep your appliances and by dispose of they mean resell being that they do in fact sell used appliances. read more

Bought a used washer and dryer set from this place. 3 weeks after buying it the dryer started loudly squealing and the sensor dry wouldn't work. It has been there for 5 days without any communication from them as to what is going on. Husband went there today to pick up a loner dryer that day begrudgingly agreed to loan us. The dryer they tried to give me was old tiny and dirty. When I called to discuss this with the female owner and tried to politely express my frustration and what could be done to fix this she started screaming at me and hung up on me. I called back again and was immediately hung up on. Now my concern is what are they gonna do to my dryer? Told the woman I would like to just return both and she told me too bad that's not how this works. Would never use this place again or recommend anyone. Will be calling my attorney to see how to get this fixed. The saddest part to me is I prefer to support local small businesses. It'll be one small business that I will never support again. read more

Sold my 93 year old friend a dryer. It isn't working. They refuse to come and repair the machine. They claim that they cannot repair appliances in your home due to COVID-19. What a lame excuse! I do NOT recommend buying appliances at D,.B. Cooper! read more

I have dealt with DB for about five years now. I bought several gas stoves (Merry Christmas to the family with 8 children) that he converted to use propane and a gas dryer as well as several washing machines. The appliances DB sells damaged new - which means cosmetic scratches or blemishes, or used ones traded in somewhere and wound up in his store. Used stuff is used - there was a reason it was traded in, so expect the things that were almost worn out to wear out. DB has parts and loads of experience fixing them. I bought the appliances from DB as about one-third to one-fourth the cost of new. DB's hired help forgot to change the orifice in the oven of one gas stove, so it didn't work. Easy fix, DB gave me the correct orifice and I installed it. This would have been an impossible situation for a modern snowflake cowering in its safe space, there were screws and covers to remove for access and tools needed. But DB offers on site repair too, especially when it is his fault. read more
