My son and I road-tripped from CA thru Tx and upward to IN totaling 2000 miles. He earned a D1 scholarship to play baseball for USI. He is recovering from a broken foot and the prognosis is that he would heal four weeks into fall semester. Initially, I thought he could "tough it out" with an e-bike or e-scooter for transportation as the school was "across the street" from his apartment. After a couple of days of settling him into his apt and analyzing the demands of his school and baseball schedule, I realized that he needed a car. So, I rescheduled my flight to find the right car that would fit our needs. I am currently not working and have a very humble budget. I called D-Patrick Honda...Ben politely took my call and directed me to Ryan Hager. I met with Ryan and shared my situation. Ryan was amazing and went above and beyond. Mark was also helpful and supportive that they both found the perfect car for my son. Lee, Amy, and Jasmine were equally friendly, supportive, and effective. My son was at baseball practice and had no idea of my intentions. He was needed to sign the contract. I called Ryan and informed him that I wanted to surprise JJ (my son). So I told JJ that he's going to D-Patrick Honda to fill out a job application. Lee played a long and instructed JJ to complete the top portion of an actual application, then handed him the vehicle contract and told him to complete this "for his car." JJ began to complete the form, stopped, and then asked "what? Are you serious?" He looked at me with a huge smile. It was a special moment. There's no guarantee of the durability or reliability of the used car I purchased for my son...it's a used car, so I'll take my chances. However, the pleasant and warm memories created by the staff at D-Patrick Honda will last forever. I am grateful. read more

D Patrick Honda in Evansville provides the worst customer service absolutely possible. I scheduled an appointment online. Thought I would receive great customer service as they followed up and we made the appointment quickly when I arrived. No one knew I had an appointment and said they could "I guess help me". I was selling my vehicle and received a quote. They did not match the quote I reviewed online and tried to lowball me. My vehicle was two years old with only 14,000 miles on it in great condition. The sale should've been easy and smooth. They had me sign over my title and then told me that they could not get me a check until later that day or the next morning this seems very odd, but I was OK as they gave me a receipt. I showed up the next morning to pick up my check and was asked for my receipt from the salesman who helped me sell my vehicle as if he didn't know me even though he remembered me. Not off to a good start only to find out there is no check ready. I was made to wait for 30 minutes for a check while everyone whispered about us and that the check was not ready. The finance manager who promised me the check avoided us and would not even make eye contact and then flippantly said oh it's fine whatever just walk across the street and go get them a check. A $20K check may not be a lot to them, but it is a lot to a person who's selling their vehicle and giving customer service should be expected at a higher level, especially when dealing with higher priced items like cars and houses. It's very disappointing to be treated this way and I don't recommend anyone purchase or sell a vehicle here...drive down to Indianapolis where you can be treated correctly. read more

