I called today and asked for an appointment with Mina but when I got there Lee said she was going to do my nails even though I reiterated that I asked for Mina (who wasn't with any other clients). I then asked Lee if she does builder gel and she said yes and said she would give me a builder gel manicure. By the time she finished removing my existing gel, she told me the dip would be better for my nails. I allowed her to use the dip but I asked her to create an apex. With the language barrier she had no clue what I was talking about and she refused to look at images to understand what I wanted. One of my nails was really lumpy (precisely why I didn't want dip, because I've never had a smooth application) and I asked Lee to fix it. She said it would get smoothed down when she went over the nails with the nail drill. Well, the nail is just as lumpy now as before. She cut one of my cuticles causing it to bleed and she was so aggressive with the file on another nail so that cuticle started bleeding as well. The top coat application was poor and I can see visible streaks on two of my nails where she didn't apply the coat smoothly, and I have a bubble on another nail. The insult to injury is that she charged me $70 for the horrible nail job and I had to run out to find a bank machine because she didn't want to accept debit card payment. Needless to say, I will never go back. I gave two stars because I got in quickly and it was five minutes from my home. Beyond that, not a single good thing about the service. read more

Avoid this place. Horrible service ... questionable business practices. No price list... charges seem to change all the time. Apparently they now own the store in Wolfeboro also now..... Plenty of other reputable nail places to go to. read more

The manicure station was filthy, both the pad and the plexiglass barrier. I should have walked out, but I didn't. It was all downhill from there. Lee and I did have a language problem, so I can't really fault her for thinking that I had said clear when I had said sheer for polish. I thought that she was applying a strengthening undercoat, but that was the whole manicure. read more

I've always done my own nails my whole life I was going on vacation thought I'd treat myself so I got my nails done up in North Conway NH. What a mistake they got infected days later, mind you I have hard thick nails and long! I was devastated I stopped bye OK Lee's Nails in my home town. She was delightful kind,funny Lee got my nails healthy I couldn't be more greatful.Now I go every month.
