I came here because it looked like she stylist could do the cut I wanted, and she got close but that wasn't the issue for me. I called ahead and asked for pricing, went in and asked for pricing two more times and I didn't get a response. Other reviewers said they paid $45-65 for the same service (shampoo, wash, and blow dry). My hair is quite long so I would understand an extra charge but I was charged $110. If I had known that was the price, I wouldn't have began that service for just a shampoo, cut, and blow dry. My regular salon charges me $50. Not only that but my hair is very damaged. The blow dryer was waaaay too hot and my hair feels so brittle. Also the stylist would keep combing my hair with a rat tail comb while it was wet and ripped through a ton of my hair and caused so much breakage! The comb wouldn't go through and she'd force it! I've never had a stylist cause so much damage. I also I asked for volume and curls with my blow dry and initially it looked very flat, but the curls looked nice. The curls dropped within 2 hours of me leaving the salon. When I blow dry my hair curly, it stays for a few days. I am very disappointed in all the damage that's been done to my hair and I've spent so much time and care growing it out. Will definitely not be back and I definitely do not recommend. read more

I am very please with the service I received her about a week ago. The entire staff always had smiles on their faces, they were very nice and most of all they tell you whats best for your hair and are genuinely out for your best interest. I have naturally curly hair, very tight curls and all Doris did was blow-dry my hair and got it BONE STRAIGHT! Did not need to use a flat-iron she told me how it it's just plain out not good for my hair. I respect her for that. Pros: Came in & got my hair washed, dried and then cut. Before I got under the dyer, Doris, the owner introduced herself which I thought was extremely profession. She gets an A+ for that It's often frustrating to wait and get your hair done and no one speaks to you so I appreciated Doris tremendously.. She did an excellent cut and my hair was excellent for a minimum cost of $45 dollars. The solon offers free Deep Conditioners every Tuesday which is a bonus. Cons: my only personal issue is that I was under the heat a little longer than I felt was needed. I have hot flashes so it made it very hard to sit there, but that's no fault of any except Mother Nature. Even if I didn't live in Norcross, I'd be committed to returning. thank you!! read more

I love this hair salon! I've been looking for a Dominican salon to go to since I moved to Atlanta and this will be it. I have 4b natural hair but she got my hair bone straight. I showed her a picture of what I want, told her I wanted voluminous. Not flat, she glanced at the picture and got it exactly how I wanted it. I was so in love with my hair when I left the shop, I was a very happy customer. Been hair flipping ever since, my hair is still soft and straight 3 days later. Another Dominican salon said it would open at 8:00 am on a Monday and it still had not by the time I left at 8:36 am, so I tried this salon because they open at 8:30 am. Arrived around 8:45 am and it still hadn't opened. Highly unprofessional and extremely disappointing as I have an important engagement this afternoon. So yesterday I decided to get my hair done. I had just come from a track meet and my hair was kinda dry and dirty. I needed somewhere to go cuz my usual place was closed at the time. I came here and I guess it was OK. When I first got there Doris I think came up and was really nice. She decided I needed a deep condition along with my blow out. She told my mom the price(which was 60$). I thought that was a bit overpriced but we decided to stay because of the amazing reviews. The service was done averagely well but it was definitely not worth 60$. I probably won't come here again unless.......yea I won't come back. I will give them points though because even though they close at seven , the stayed until after 7:30 to finish my hair and didn't try and skimp up on the work. That was good I guess. read more

Okay so based off reviews I thought I had found the perfect place to get the best treatment for natural hair. The pictures looked good and the reviews looked good so I decided to give Doris a try. She started off great with a wash and set then followed by a blow out. However the end result was disappointing because my hair came out frizzy, she didn't clip my ends. No flat iron to straighten my thick hair. I specifically asked for a blow out and flat iron not a roller set and blow out. She explained that she had battled breast cancer for 4 years which I'm extremely sorry to hear about and grateful that God blessed her to overcome that however if you're not able to do the same quality of work that you could before the incident then just tell me instead of doing what you want to do to my hair then over charging me. I was highly disappointed and I won't be back. I payed $60 just for my hair to come out looking like I got it done two weeks ago. My boyfriend was mad I wasted time and money not to mention I caught an Uber there so basically all that money was wasted. I will just say go try it yourself apparently she did good on everyone but me. I won't be back. read more
