This is a LARGE facility with plenty of space and multiple rigs. I also got to try out their brand new concept 2 bike ergs for one of the workouts. Signing up ahead of time was easy on their website, paid and signed the waiver before showing up. They had an amazing oly area! Little do they know, everything they had helped immensely. It was my first time in the 12 weeks I'd been training that I had access to kilo plates. On top of that, when I got back home and competed the following weekend, my confidence was through the roof and I ended up placing first in my meet. All in all, dropping in here was a blessing in disguise! Can't wait to drop in again next time I'm in town.

I toured the facility yesterday and joined up. The main focus of Movement is the rock-climbing area, which I have a beginners class scheduled on Friday. You can rent the shoes, harness and whatever else needed for rock climbing. I'm venturing into uncharted waters. When you're a member you have access to all 10,000 plus square feet of this place; including the fitness classes. I took a HIIT class Monday night that was 30 minutes long, 2 minutes on each station. Then another 30 minutes focusing on abs and core stuff. Great workout and a I can feel I'll tone up more with HIIT than just with running and Pilates alone. After the class I spent some time on a treadmill then called it a day. I am super excited to try the rock climbing so I will be sure to update as I go. So far: it's on the cheap, they have something for everyone. Very clean facilities. Fully loaded locker rooms with a hot sauna and showers. Great hours. Friendly staff. Plenty of parking. I am so happy I noticed this building driving by this past weekend. This gym will help to get my fitness level further along.

After class, Rachel gave us a tour of the facility and was incredibly welcoming and friendly, just like the rest of the staff. The gym itself is beautiful, modern, and exceptionally clean. I especially loved the white and tan interior design--it creates a bright, upscale atmosphere. The women's locker room is impressive, featuring lockers for personal belongings, a sauna, and a cold plunge. There are also convenient water refill stations throughout the gym. One of the most unique features is the slide, which definitely adds some personality and fun to the space! There's also an outdoor workout area in the corner for anyone who prefers exercising outside. Overall, Recess offers a great combination of high-quality fitness classes, excellent amenities, and a welcoming community. I would definitely recommend checking it out.

I am in town for a short period of time and wanted a good safe environment to workout at. This place exceeded my expectations. Not only are they super safe with all COVID procedures right now, but they also were very flexible with my work schedule and figuring out a membership that works for me. A stand out about this gym is that they are very knowledgable about the body and are good about monitoring form, while not being overbearing. I also like that the classes are filled with a variety of skill levels. It always feels competitive but not overwhelming. Becca is one of the best coaches I've ever had. We were here visiting family and this is where they work out. And boy, it feels like home. Maybe it's that this originated in my home state, or just the most welcoming environment, but I loved it so much! Super nice box with all the gear and then some.
