Amazing out-of-state purchase experience (purchased from Seattle)! No games, no gimmicks, no BS. I made an offer, they countered, I accepted, put the deposit down and the rest is history. I purchased a practically brand new 24' IS500 with only 850 miles on it, L/Certified. I asked for a video of the vehicle and was provided a very thorough walk around. With such low miles, I did put a lot of trust into Kenny Kent Lexus by not having a PPI completed prior to my purchase, the L/Certified gave me piece of mind along with the amazing communication by their team. We communicated primarily through text and everyone I dealt with (Michael and Noah) were always responsive and professional. There were a handful of times where I needed to chat on the phone and again, everyone was helpful, responsive and professional. The car arrived via enclosed trailer, and I used the shipping company that Michael recommended (shout out to Stratton Express) who were also amazing to deal with. This is my 4th Lexus dealership experience (and my 5th Lexus) and by far THE BEST experience I've had to date with purchasing a vehicle. We were on our way to Evansville when we had a terrible road hazard emergency. We were able to continue traveling with the spare tire and made it to Kenny Kent Lexus. We didn't purchase our Lexus there, but their Service Dept Mgr, Tyler, went right to work for us advocating with our road hazard insurance company that didn't want to cover a necessary new tire and wheel. The final outcome, thanks to Tyler, and His service team, we were able to get back on the road in a short time. Kenny Kent is blessed to have Tyler working for them. Avoid Kenny Kent at all costs. In good faith we went back to give them the opportunity to earn our business after receiving a much lower price ($10,000) from Lexus of Louisville. I handed Michael Jarman the written Louisville quote showing a $10k lower price and better trade-in. Instead of working with us, Michael exploded. He claimed he was keeping our $1,000 deposit (with no signed agreement), mocked us for shopping quotes, yelled at us, and became so hostile that as we exited his office, I stated he was acting like a typical car salesman. He then chased us through the lobby while screaming, "My job is an honorable job, I work hard in my job to support my family and kids," and partially blocked the exit. I genuinely feared a physical altercation. He continued screaming at us until we got in our own Yukon. After we left, Michael continued harassing us with multiple phone calls. We were harassed and he tried to intimidate us, and feeling unsafe, we notified the Evansville Police Department, obtaining a case number due to the harassment, blocking of the door, and aggressive behavior. Only later did he text that we'd get our $1,000 back, but the damage was done. We already had an appointment in Louisville and left Kenny Kent for Louisville. We purchased our Lexus TX 350 Luxury SUV there, and it was the easiest and most professional new car buying experience of our lives--and we have bought three new autos over the last five years--at $10,000 lower cost! I encourage anyone looking to buy a Lexus to visit Lexus of Louisville for the best pricing and services and specifically ask for Adrian Vogt. Joseph Walton stated that his "investigation" confirmed Michael "walked with you toward the door as you exited the showroom, and he did step outside briefly." He stated that from Michael's perspective, "this was customary as guests depart"--an excuse that utterly fails to justify this hostile, aggressive, and unprofessional behavior. I requested surveillance video to corroborate my story but was informed by Joseph Walton that there were no cameras in the front lot or lobby, and the only cameras were in the car drop area in the service area. We escalated my complaint to Lexus Corporate Headquarters, Andrew Gilleland, Sr. VP of Automotive Operations Group overseeing, all sales, marketing, and customer relations. To date we have not received any final updates from their investigation. For those giving high reviews of Kenny Kent, unfortunately, if you did not seek comparable quotes, you were probably taken advantage of. Lexus of Louisville stated they are seeing increased business from NW Kentucky. There is a reason for this, they offer much better pricing and professionalism. From a service standpoint, within a 150-mile radius, they will pick up your automobile, give you a loaner vehicle, and deliver your Lexus back to you--unreal service! Any response from Kenny Kent that differs from this posting is a lie. We have no reason to misrepresent the facts--we bought the identical vehicle at $10,000 lower cost--and why would we lodge any complaint if we were simply escorted in the manner that Michael notes as "customary"? This was the most outrageous dealership experience ever, and we have bought three new autos over the last five years. If you value honesty, professionalism, and best pricing--and if anyone has fallen for their, as they call it, "non-refundable" $1,000 deposit without being notified it was non-refundable, and certainly not in writing--I urge you to go back to Kenny Kent and demand your money back, or contact the Indiana State Attorney General along with the BBB. read more
