Came for the hot air balloon fest and that was a huge BUST!!! At least, the food was good here which, kinda made up for the cancellation of (actual) flying hot air balloons. Mesquite had their annual hot air balloon festival so, figured I'd drive out this way for that. I heard it gets crazy busy here so, came hours prior. So, what do you do while waiting; YOU EAT! Waitlist was an hour but, "fast" lol Order the margaritas = duh, it's in their name! And the taco salad ...that was STELLAR! If you've ever had El Pollo Loco taco salad with the fried tortilla as a bowl then this is the same gist. And portions were huuuuuuuuuge. My friend and I shared and STILL had leftovers! Empanadas were pretty good, too. Filled and I could drink the green sauce it came with. I appreciate the pickled onions to accompany the empanadas. I wanna say "I'll be back" but, when.... Had the flank steak fajitas. Service was good. Steak was excellent. Condiments, sour cream, guac was all good. No knocks. My only complaint is the price. 22 dollars for 4 oz worth of flank steak is pretty steep. read more

No specials for the fajitas like the last 2 times we went, so I had fish tacos, which were pretty dry and overcooked, and hubby had a pork chimichanga with green salsa which he said was good Waitress was ok. She checked on us a few times. Margaritas were all too sweet: raspberry and Mexican candy both. We'll probably try again. read more

In town to see some family and we decided to try this place out since it's relatively new. Not a very authentic Mexican restaurant but isn't horrible. I ordered the fajitas and the portions were solid, the quality was average. A little too salty and not enough seasoning. The tortillas were not great and the chips & salsa wasn't the best either. The best thing about our experience was our server, Chelsea, who was super nice and attentive. Always there to refill our drinks and help with anything we needed. read more

What a tasty and newly remodeled Mexican spot in CasaBlanca. We came in on a Sunday night around the time they opened - 4:00p. We got sat quite quick and were greeted by our server briefly after. She noted that she was a bit busy with a few tables before us and to bear with her. Although busy, her service never dwindled, she was quick to bring what was requested and a joy to interact with. For dinner we ordered the tres hermanas fajitas (great veggie option), three amigos enchiladas (chicken, beef and cheese) and a build your own combo plate with a shredded beef taco and beef tamale. Everything was tasty!!! I would absolutely recommend the fajitas, beef tamale and beef enchilada. Even their fideo soup + chicken tortilla soups - which come as a choice between soup or salad with the plates - and chips and salsa were delicious. For drinks we just ordered some beers and Rita's Classic mango margarita - you could definitely taste the alcohol and it's a huge serving for the price. Servings were large - all items came with rice, beans and etc. - we all had leftovers to take to go. I'd recommend this spot for those looking for some good and simple mexican bites while nearby. I can't say much about the ambiance inside as we dined outside, but inside looked well decorated, clean and bright. Drinks and dinner on the patio made for a perfect November night! Our server, John was very attentive with great customer service. I ordered the two item combo plate with chili relleno, and a cheese enchilada. Those items were pretty good, and the portions were large, although there was not enough sauce. My partner ordered the chili Relleno fajitas, which was a bit strange. The rice was delicious. The salsa was OK, it tasted more like pico de gallo. The one thing we both hated where the refried beans. They tasted like they were made with ham, the flavor was terrible. The flavored margaritas were way too sweet. We were here on Cinco de Mayo for a 4:30 reservation. It was not crazy busy yet, though mostly all the tables were full. Our waitress was super chill, not stressing over how crazy this night probably was. I was so impressed with attentive but very calm demeanor. She was excellent! I wish I remembered her name. We both got fajitas and they came out steaming hot, lots of veggies which I love, and the steak was super tender. A great night! Great food! I completely agree with Cheryl L.'s review. The night we went they had an NFL game on the TVs and we felt like we were eating dinner in the sports book. Then some obnoxious person came over the casino PA system and we couldn't even carry on a conversation at our table. The service was good. The ambiance didn't complement the menu or ethnicity at all. The booths, tables, carpet, and tile could have been a hospital cafeteria. The food was mediocre. Mesquite already has better Mexican restaurants than this effort by Casablanca. read more

