This continued for over a month with me having to call every week for an update on when it would be done, their answer was always that they were 'just' about to call me and it'll be done within a few days. When I finally got my car back they had left their tools in there and the whole interior was covered in dust/mud. I had to have a panel painted as part of the repair and there was overspray onto my tire and rim that is still there. I regret going here and wished I would've gone somewhere else.

After receiving this offer, I was contacted by the dealership and they confirmed the trade-in value over the phone twice, asking me to come in for an appointment. I drove nearly 50 miles to the dealership. When I arrived, they first let me test drive the new vehicle. But afterward, they suddenly changed the trade-in offer to only $4,000, claiming it was a mistake. I was shocked and extremely disappointed. This was never mentioned before my visit. I lost my time, wasted gas, and felt completely misled. I confirmed the trade-in value with them multiple times before going there. It felt like a bait-and-switch tactic, and it left me feeling frustrated and deceived.

We can't say enough positive about the sales staff we worked with there-- thank you John and Rob Desantis! Our salesperson John was so patient, helpful and on the level. Such an absolute pleasure to work with! We first shopped at all the Honda dealers in the Capital District closer to home for us. All charged a surcharge added to MSRP. We were about to buy elsewhere when we decided to reach out a little further and tried D'Ella in Glens Falls. What a nice and big difference from the others. First we spoke with Rob Desantis who was very personable and helpful. We then came in. We are so very glad we did. Not only did D'Ella not add a surcharge to MSRP John England was absolutely wonderful to work with. Thank you John and thank you Rob!

I was looking for the Salesman who helped me 2 years ago, gone. Another sales person who I trusted now gone. I went to inquire about turning my car in. I had one more year on lease. Not even 10,000 miles on car. I know they're out to make money. When I am giving them a brand new car back I have to pay them big bucks. In this economy & being retired that's a lot of cash. I steered friends to go there. Not so much now. Not happy with this dealership.

On day 2 my check engine light came on and I drove to Garvey Kia which is exactly 57 minutes from my house. For arguments sake let's call it an hour. I arrived to have a service guy named Jeremy meet me. He was the epitome of what customer service should be. His mannerisms and willingness to listen, and explain things clearly were awesome. I'm not sure Garvey knows what they have in this kid. Jeremy was awesome. But alas, they had no appt until the following Tuesday. I left "OK" with it because I understood how the business worked. I came back and they diagnosed the issue. Unfortunately, Jeremy told me they didn't have the part I needed in stock. So I would have to leave and he would call me when the part came in. When I mentioned the total of 4 hours of driving back and forth with still no results, my frustration kicked in a little. When I asked my salesperson if he could maybe help me out with a little gas card he was told by his superior to "get him the hell outta here". I love honest sales people. Bottom line went today, car is fixed, (took an hour long than the 2.5 hours I was quoted. Sales manager Lee understood my point of view. Had a nice gentlemen named Tom take my vehicle to fill my tank (was 44 miles till empty). So in a nut shell. Salesperson Dave was awesome. Service tech Jeremy is a hidden gem they don't know they have, and sales manager lee is a problem solver who seemed to genuinely listen and care. Dave's superior (get him the hell outta here) guy. You're the sole reason you didn't get a 5 star review from me. And everyone there knows who I'm talking about. I don't want to call him out publicly, but he should take a lesson in customer service from the rest of his staff. He may be a superior, but he's certainly no leader

The staff were nice and very earnest when I had asked questions or to make changes to my registration for the Ram 1500 I was getting, which ended up saving me a few thousand on sales tax. They were also very open to lowering the price of the truck I was getting. If you do plan to get a vehicle from this dealership, go in with your research done on the vehicle(s) you are interested in getting (what the vehicle is valued on the market and what they are asking) by viewing their website and researching the reliability or features of it's make, model and year. Push the conversation about financing for the vehicle back until you can agree on an overall price. Also, if you have questions about anything you are uncertain of or something is unclear, ask the question! At the end of the day, nobody is going to force you to sign or make you spend money; if you don't like the price, walk away. In terms of financing, if you don't like the interest rate on the loan they offer, walk away and get a quote from your trusted bank or credit union. With said advice in mind, I am confident you can make a good deal with these folks. I worked with Dan "the man" Melucci, he was, again, very earnest in fixing any problems with my trade-in and answered or got back to me on any questions I had. Past the things all car dealers stereotypically say to sell you a vehicle, he was not manipulative at all and genuine. If you are looking for work trucks or vehicles with room and headspace, give these guys a shot.

** PSA*** Did you…read moreknow that when you call and make an appointment for your vehicle, its with the service advisor. The appointment you make , with date and time, is NOT with the service technician, it is with the service advisor, the one who cannot repair your car. Yep you heard me correctly. How do I know this? Well my family lived it and Ms. Cameron in service confirms this. See the story below: My son made an appointment (one week in advance) for 10/28/24 at 9am, for his GMC Canyon. He wanted the front end checked out, he had some rubbing and squeaking. He also requested an oil change, and transmission flush. After not hearing anything from Ms. Cameron concerning an update or an estimate in a timely considerate manner, my son calls/texts her around 330pm 10/28/2024, the technician confirms my son needs front brakes and rotors. Calipers were rusted but told they were in working order. Service closes at 5pm. No way it will be finished. What did you do for six and half hours? What if he waited for his truck to be completed? Now were into the next day ; the truck spent the night at the dealership, my son and his family are inconvenienced at this point, they have my vehicle, which now inconvenience's me. On 10/29/2024 around 1137am I call the dealership, because the service person, Cameron, cant make updated phone calls to inform people of the status of their vehicles. She informs me that all that is left is the brake job. At 230 this afternoon we were able to pick up my sons truck. WHY did it take 36 hours for a front pad and rotors, oil change and transmission flush? When you call and make a service appointment why is it with the service advisor and not the technician (per Cameron)? When I hung up the phone with Ms. Cameron my cell phone caller ID showed "Garvey Auto Group" (We chose Whiteman's because we assumed it was a family run business). If that is the case and Garvey is involved with Whiteman's, its no wonder we received crappy service and it took 36 hours for the minor /standard mechanic repairs to be completed in an UNtimely manner. When I call and make a doctors, dentist or any other appointment for a certain time, it stands to reason that I will see the professional in that time frame, not the next day?!. This is NOT the first time we have had an appointment and the vehicle wasn't looked at till way later in the day. This happened to us in July 2024 for his Rear brakes. We thought it was a fluke and one time thing, bad day etc. Apparently it is standard practice at this dealership. You guys are making Warren Tire look better and better.