My family has bought their past 4+ vehicles from this dealership and let them service our cars for oil changes etc. and they completely took advantage of me when I went in for an oil change. The man who went over the extra services that needed done did not tell me the prices for the services because his printer ran out of ink so he wrote it down on a piece of paper (still not the price nor did he say it). I get up to the register and they charged me $300 for this oil change! They changed 2 other fluids which mind you only one needed done when the car is over 90,000 miles and my car has 45k! I was stunned when I got to the front desk and she told me my total I even said to the woman I didn't expect it to be that much. My father was enraged and tried to call back and the man lied and said he told me the price. On top of that, he said to call back Monday for the manager. He didn't answer, left a message, AND STILL DIDNT GET BACK WITH HIM. I'm dissatisfied and disappointed considering my family has been customers of this dealership for over a decade. What a waste! November 22nd I had my twin boys we have 2 other children as well so since we have a jeep and am altima it was crucial that we get another vehicle that we can fit everyone in. Upon out vehicle search we found a Traverse we were interested in so went to d pat to check it out. We had trouble finding it on the lot so my husband called and was told it was at the other location off 41 so we drove over there and the associate that we spoke to stated the vehicle went to auction but wanted to show us an expedition and kept insisting we look at a vehicle that we had zero interest in adding in that they will give us a tv with purchase of vehicle. While this was happening I was able to find another Traverse at the location we were just at so we went back to the d pat Honda location this was where my husband spoke to Merrill. He brought over the Traverse we were interested I'm but stated someone has already put a deposit on this. This is now twice that am associate seems to have no idea what they are doing. Of it's sold or not available why even bother? After all this we are shown an buick enclave. Now my husband is a veteran that owns American vehicle repair so was already upset going to Carlos in first place but it was quicker method then how he normally purchases vehicles as he didn't have the time to search around as much. But the car was more than a couple 1000 over asking price which they refused to budge on at all. My husband kept saying the only reason they do this is because something is broken and they are trying to make money back he said he sees it all the time repairing customers vehicles after they brought from lots. Vehicle was being sold as is which made him think this more but he kept being assured nothing was wrong with the vehicle. We then kept getting hounded by them to finance through them when we already had check in hand that we had taken care of with our own bank. A couple weeks after purchasing the car it has been going in limp mode and then completely dying. Now it will not even start. I have been to a lot of dealerships and this has been the worst experience with a dealership I have ever encountered in my life, EVER! I have excellent credit and I can buy from anywhere. If I could give this dealership 0 stars I would. I have been searching for a car for quite sometime and thought I had found the right car. However, due to my location in reference to this lot I made an over the phone deal with sales man Jack Viera. We had agreed to $12,500 plus tax, for the 2012 Acura TL with the technology package with approximately 73000 miles, granted everything checked out on the car. Again I have excellent credit so financing is no issue at all. I made the trek to this dealership which takes approximately 4 hours round trip with our deal in mind. I liked the car, but there were a couple minor issues. One was the hood strut was broken (the hood wouldn't stay open) and the other was a minor molding issue that could be easily fixed. Naturally I discovered the hood issue when I went to check the oil and coolant levels in the car. Jack Viera told me prior to checking the oil and coolant levels "there's no need to check it because someone will be fired if it hasn't been done". It was right after he stated this we opened the hood and discover that the hood strut was broken. So you tell me how they even changed the oil or anything in the car without noticing this. It was blatantly obvious it did not work. This is a Honda dealership and Acura is Honda's luxury brand like Lexus is to Toyota. So my point is how could they have even checked over this car without noticing a glaring problem? To top it all off the used car sales manager Aaron Coulter has been driving this car for 130 plus days for free. This leads me to believe he hasn't been checking anything in this car. During my test drive with this car Jack had to delete all of Aaron's personal information from the cars system; all the addresses he went to, phones numbers for people he knew, ect. So after I decided I wanted to proceed with buying the car they raised the price to $12,800 plus tax when we were going through financing options. They didn't even bother to tell me this information, but I noticed they were acting kind of shady and so I verified the price that we agreed to on the phone of $12,500 plus tax and that's when I learned the jump in price. A few days had passed and I was still considering buying this car if we could come to an agreement. So I called Jack Viera back on the phone and he screamed at me and then hung up. This has left a terrible taste in my mouth for this dealership. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone wanting an honest and helpful sales staff or dealership to go elsewhere. Save yourself the countless hours I have wasted dealing with them and go somewhere else. There's two spots on here for their reviews I'm leaving one on both because of how unpleased I am. My girlfriend bought a car from them not even 2 months ago. Within first day check engine light kicks on. Within the drive it had kicked back off so we didn't think of anything. Month goes by and here I am now dealing with an issue that could've been fixed when I got it. Camshaft adjusted itself causing the timing to jump. Could've been fixed quite easily now I'm here with a $1500 bill and it just so happens that I'm out of luck because they sold it as is. I feel lied to on multiple occasions. Unpleased I'm so many different ways I just want to curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep. Best advice I was given by them was to trade it in somewhere else to "get the most money out of it" this was told to me by the salesman who sold it to me Alex Patel. In anger I hung up on him and called back to speak to service manager maybe to see if there was any other way I could be helped. They pick up my phone call but when directed to service manager they send me to his inbox to never be called back. This has been one hell of an experience and I would NEVER recommend this place after the service I have received. I'm glad me being as young as I am just got fucked out of 5k plus another 1500 and anything else may apply. Wouldn't deserve one star after this but it's the lowest I could go read more

Had a software update applied as part of a recall. They didn't follow the simple instructions which I could even find online. Ended up being there for 3 hours for a 20m update. Ended up leaving with error messages on my warning system. They said they would call me the next day after they contacted Honda. They never called. It's been 5 days. There are no questions to the Mercedes D Patrick Dealership. Agree, when you buy a car in the cabin you are firmly convinced that it is at least in working condition. At the Honda D Patrick dealership, we bought the 2014 Cadillac. The sales agent did not say that the car was damaged with the engine, nor did we notify that he did not know how many miles this car could drive. The next day, the car did not start. We returned to Honda D Patrick Evansville, but the staff said that he sees no problems. The staff did not want to intervene in the inspection of the car. The next day, the car stopped on the roads for no reason. After the third visit to the Honda D Patrick, we were told yes, indeed, the check shows a lot of mistakes. We can't help you. To my great disappointment, I had to talk to Honda D Patrick Evansville Aaron Coulter sales manager. This is the only case when I talked with the managers of any companies selling or providing services, when there was a direct trace of disrespect for the clients of the manager of Honda D Patrick Evansville Aaron Coulter. The manager naturally refused to take back the broken car. He did not feel guilty in our case. He probably sells broken, used cars every day, and he gets away with it. We had no other choice but to change the car, which does not drive a new car in this salon. I want to contact directly the manager of Honda D Patrick Evansville Aaron Coulter: "We all walk under God. My experience exists with Tom from the service center. This man may be one of the worst people i have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Horrible service on my brand new vehicle. Was an absolute nightmare to deal with. I will say that the sales staff helped me, but this man made my experience so bad that i will never be back. I have no trust in the service staff due to this man. I pray that no one else has to deal with this guy.
