We happened to walk by Threve by chance of where we parked and when I walked in, it absolutely took my breath away with how much I connected with their style. It was absolutely GORGEOUS. The brick walls, the modern rustic feel. AHH. And the owners? THE NICEST PEOPLE. The most down to earth, genuinely kind hearted people. It was so refreshing to hear about the items in the store and see how much they loved curating their corner. Yes, some of the pieces are pricey, but that's what you pay for GOOD solid items. It was so worth it. You can buy so many gifts for people in here, stocking stuffers, birthday- anything! We walked away with a beautiful coffee table and dining room table from Hungarian barn wood. Most of the inventory is high end, but we found a few hard to beat bargains. We spent just $31 and walked out with a set of two pretty wooden serving plates, a coral art wall hanging, and three distressed white picture frames. We were thrilled with the quality and value of our purchases. An interesting feature of their pricing policy is that just about everything had three prices, so the longer something stays in stock, the lower the price drops. Customer service is phenomenal. We had a wonderful chat with owner Jeannie Bethel, who was a real joy as she talked about her store, where the inventory comes from, and about Wilmington in general.