Service is crap. First off I had reservations. When we were sat, nobody came to serve us. After watching table after table get sat, and get served 30 minutes went by I had to get up and walk out. This kind of discrimination of service is unacceptable. A waitress walking by us said she would be right with us 20 minutes after seated. When she came out of the kitchen she ignored us and started serving tables sat after us. Then just walked by us again. We got in right away, as it was still early in the serving hours. The atmosphere was good and not that load early in their hours of operation. The food was good and there was a lot of it. But they need to inform there servers of what is in there meats that they cook. My husband has an allergy to onions and we asked are server if anything had onions in it. She told us both that what he ordered didn't have onions in any of it. Come to find out that the braised pork was cooked with onions and the server didn't now about it. I know that some times onions are used but for the server to not know that is wrong. An if she was not sure on what was asked she should have went and asked the cooks, but she didn't. Tried this place for the first time, the shrimp fajitas were amazing! The bubble margarita(s) lol cant just have one! Are fantastic!! This new restaurant is a very nice looking place. It is bright and cheery. The staff members were all nice and service was good. The food was decent but should be called good Mexican-American cuisine. I only gave 3 stars because the price for the food is high. Our family of 4 had a bill of $100 before tax and tip! We only had 2 full dinners and an appetizer plus 2 deserts. On the plus side, the desserts are wonderful. We had churros and fried ice cream. The Casa Blanca remodeled their old cafe and that space now houses two new restaurants. Ritas and Fajitas is one of them. There isn't really any ambience. There are only a few booths. The rest of the seating is 2 and 4 tops that can be pushed together for larger parties. It's quite noisy. The food is presented nicely enough but lacks in quality and flavor. Our server was pleasant. I only saw one bus person and they ignored our dirty plates and empty chip and salsa bowl. We were very disappointed considering that the other two restaurants at Casa Blanca are very good. I must say the margaritas on the rocks are amazing. Prickly pear was my favorite. When it comes to the food, the mahi-mahi tacos are amazing the refried beans not so much very bland the rice is very bland but I definitely had great service. The ambience is a little bit loud and not quaint whatsoever if you like bright and busy, this is the place to come and eat.. Still would love to try the fajitas next time around. read more

We went to this restaurant for the first time. It was early on a Saturday night and we were lucky enough to get a table right away. The service was good, but not overly warm or friendly, except for the hostess, who sat us. He was very friendly. The ambience was loud and more like a sports bar. If that is the environment that you are looking for then this will work for you. There were no real colorful decorations, like I'm used to in a Mexican restaurant. It was very blah and cafeteria like, except for the holiday snowmen painted on the windows. The best part about it was the food except for one thing. Almost everything was loaded with onions. If you like onions, you will be very happy. I am not used to onions in my tacos or enchiladas. My husband got the pork taco, ground beef taco and an enchilada. Everything had onions in it. I got the chili relleno and enchilada. I would get them both again. The rice was OK, the fried beans were good and we enjoyed the tortilla soup... But could've used less onions....as could the salsa. They give you a nice generous bowl and the chips are nice and hardy! I couldn't stop eating them, but had to dip around the salsa to avoid all the onions. I guess you get the idea by now. My husband had the blackberry margarita and would definitely get it again. I had the margarita with the mini grand Marnier and definitely would get that again! THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MESQUITE, NV. Our group made a reservation and right off the bat we were asked what we wanted to drink only to have half of our table be able to place a drink order and the waitress had an already negative attitude. Then it took well over 30 minutes for those drinks to arrive and after we placed our food order not even half of our table got their food or they got food that was wrong or that they didn't order at all, I personally didn't get my food, had to ask for it and it came after everyone else in my party of done eating due to having to be made since it wasn't made in the first place. To top it all off because it came so late and they had to make it because it was forgotten about it was extremely hot and I had plan to share that dish with my 2 year old toddler who then had not had the chance to eat since it was so hot. I will NEVER be back and you should really hire better servers, people at least deserve a smiling face being that gratuity is already added on the bill automatically. read more

We were a table of 6 I myself was so looking forward to trying the food here reviews were good when they first opened and I love mexican cuisine but the food was just meh and it wasn't just me that is what everyone at our table of 6 pretty much said....I liked the salsa but if you like a kick and spice you may not like it it's very mild which I prefer....Multiple people at our table had complaints about to much cilantro in their food....We were given no straws and napkins asked multiple times it took multiple times asking and when we all got our food no one had silverware like we could not eat we had to call our server over and ask for silverware.....It wasn't until we left we realized 5 of us never were asked or got the soup or salad that was supposed to come with our meals it said so on the menu....I don't remember our servers name which may be good for him because he was not a good server friendly but not good serving us that's for sure.....We also waited 45 minutes to be seated......We all ordered different things from the menu fajitas burritos fish tacos and 3 different combination plates so it was quite a variety of meh items....I'm going to give this place one more try to see if it was an off night so I'm hoping they can redeem themselves........Disappointed 6 customers...I myself thought the place was drab and needed color and that mexican ambiance but everyone said if the food was great that's what mattered well it wasn't.... read more
