This vehicle had problems when my daughter in law looked at it and drove it, salesperson stated everything would be fixed before they picked up car. Upon picking car up, half way home the car started having previous issues. Now dealership wants to claim Sold As IS, this is total bullshit, and dealership and salesperson Lori should be ashamed of themselves for selling a POS car, My daughter in law and son, this is their only form of transportation and my son and daughter are unable to get to work. I'm warning anyone considering doing business with VASS CDJR -- run the other way. This dealership…read morehas cost us thousands of dollars, months without reliable transportation, and a mountain of stress. We put a $20,000 down payment down on a vehicle. In January of 2024. Vehicle went in for a recall fix in August and two months later I got concerned because they still had our vehicle and weren't helping us with any sort of ride or anything yet we're still making payments and going without a car and so I started doing some investigating and I came across a documented odometer rollback on our vehicle that they clearly attempted and I can only say this for certain because they publicly posted the vehicle we purchased for sale on their car lot September 9th of 2023 The documented odometer roll back was performed September 18th of 2023 full-blown proof they had it in their possession when the odometer roll back was documented. So we tried to return the vehicle and they have stonewalled us every single chance they get. It is now been a year and a half We have now got authorities involved the attorney general involved it has been a mess I am warning everyone stay far far away from this business. On top of all this they continue calling us telling us we have positive equity in our vehicle and that we need to bring it in for a trade-in but then when we ask them if they take trade-ins with documented odometer rollbacks on the car history report they tell us no. Which is absurd because they sold us the vehicle in the first place and they are refusing to help us return it. Who really would want to buy a vehicle with a documented odometer roll back on it nobody not a single person and especially not anybody who puts $20,000 down on a vehicle. You know how long it took us to save that money? We tried to give them a chance to make things right. They chose to lie, deflect, and deny responsibility. This place is not honest, not helpful, and absolutely not worth the risk. Don't learn the hard way like we did. They sent the attorney general fraudulent invoices with mismatching dates the receipt we received when we picked up our car after the recall was performed States what recall who did it All the information it needs to have and the invoice they provided to the attorney general shows that they did that same exact stuff and the same exact recall on a different date you can't do the same exact recall on a different date you just can't. It's fraudulent they are producing fraudulent paperwork to authorities on our case It's absurd don't buy from them

An Out-of-State Purchase Done Perfectly -- Ask for Matt and Luke…read more Buying a used car sight-unseen from across the country is one of those things that sounds like a great way to get burned. The horror stories are real -- cars that look nothing like the photos, hidden mechanical issues glossed over in the listing, bait-and-switch pricing when you show up, and last-minute fees magically appearing at the signing table. I knew all of this going in. I did it anyway, and I'm genuinely glad I did. I found a used car at Hyundai of Evansville and worked with Matt and Luke from start to finish. From the very first conversation, these guys were different. No pressure, no games, no manufactured urgency. We negotiated the price honestly and efficiently over the phone -- they were straightforward, reasonable, and never made me feel like I was being managed. All the paperwork was handled ahead of time so there were no surprises waiting for me when I arrived. I flew in specifically to pick up the car. Matt and Luke walked me through the vehicle thoroughly, answered every question, and had me on the road in about 10 minutes. Everything was exactly as represented -- not a single thing had been hidden, minimized, or oversold. The whole experience was cleaner and easier than buying a car locally has ever been for me. If you're hesitant about buying long-distance, let this review be your sign. Hyundai of Evansville -- and specifically Matt and Luke -- are the real deal. They earned my trust before I ever stepped off the plane, and they delivered on every bit of it. I'd do it again without hesitation.

Went for a regular oil change came out with 2 damaged skid plate sub-frame captive nuts (threads completely stripped out) Skid plate front came loose and was hanging under the truck when driving out of the parking lot - I just happened to hear it and stopped. Full story: After lots of back and forth they admitted to having a bucket they toss bolts into and just grab from - so not your own bolts, could be damaged, cross threaded cracked etc. They also have a quick change oil lane they push reg customers through if they get too busy which are not Toyota techs just off the street hires. The mgr tried to tell me "its a wear item" I called BS hard on that then he back tracked, and said theyd look at it again - and claime dit was just bad bolts.. so they used an impact to drive in different ones I stood and watched and could hear it spin, and the tech try to throttle the impact to act like it bottomed. I called that out and made him hand me the bolt .. it was destroyed again. go back to the mgr and he says they will look at it one more time. He said its fixed now, and i get a free oil change (for catching them in multiple lies essentially). I get it home and check ,and they just impacted a larger bolt into it completely destroying what threads were left, as soo as I took it out it wouldn't go back in. fkn clown shoes. over priced half a55ed services
