I was a bit scared/nervous coming here because I've never met Lupe and wasn't sure if she was updated with the current styles or if she would know how to color correct my hair, but boy am I happy! I went to my usual salon this past Wednesday and I hated my hair! I'll add picture so you can see why. I asked her to correct it (my usual salon) but it pretty much looked the same. I usually see Irma for my haircut and she does a wonderful job. A few days ago I called and Irma was not there. The person who answered asked me what type of haircut I wanted and I told her a bob haircut with the front being long. She gave me a same day appointment and I showed up. Sharing my friends experience, she went in with a specific picture in mind for her color, she went in and was told they'd do it how she wanted it. WRONG. They thinned out her hair so much, gave her a full head of pale yellow highlights and then laid a ugly orange brown on her roots that didn't even coordinate with the color of the highlights, they also completely fried her virgin hair. It looked like early 2000s streak highlights. Horrible job. I went back in and fixed and color corrected her 240$ mess up. read more

I was getting here my hair done for 5 yeras straight loyal customer. But last visit pissed me off completely!!!! They told me to wait 30 min. I waited like an idiot accept to make money. When my turn came in a front of me latino person came inside and she start work on his hair and telling me in full Spanish that i have to wait another 30 min. Place closing at 7pm and it was already 6.30pm. So they keep here like an idiot. Tired of that discrimination will never ever come back to this place. I've been getting haircuts from this place from when I had boyshort hair to waist-long hair and this has been a span of four years. I have had my Quineanera hair done here as well and I have loved my hair every single time. Just once, my hair was a bit mediocre but that was only because I barely noticed any difference. Most (I'm not sure if all) are bilingual in both Spanish and English. There is a small seating area of about 6-9 seats with the counter right in front of the seats. So I have virgin long hair and this was my first time ever going to a salon to get my haircut. I usually just have my mom or sister cut the tips straight across but decided I wanted to go with a v shape now so I decided to give this spot a try. I got sat around 5 mins after entering which was great. The lady that did my hair was Lupita and she asked me point by point of how I wanted it and did it exactly as I said. I got my hair done and my lashes done here. I had my hair black so it took a while to get everything together specially because I went from dark to a light color .But they did a great job . They would make my appointments and I wouldn't wait to get seen. Also , through out my process they were so sweet , they talk to you and make you feel at home. Which is good . WORSE PLACE EVER.. They burned my hair with bleach..and they cut my hair without me wanting a hair cut. They had to cut my hair because they were so stupid they don't even know how to use bleach. I hate to give bad reviews but this was terrible. I got my hair done by Maria Teresa the owner. I told her i wanted a balayage nothing to extreme I did tell her I had red in my hair before. Well she bleached my hair put me under the dryer and started taking other clients and totally forgot about me. I asked a couple times if I was done processing she keep saying no not yet. Till finally one of her co workers looked at my hair and I can tell by her look it was bad. My hair was melted and damage so bad. She didn't even apologize till this day I still can't run a comb thru my hair without it breaking. And it's been 8 months I will never go back here again. read more

I'm using my girlfriend's account because I don't have one of my own. I would regularly get a haircut here with Irma or Inez (I cant remember her name) but i went in today to get a haircut when I was informed she was let go. I was hesitant to try the new lady who apparently bragged about about having 20+ years in experience. I picked out a hairstyle on one of their magazines which the lady completely ignored. The "fade" is not a fade at all with very obvious lines, she left a patch of hair on the side burns that should have been cut, and when I requested my hair a certain length because of how particular I am about it, she completely ignored me and cut it too short despite my request. I will no longer be coming here again and I suggest that you don't either if you like your haircut a certain way. read more
