I, of course, ordered a Mofongo with fried pork chunks, which is one of my favorite all time meals while my wife went with her go-to chicken breast with salad and tostones. Both of our meals were very satisfying with a nice authentic Puerto Rican flavor. My mofongo was soft and moist with the nice flavor of green plantains. You would find the flavorful pieces of pork grind mixed in too, just like they make them back at the island. The pork chunks were flavorful but a little too hard and challenging to cut through with the plastic cutlery that we were given. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it way more with a good fork and knife in hand, but nevertheless, I can see myself ordering the exact same dish next time I buy dinner here again. My wife was very happy with her meal too. Overall, we will order to go next time, or for delivery. I am curious to see how this mofongo will travel. One thing I noticed is that they don't serve the mofongo with chicken broth on the side which would probably be a great idea to include, especially on a delivery.
