While visiting Whistler Village, my go to spot! I prefer restaurants cafés that are catered to vegan vegetarian cuisine and I believe they are the only spot in Whistler Village that has an entirely vegetarian vegan menu. But that's not the only reason I go there, it's because the food and the Service are excellent. I've been here several times and me and my husband have been pleased with everything we've ordered. Smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffee, tea, sandwiches, salads, breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwich, Nanaimo bars, and even raw vegan desserts. Plus their vegetarian options, but I'm vegan. My personal favorite that I got several times was the cocoa smoothie bowl, raw snicker bar, the tofu scramble breakfast sandwich. all my salad bowls were good as well. Minimal indoor bar seating but a few tables outside. We took advantage of the tables while we were visiting the summer on the winter probably would eat at the bar or take it to go. Casual. Incredible!!! Such a delicious gem in the village. So thankful we found this place that is almost completely vegan, delicious and affordable! During our trip had the TLT (tempeh lettuce and tomato) sandwich twice. It was wonderful- the focaccia bread the size and the vegan mayo sauce. My sister had that and a vegan egg sandwich with added tempeh. Both really good. No seating inside but nice tables outside w umbrellas and Adirondack chairs as well. Friendly service too. It's a small space so we ordered and stepped aside for another family when some rude woman behind the counter yelled at us to get out of way as they had some kind of buffet for a camp going on! Yum! Thankful for this spot as the majority of the food is vegan. My sister is 100% vegan, and I love vegan food so this was a really nice option to have in the village. The food we tried was delish. My first time trying this restaurant and there were tons of restaurants in the village. We stopped here because they had great reviews so we tried it. I got the dynamite wrap my sister got the rainbow bowl. The flavors are just something I've never had before. I like the crunchy chickpeas that they added to the dynamite wrap. It was so fresh and delicious and flavorful that we're going to try to eat there every day while we're here for a week. read more

This spot is tucked away in the corner of the village and is a perfect location to just sit out relax, enjoy the scenery and listen to the birds sing while eating a refreshing salad on a hot summer day. I always find that it's challenging to get my necessary veggie fix on ski trips. I tend to see a lot of bar food, chili, maybe avocado toast with some tomato, but not the real fresh and healthy stuff. Naked Sprout was on my radar from the beginning, but I wasn't able to convince my partner to go there on my own. Luckily, later on in our trip, we were joined by some friends who also wanted to try Naked Sprout, so we ventured over and pretty much took over the teeny tiny space as a party of six. We were all very hungry after a long hike and demolished our food, with rave reviews all around. We came here at around 1 on a Saturday. I didn't realize this beforehand, but there's not much seating here -- something like six barstools at a counter in an already narrow space. We were the only ones in there for the majority of our meal so it didn't really present any issues, but it's worth mentioning. Naked Sprout is vegan-, vegetarian- and gluten-free-/celiac-friendly. I'm very sensitive to gluten and one of us is celiac, so we were very grateful for this. The person working at the time told us they have certain procedures for celiac customers (i.e. ensuring no cross-contamination) which was much appreciated. For sandwiches and wraps, there's GF bread/wraps available, and many of the options (i.e., the ramen) are made with GF starches (i.e., noodles). The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious. Tens across the board! After a lengthy and painstaking deliberation, I went with the Buddha Bowl (Quinoa, Spring greens, Massage Kale, Carrot Ribbons, Tomatoes, Roasted pumpkin seeds, Orange Miso dressing) and added an egg, which I loved. My friend with celiac had the Dynamite Wrap with a GF wrap and said it was insanely good, and she has a discerning palate so I'm inclined to trust her. This was our go to spot this time in Whistler Village. Here for a week and literally ate here 4 times. Perfect spot to grab delicious Vegan sandwiches, amazing ramen, wraps, breakfast burritos, chai lattes, coffee, cookies, and more before or after mountain activities. It's a small place and seating can be challenging, but we took ours to go most times and ate outside in the village or back at our place. Everyone in here works hard, is professional, cordial, and seems to care about their food. We went to grab coffee at Naked Sprouts out of convenience and ended up being greatly disappointed - the coffee was very watered down and extremely overpriced. Customer service was also questionable. We got 3 iced lattes and 1 iced coffee totalling over $30 excluding tip. There seems to not be any coffee beans in this cafe and cold brew was the source of all drinks. All of our drinks were very watered down and hardly tasted like coffee. The product description also mentioned that the drinks contained "coffee ice" which we were looking forward to. This coffee ice turned out to be one singular cube of coffee ice amongst a cup of regular ice. When seeing this, we felt a little cheated by the product description as we had higher expectations of being able to satisfy our caffeine cravings. The woman at the till who I assume was the owner also made a questionable comment about my group which made us slightly uncomfortable. Additionally, upon