What a great find! D Thai Bistro may be tucked into a small strip mall, but don't let the location fool you--this place serves outstanding Thai food. We shared the Lettuce Wraps and the Cashew Nut Chicken, and both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The lettuce wraps were fresh, flavorful, and fun to assemble, while the Cashew Nut Chicken was perfectly cooked with crisp vegetables, crunchy cashews, and a delicious savory sauce. The portions were generous and ideal for sharing. One unexpected touch was the music. Instead of the typical background music you'd expect, they were playing piano bar-style tunes, which gave the restaurant a unique and surprisingly relaxing atmosphere. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful Thai food with friendly service and a cozy vibe, D Thai Bistro is definitely worth a visit. We'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu! read more

I make an effort to stop by whenever I am in town. It is a nice surprise to find a Thai restaurant with such good food in a smaller town like Mesquite. I was not expecting much my first time, but this place impresses me every time. Khao soi, pad thai, and papaya salads are my go-to and all delicious. I've seen this place fill up completely for lunch, and have seen diners make reservations. Quick service and even better food. read more

We went by today to see if they were back and open, and they were! We had the eggplant, and the papaya salad from the lunch menu. Both were served piping hot. The salad on the side is delicious. The spicy eggplant was cooked well, and the papaya salad was crunchy and flavorful. The salad was ordered as a "7" on the hot scale and just had a little bit of a kick. The eggplant was a "5" and wasn't hot at all. The service was good, the restaurant was full, and they still kept our waters filled. We will be back. read more

Best Thai takeout we've ever had! We saw tables outside that seemed dog friendly and ended up eating there instead of takeout. They brought plates, glasses of water, even a pitcher of water so we could give our dog water. A+ food and A+ customer service! Wish we lived closer. read more

BEST Thai food we've ever had!! The wonton soup was over the top loaded with pork and dumplings and the chicken lettuce wraps were amazing and flavorful!! This was one of the CLOSEST Asian restaurant on my way to Vegas. The places gets PACKED at night and service is AMAZING. Bangkok Roll (Thai Egg rolls) - This was a typical egg roll which lacked flavor Minibury Secret (Thai Jerky) - Deep fried beef strips, defintely super chewy, flavorwise was alright Tom Kha Soup - This was probably the BEST amongst what I had, very comforting for the cold weather and filled with chicken and veggies. Never did I expect to find one of the best Thai restaurants way out here in Mesquite NV. I am from the OC and there are tons of Thai places, but the flavors of the red curry was a party on our mouths. We had it with chicken with a spicy level of 3, and it had the right bite of spice. Mixed with the sweet rich coconut flavor with the amazing flavor of the basil, it was amazing. We also had the green beans with fried tofu. That dish was so good. So this place was really well reviewed and I had been craving Thai for a while, so I had high hopes. Did this place meet those high hopes? Well... mostly. We got in at about 7 on a Saturday and put our names down. Got the impression it was busier than usual for them, even for a weekend. They gave us a 30 min wait time. It was closer to 45 minutes or an hour. The waiting area has limited seating, so just be aware if you go there on a busy night. Once we got seated, it seemed to take a long time for the server to come around to us to get our drink order. My wife is on a low-carb diet, and they didn't seem to be able to accommodate her requests easily or without additional cost. As for me, I got the Pad See-Yew and a side of yellow curry. My food was pretty good. Even at a mild spice level you can definitely taste some heat. The flat noodles went well with the chicken and whatever seasoning and sauce they put on it. The curry was absolutely delicious!! We skipped dessert since I had a Thai Beer with dinner (which is like a dessert). My wife had an iced Thai tea (unsweetened) which was very tasty even without sweetener. I would definitely give this place a try. I would give it a 3.5 for the service and a 5 for the food. read more

Stopped here for dinner our way to Utah and it was BOMB. The orange chicken was super crispy and tangy, and the Pad Thai was flavorful and cooked well. Although, I will say that we ordered a 5/10 on the spice scale (they ask what level you want) and it came out as more of a 8/10. Also ordered the sweet rice with coconut ice cream for desert which was gone in about 2 minutes. The service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance is enjoyable--super casual. read more
