I believe all members should be treated with the same level of respect and professionalism, regardless of their race or appearance. While this may not have been the associate's intention, the experience left a negative impression and is something management should address through staff training and awareness.

I have taken a variety of classes with Kolleen, Sara, and Matt and every class is scalable regardless of where you might be in your fitness journey. There is help and encouragement when you need it, and the environment makes you want to come back and workout again, and again. In terms of cleanliness, Core 57 is a 10/10. I have yet to see dust on anything. Cleaning spray bottles and towels are provided to every member during the class and cleaning is required after each use of equipment and announced by the trainers. It is a small group setting (personal training is offered and classes have 4 members to 12 members depending on the class), so I feel comfortable working out even during a pandemic. There are also restrooms and 2 showers available in case you might need to get ready post workout. This is not the kind of gym where you walk on the treadmill for an hour and blindly figure out what equipment to use. If you're looking for a big box gym for $29 a month, this is also not the place for you.