paying, she directly asked us "how much do you want to tip my girls?" which definitely took us by surprise due to the bluntness of the question. I believe that the decision to tip and the amount of the tip, especially for togo orders, should be up to the discretion of the purchaser. So today, my bf ordered the drink and asked it to be split into two cups. He had to pay $2 extra for almond butter which is not common at most smoothie places. So he paid well over $12 for a watered down smoothie. So as the girl pours the drink into two cups, she left quite a bit left over in the blender. She hands the two drinks that weren't even equally distributed. Looking back to see her pouring the leftovers from the blender into her own glass and drank it! I cannot believe it. We know a ton of people from Vancouver who are looking for a smoothie place as we do a lot of athletic events here. The customer service was the worst I've ever received. The sad part it was with the owner! I called in a pickup order. At the time I was sick in bed and didn't need extra attitude or issues.. At the end of my order. The owner asked if i would tip. I said. Sure, she thought it wasn't a big enough tip. She proceeds to lecture me on tipping and pretty much begging for me to tip more. It was so uncomfortable and awkward. Being a business owner myself. I couldn't not image in a million years talking to a customer like that. In all honesty, i felt like a 20% tip for a Togo order was fair. I was afraid if I didn't tip more she would spit in my food. My husband picked up the food. She made him pay an extra $4 tip before she would release the food. Such weird and bizarre behavior. She asked if he wanted a bag. But, hesitate to give it to him. Again because she felt she needed more money from us. THE FOOD The food was -2 stars! The oatmeal taste like mashed potatoes. Way to overcooked. I took a couple of bites and it just got stuck in the back of my thought. The fruit was not fresh. My 3 different juices all tasted the same even though i paid extra to get my modifications. There were no modifications. After reading other reviews I see the owner is super defensive, she seems to blame and attack customers no accountability and incredibly egotistical. Which is so sad. I never write bad reviews. But this was just all-around awful experience on my honeymoon. I tried green mustache. They are another juice bar in the village!!! The food wasn't anything special. Healthy good doesn't have to be so boring and tasteless. My daughter couldn't eat her salad . The person running the place was very rude. We were a family of 5 having lunch 30 min before closing. The place was empty. We ordered a $85 meal from Naked Sprout, but my son wanted meat so he went next door to get a burger. When I went to order my son a drink from Naked Sprout, the owner complained that my son ate his burger at our table in "her patio" because his meal was purchased elsewhere. I guess an $85 meal wasn't enough to allow my son to eat at the table with us. Will not come back or recommend!!! read more

Healthy options - for lunch, juice, etc. Really wanted to like this place however they have one major flaw (that is a concern for cleanliness and a pet peeve of mine).. for food orders, the staff does NOT use gloves. For my order of grilled cheese and tuna avo bowl, they touched all ingredients with their BARE HANDS. The cheese, the avocado, the bread, the green onion topping, everything. Gross. The cashier, who handles money, offered a sample of the soup and touched the spoon (the part that you eat from) with his fingers. In the food business these are not acceptable. What a totally disappointing experience and interaction with the Owner of Naked Sprout Whistler. Went with a couple friends to get some food, because they offer vegan options, and when paying the high bill of $60 for three mediocre and small Ramen meals, the Owner argued that i was required to pay a tip because of the current Covid crisis, which I didn't because I'm just eating outside and there was no service other then taking my order. Then the Owner was pissed off and came outside to tell me and my friends we could not sit outside her store because the property manager would complain. Will never eat at Naked Sprout again. This place will not remain in business with an angry owner like that. So many other far better quality food options. Do not support this company! We need to promote better businesses with better customer service, especially in regions that we, as British Columbian's, market to the global community. I walked in, saw that their smoothie options we really gross (were talking kale) and left. My sister and friend stayed and got mocha lattes. First they asked them if they were ok with coconut oil in their coffee and when they seemed confused the girl working got mad and said it was always in mocha lattes. So they ordered them and went with it. The girl then proceeded to take another person's smoothie order, make that, start scooping coconut oil from a container into a mason jar, and then finally turned on the French press for my friend's coffee. I stopped in here after yoga at nearby Yogacara (which was amazing btw) and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I started with a "Flu Shot"--lemon juice, cayenne, and ginger. You take it like a shot and boy does it get your body going! The ginger and cayenne are warming and rev up the metabolism for what's up next. I then had a delicious bowl of steel cut oatmeal with maple syrup, apples, chopped almonds, and a splash of almond milk. It was healthy, warming, and filling on a rainy Sunday morning. Yum! So much better than a food coma from a heavy, greasy, unhealthy brunch. Finally, I had a pot of freshly-brewed Darjeeling tea.
