I got the dirty chai and it was good, but the chai spices were a little muted and the espresso shots overpowered the drink. Idk what happened to their salads. Paying $19 for a salad the size of a side salad is crazy. I've been going to d'lite since 2014 in Scottsdale. When the protein salad use to be called "the man salad" I ordered one the other day. I had 4 cubes of chicken, no tuna and a sliver of an avocado slice. We went through the drive though so I was not able to see the inside- however, our service was quick and smooth. One disappointed factor was that we got the kids quesadilla and a kids grilled cheese. I believe this location has an indoor sitting area but I have just been going to the drive thru (I know most of these restaurants are drive thru only). It was a lovely presentation of pesto drizzled tomato slices, fried egg, pepper jack, avocado, and hash patty on a bed of mixed greens with balsamic vinaigrette. It was overall a pretty good meal. I loved the combo of greens with proteins and the pesto + balsamic added some extra layers of flavor. I was surprised that the "hash patty" was not a corned beef type hash and was your standard hash brown patty since potatoes don't seem too low carb. The veggies were all very fresh but I was a little disappointed in the egg which was overcooked and rubbery.
