I have been going to D.O Summers for years and the Staff has always been Kind,Polite &Professional. When dropping off and picking up my clothing ,I have never had any issues. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone in town or coming from out of town looking for a home Run in the clutch! I also use the car wash and the fellas there are more than helpful and professional. They keep the car detailing areas clean and stocked up with microfiber towels and cleaning solutions and I appreciate them! I took white shirts and a jacket to be cleaned. One of the shirts was not cleaned, the collar was still dirty and the jacket was written on. I will NOT hold back ever. When I complained they asked for pics, which I sent, kept coming back and forth with no resolution. The worst. read more

I travel to the Cleveland area occasionally. The last time I was there I needed to visit a local dry cleaner. I stopped at DO Summers and was pleasantly surprised. The prices were more than fair. The quality my dry cleaning was as good as anywhere in the country. They were able to complete all of my cleaning in the same day, and all of my stains came out. I would not go anywhere else in Cleveland to have my dry cleaning done. As an added bonus, if you live in the area, they will come to your house and get your Drycleaning and deliver it. My mother recently passed away and I inherited a very expensive Hotel Collection down comforter. I utilized the free pickup service to this location for it to be dry cleaned. This option was great, and it's free so I couldn't have been happier. 2 weeks went by - I inquired as to the status and was then notified it was complete. I opted again for the free delivery service. However, they delivered the WRONG comforter. I immediately called the delivery concierge, the store, upper level management so they could correct the situation. It has been months now and the heirloom comforter has still not been returned and is still missing. After about 4 weeks of back and forth with the store and management, they did pay for a replacement. However, they lost a giant king-sized heirloom comforter that was my deceased mother's! I am truly devastated. Her death alone was tragic enough but to additionally deal with losing a cherished item that I can never get back. I regret opting to have it dry cleaned and I regret taking it to this company. The amount of guilt and shame I feel for making this mistake of using this company is something I will literally deal with for the rest of my life. Thanks DO Summers for losing a piece of my mother's legacy. The management and store did stay in contact with me, and I do believe the one manager sounded remorseful. However, I expected contact from ownership because there should have been a reward put in place for the safe return of this item. In my heart I believe they destroyed the heirloom, which is why I still don't have it. If they had actually contacted the other 8 customers who had comforters in the shop at the same time and explained the situation, the person who had it would return it. I hate this company from the core of my being and hope the owners know about this. read more

Recently I went to D.O. Summers in Northfield on two separate occasions. In both instances, the staff went above and beyond what I believe so many other companies would do. On the first stop, I was on a tight budget and the staff member directed me to online coupons to help me financially. She certainly did not have to do that. When I stopped the second time, I arrived just after closing time, and the manager(?) re-opened the cash register so I could complete my transaction, despite the fact that he wanted to end his shift. I am a long time DO Summers customer . When the store on Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst closed years ago, we started to go to DO Summers on Wilson Mills , located in Mayfield Village. I do not go often because much of the clothing I now own does not need dry cleaning. However in the fall I do take in bed quilts and coats. I took a large quilt in a week ago to be laundered and cleaned. I was told it would be ready today (Tuesday ). Okay fine. I did stop in last Friday because I thought perhaps they had my quilt ready early - the young woman at the desk said no but it might be ready on Monday . So fine, I did not get there on Monday - but today ( Tuesday) the day it was supposed to be done - I go in around 5 PM and am told it is still in the machine and will not be ready today. I told them - they needed to discount my bill ( it should have been FREE !) - she gave me 5 dollars off. I have now driven there twice to pick up my quilt - it was obviously not ready on Monday and also not ready the original day she told me to pick it up. I asked them if since I as the customer am inconvenienced - could they deliver it - Oh sure - on Thursday maybe !!! I want my quilt and that will be the last time I use DO Summers. I still have two more quilts and coats to be cleaned and I will look for another dry cleaners in the area. If you use them - don't expect things in a timely manner ! Bonnie H. read more

Be aware! If you care about your clothes or have anything of any value DO NOT take your clothes here. They ruined a very expensive top of mine and tried to pull it off without even notifying me. I was a regular client on their delivery route so they obviously don't care about their customers. I'm not even sure if they cleaned it properly because it was a dry clean only shirt and now it's totally ruined. read more

I've been using this location for years and I can honestly say that there has not been a day that I have not been satisfied with their service. Weekly they clean my shirts and I love that they are ALWAYS ready on time (same day, when in by 10am). Complimentary garment bags with my name and address means I can drive up and just hand it over, or use the 24hr drop box. Very convenient. The staff is always friendly and knows me as I pull up to the drive through window. Furthermore, I put my credit card on file with them, so I don't even have to sign when I pick up my shirts. I also gave my email so I get a message exactly when my shirts are ready. Great reminder. The on site car wash is also pretty good. read more

Unreliable - bottom line. Lost a pair of pants and a shirt. They found them both times but still reflects poor quality operations. The prices are high. Only reason I continued to go here before losing my clothes is that quality of dry cleaning in the area is terrible and this place was okay. read more
