I felt like because I was obviously from out of town they gave me a technician that was not able to provide a good gel nail polish job. It was. Wet expensive too. The worse mani/pedi I ever had. I think the nail polish was old as it was all squishy on my nails. I end up taking it off the next day because my nails are a mess. When I got there she didn't have me on her schedule saying I just have called MA and said that was funny which I didn't find funny at all. She was nice enough to take me after about a 30 minute wait. She kept filing on my skin not just with the hand file, but the drill as well. After I got home and looked closely at my nails, I noticed that they are thick, lumpy and uneven. Well, it has been less than a week since I got my nails done. First off, while doing my nails my technician repeatedly called me a chicken because I wanted my nails short (which she still did not do), as she was filing my nails down she filed so hard that she cut my cuticle which resulted in an infection, she was telling me about how the FBI was watching her, and to top it all off I didn't even get the nails I wanted and they are falling off after less than a week. Best pedicure ever! The owner made me feel I completely comfortable. She was kind and considerate. She made me feel more like a friend than a customer. Even her prices were completely fair for everything that she did. I was visiting my sister and decided to get a pedicure together. My regular place charges for everything that was done here separately. So if you are wanting to be pampered and treated like friend and not buckled and dined to death you definitely need have come to the right place. I returned this Summer to find new management. Quite simply it was the absolute worst manicure I have ever had in my life. The nails were different lengths and shapes, she cut me with her tools, and the polish was gloppy and messy. I told her to take all the polish off and I would pay for the pedicure. Super friendly people, but it's the worst gel manicure I've ever had. I live near a large city, and I've been to multiple salons for gel manicures. In all the years I've been going, this one is the worst. I wasn't asked to soak my nails/cuticles before trimming and shaping, plus the shaping was poorly done. I was also extremely disappointed with the application (no attention to detail). The polish was not applied evenly and now after four days looks discolored in spots. I'm not a high maintenance person or picky nail salon-goer. I also noticed that the shades of pink were not matching as expected; they never mentioned they did not have the matching regular polish and gel. I'm feeling a little duped and definitely did not get my money's worth. Best word to describe the quality of the service: disappointing. read more

I have been coming to here every summer for 5 years. I love love love this place. Kevin and Holly are the people that work at this salon, I have been seeing a new girl but I did not catch her name. Every time I come to DP Nails, I am pleasantly greeted. Holly always remembers my name even though I come for the summer haha. THEY HAVE 4 CASES FULL OF NAIL POLISH! The pedicures are around $30 but they have a mani and pedi special for $42. The polish on my toes last for 3 weeks and sometimes longer. My manicures tend to chip off but then again I garden and go to the beach all summer.They also do gel/shellac manicures and that stays on forever. I am more that satisfied with their products and professional work. I encountered a couple of bad salons in Mass and DP nails is far from bad. Holly always tries to strike up a conversation and is always cheerful. Kevin is funny in his own way. Their customer servicing is not lacking in any department. When I leave, The workers all say their farewells and gratitude. I know that my money is appreciated here. I will be back! read more

Wow! Great service and a wonderful experience. I from Miami on vacation and took the risk to go to an unknown salon. Stopped at another place with a higher Yelp rating. First stop was rude and supposedly booked for the day. I asked for a suggestion of another location in the area and they were not nice about the referral. As a tourist town, I expected more on a referral. In the end, I went to DA Nails and they were so welcoming and fit me in on the same day. Service was great and they did a great job! I checked out reviews and was a bit apprehensive, but I'm really glad I Gave it a shot. I got a pedicure and upgraded to the callous removal for an extra 10 dollars. They did a great job and I felt very pampered. They encouraged me to stay in the chair to make sure my toes were dry and when I left I was completely relaxed. The lady and gentleman working were very friendly and a number of people came in while I was there and were chatting and obviously regulars. It's a bit more expensive than some places, but the lady who took care of me made it worth every penny. My feet look and feel amazing and smooth. read more

Under new ownership for a while now... Since I've gone I feel everyone is in a rush and does not take pride in their work. I was over priced, and left with nails in all different shapes. Two other people I know that have gone - one got power which was peeling off within less than a week and another got regular mani which peeled off within a few days. Nail polish selection is not as wide anymore either. They do not go the extra mile to make your nails look good, just polish and go..again, with increased prices. read more

I've been going here for a while to get gel fills. Normally, my fills are $35 but once the salon changed their management, I got charged $45 for a fill. I tried to tell her (I believe her name was Sarah?) that I've been going here for a while and that I've never paid more than $35 but she continued to say that they increased their prices. So, I paid the $45 plus tip and left. That same day, I called and asked how much their gel fills are. A woman (possibly Sarah) picked up and said $35. I now go to Bayside Nails, the only reason why I didn't go to them in the first place is because they are a lot busier and it sometimes can be difficult to get a last minute appointment. In short, don't let a rude lady overcharge you for a gel fill. They should be $35, do not pay any more. read more

She was in a rush and there was no luxurious leg massage or anything like that, but I got some paint on my toes and I'm not bleeding or worried about catching a disease! Massage chairs are nice.
