    Yum yum roll
    Sarah R.

Fantastic sushi rolls but be warned, the Eureka is insanely spicy. The sushi chef warned us that it was really spicy and I said good because we like spicy but holy crap! That little Thai chili chopped in there is no joke! The flavor was amazing and between the crunchy tempura and chili powder, it actually tasted like flaming hot cheetos. It was delicious despite my mouth being on fire. I wasn't so sure about ordering the Yum Yum roll at first because I've had other rolls with lemon slices and wasn't a fan but the other ingredients sounded so good, I just had to give it a try. So glad I did! The balance of that roll was spot on. The flavors, textures, everything. Just amazing. We'll definitely be back.

For this Mesquite Nevada town, it is pretty great. Nice atmosphere, everyone seems happy, and the food is awesome. Maybe not perfect but it is in Mesquite which is geography challenged, so pretty impressed. YELP SHORT ANSWER: Yes for sure visit here. Location: Nice older building, looks like a great place for a restaurant, good parking. Building: Very inviting, nice entry and waiting area. Seating area has many options. Atmosphere: Very upbeat, everyone seemed happy, with a normal noise level. Good place for a meeting. Menu: Well done easy to read, nothing stuffy here. Food Prep: Nicely done, sushi was done well and served in reasonable cuts. Food: Really well done, sushi rolls were great and sashimi was good quality cuts. A great value compared to larger cities. Waitstaff: Better than most, very fun and upbeat, respectful of conversations and check out. Overall Value: I believe it is a very equitable dining experience with lots of Asian options, please check them out.

    Salmon roll and tuna roll.

Stopped to try this restaurant for lunch while waiting the traffic jam on the way to St. George, Utah. The restaurant was mostly empty but it took so long to get seated. Server didn't seem friendly and was not a pleasant experience service-wise. The decor of the restaurant is decent. We ordered some rolls (salmon, yellowtail and tuna). The sushi/roll cuts were tiny and the fish wasn't spectacular. Too pricy for the quality and the service you get. This place is only managing to get by because it's the only Japanese restaurant in this town. Would never recommend.

dry and ofer seasoned, did not bring any sauces out. had to ask

There were 4 people behind the reception table and that's good because there were piles of people inside! We were afraid we won't get a table fast because there were probably 30 people waiting both in and out. The receptionist asked if we're ok with sushi bar. We said yes and we were seated in 3 minutes, way ahead of everybody! There are 2 sections: habachi and sushi. We were of course seated at the sushi area. Our server's name was Star and she was lovely, highly attentive and efficient. We ordered sushi and yakisoba and everything was fresh and tasty! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back next time we're in St George!

The reason for the one star review is the quality of the food. The food was bland and lacking seasoning except for the soup which tasted like you were putting salt directly on your tongue. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but the next morning I woke up with severe food poisoning, and spent the whole day stuck in my hotel room sick. We've called the restaurant, left a voicemail, and wrote in. We have not heard back. While we were initially excited to try this restaurant after driving by it for years, we will not be returning, and won't recommend this venue to anyone. They seem to have more focus on branding and being flashy, rather than proper food handling.

Our server, Josh, was friendly, attentive and answered our questions. We had the Tempura Vegetables, Gyoza, the Highlander Roll and The Panda Roll. We also tried their potato salad. The Tempura Vegetables were the best I've had in a long time. There was the standard onion and sweet potato. We were pleasantly surprised by the green beans and thinly sliced acorn squash. All the vegetables were delicious and the panko was perfectly fried. You could tell everything from the oil they were fried in to the vegetables themselves were fresh. The gyoza were standard and what one would expect. The two rolls we enjoyed were tasty and the presentation was very clean. The Highlander had a little heat and good flavor. The Panda Roll was something new for us. The protein in the roll was Katsu Chicken. It was a fun change and I love Katsu Chicken. The house made potato salad definitely had Japanese flavors. It was an interesting change. Our server Josh was great! Very attentive and helpful. This was a great first time out to Yokoso. We'll be back! Two small criticisms, the print on the menus is quite small and they do not have Diet Coke. Other than those two small things we really enjoyed our visit. The restaurant business is challenging. We wish Yokoso great success!

This is definitely a no-frills, order at the counter and get your own utensils type of place. The food here tastes how I would imagine a Korean auntie would make at home. The dinner boxes are loaded with a little bit of everything, and they are incredibly priced at about $15-$20 depending on the protein for a huge amount of food! I tried the spicy pork bulgogi and the spicy chicken dinner boxes. The spicy pork definitely has a kick if you can't do spice. After the spicy pork bulgogi, the spicy chicken tasted pretty mild if you're looking for something less spicy. I truly enjoyed everything in the dinner box and would definitely get it again. The spicy pork bulgogi kimbap ($10) is also delicious if you're looking for something a little lighter, and the portion will have you pretty stuffed. I got both types of tteokbokki (rice cake) that they have. Both were delicious, but my favorite dish is the creamy tteokbokki. Think Korean carbonara--creamy, chewy, and indulgent. Both are $10 each and you can't go wrong with either one if you're in the mood for tteokbokki. During my last meal here, I told them how much I enjoyed the food and the nice auntie came out to say hello. She was so sweet and even gave me a free ice cream! You can tell this is a family run eatery made with lots of care and pride. Give them a try the next time you're looking for some casual Korean food!

And please don't take this the wrong way, but the pricing is actually fantastic for the incredible experience you receive--especially when compared to so many other experiences that cost much more and deliver far less. From the moment you're greeted outside and escorted in, you're instantly transported into another world. With two servers dressed entirely in black, three executive chefs, and Chef Endo Raku at the helm, you quickly realize just how exclusive this experience is. With only six seats per service and just two services each night, the journey feels incredibly intimate from the start. Once seated, all expectations disappear as you're guided through a carefully crafted narrative explaining what to expect and highlighting the special ingredients that will be showcased throughout the evening. Somehow, it sets the bar even higher than you imagined. Every course is thoughtfully selected and meticulously prepared, with detailed explanations that enhance both the flavors and the overall experience. From start to finish, it was a mind-blowing exploration of aromas, flavors, textures, and some of the most fascinating plating I've ever seen. The menu offered an amazing balance of land, sea, and animal, featuring techniques that included steaming, serving raw, poaching, grilling, searing, smoking, and even some gelatinous preparations that completely blew our minds. The sake selection, spirits, and champagne offerings were equally impressive. Even the visit to the laboratory was an unforgettable experience. Keep in mind there are very strict--but completely fair--rules and requirements that help preserve the integrity of the dining experience. My only complaint? I was so captivated by the beauty of each presentation, the storytelling, and simply enjoying every bite that I forgot to take many photos and videos. That doesn't happen often, but in this case, the phone definitely did not eat first. Photo credit to my cousin!
