In the past, customer service has been friendly. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the warmth during a recent visit to this location. I was there for a transaction and to get an "official" letter, for our builder, that confirmed our balance. Bianca, my teller, was very nice, but did not know how to fill my request. She asked the teller next to her who could not have been more surly, unfriendly, and unhelpful. At one point she said that all letters need to be signed by a "bank officer." No prob, let's have a bank officer sign it. To which she replied, "well, there isn't an officer here." I looked around the bank and the two tellers were literally the only people working at this branch. What I ended up with was basically a balance sheet that I could have printed at home. The WF employee just shrugged her shoulders and I knew that she was not all interested in helping me further. Thankfully, this location will not be my branch. I am glad that this experience was an anomaly, or I'd be looking for a new bank.

After their "welcome" I decided to try ICCU. What a great experience! I was immediately greeted by Tomas Murrillo. He was a very pleasant young man. I told him I wanted to open an account. He welcomed me to ICCU and thanked me for picking them. He helped me through the process setting up an account and their security questions etc, (great customer safe guards--though a lot of input). Once everything was completed, he again thanked me, gave me his card and told me to call him with any question or concerns. I would like to personally thank the lady at Clarity for giving me the opportunity to pick a quality CU!

When I started working outside of the home my automatic deposits have been made into this account, everything was okay. Then sadly this spring, my mother-in-law passed. Then in June my husband split his pelvis and broke his hip. Thus delaying his duties as executor for his mothers banking accounts at the very same Wells Fargo. Two weeks ago he and his sister went to Wells Fargo to close his mother's accounts. The clerk closed his mother's account and then changed the address on MY account, then she CLOSED my account. I started getting notifications on my phone of address changes, then closure on my phone and called the bank to speak to the manager and ask what in the world is going on. Meanwhile my husband called and said the clerk he and his sister were dealing in regards to his mother's business "accidentally" closed my account! I speak to the manager and she is blaming my husband for the account closure but said to not worry she will figure out a way to fix all of the mess her incompetent clerk created. Well she called back and told me she couldn't recover or reverse anything the INCOMPETENT clerk did and said we will create another account next week and fix all of this. Next week came, nothing. Then an email, your account is closed. Then I logged into my account, ZERO balance! Where did my money go? No notification, no plan, nothing from my bank of 33 YEARS!! Now I have 5 working days to open another account, get the State of Idaho to deposit my salary into a new account, direct the automatic payments out of my CLOSED account to another account! Meanwhile, after getting notified my account is closed in finality, I called the bank and the inept, ineffectual, inadequate manager wouldn't take my call. I called the WellsFargo 1-800 "help me" line and she was appalled at my experience and did her best to help me. She let me know that the money I had in my CLOSED account will be sent to me via check in 3 to 10 business days. Now you tell me, how do I pay my bills, buy groceries, fuel my car while my money is being mailed to me via a chexk in 3 to 10 business days?! And where do I find the time to get a new account and transfers needed....all of this done in my work week? If you bank at this bank, get out while you can! If you are considering this bank, Wells Fargo located at 823 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, ID, not only turn away BUT RUN! This bank is a DISASTER waiting to happen to poor people!

That reimbursement- nearly $1,000 was drawn on a US bank account a block from my office where I work. I didn't want to drive all the way to my credit union, and thought I could cash it at the local US Bank where it was drawn on, buy a few thing and take care of some financial obligations while on lunch near my office. I walked into the us bank branch with the check and asked to cash it. I do not bank with US bank, so they wanted to charge me $7 to cash a check drawn on a US Bank account at that branch! A county government account even! When they told me the fee to cash one of their own checks, I took the check, walked out, and will never return to a US Bank again. I will never recommend US Bank either. If US Bank can afford to buy naming rights to a NFL Stadium, they can afford to waive $7 check cashing fees for checks drawn on their banks. As they say; with a gun, you can rob a bank. With a bank, you can rob the country. US bank is a classic example of a banks fees and policies oppressing the middle class and poor people.
