On Wednesday May 27 around 12:15 PM, my girlfriend and I had the worst customer experience at D2. We both went in with our face masks and had our patient ID's at the ready. They quickly checked my girlfriend in and I stepped aside because I was looking over their menu. I tried looking at the online menu on my phone, but I had poor reception. Moments later one of their employees aggressively waved me over to the front desk. In a less than professional tone he asked me what I was doing and why. I explained to him that I was looking over their menu options and needed just a little more time. He abruptly interrupted and exclaimed that if I wasn't getting anything he was going to kick me and my girlfriend out. I had done nothing to provoke such animosity. I immediately decided to step out and wait in the parking lot for my girlfriend to finish her order. I was not going to settle or let him pressure me into making a purchase. About ten minutes later my girlfriend comes out just as irritated as I was . I asked her what happed. Apparently shortly after I left, their security guard came into the lobby and started to question my girlfriend. They asked to see her patient ID but the front receptionist had already taken it. They later said that her patient ID was invalid. Her patient ID is good for TWO years! Turns out they just needed to update her card in their system. After her interrogation was over she was able to make her purchase and get out. Even after they verified her card the employee who questioned me continued to intimidate her and aggressively watch her until she left the lobby. My girlfriend and I aren't regulars at D2 but we do have valid patient cards and have generally had great experiences in the past. I've seen their employees do great work and give great recommendations. Never have I seen or experienced an employee yelling and threatening someone. Lately both Downtown and D2 have fallen short in both quality in product and quality in customer service. My purchases from Downtown/D2 have been regrettable. They don't rotate their edibles and their flower lately is mid tier at best. We are in the midst of a pandemic and they're taking advantage because they have a product many of us want/need. Where is the humanity in that? I've stood in line at other dispensaries and shared my experiences of Downtown and many other patients are having issues with Downtown/D2 as well. We understand this crisis is hard on businesses but when you stop offering any deals and only offer a handful of low quality options, while other dispensaries such as Prime Leaf are able to keep a full variety of stock, it's time to rethink your business. Every year our local dispensaries compete for top dispensary in Tucson/AZ...Downtown does not deserve to be a contestant. You guys have fallen so hard and have a lot of work to do. I would rather wait twenty minutes in the sun at Prime Leaf than wait in the lobby at D2 only to be discriminated against and yelled at. Wake up Downtown. Great place for anyone new in town. They welcomed me in, checked ID's and led me to a kiosk menu that allowed me to pick exactly what I needed from their "Sale" tab. I got two carts and a new batt/charger that will serve me until I fly home. I placed my order and waited until I was served at the window by a lovely budtender named Jazz, who hooked me up with the discounts and verified with me the products were correct and what I was looking for. Luckily for me, they have recreational discounts on Sun-Mon-Tues. All the products I bought all included a warranty as well since it was their house brand, any probs (in which I've had none whatsoever) would be solved by just bringing the defective product in for replacement. Everything went smoothly, and I noticed they had a pretty consistent group of medical clientele flowing in thru the door and into the back room area only for patients. The only reason I can't give this 5 stars is because on their website they have a promotion for the "alt thirty six" method of payment that is being falsy advertised. The promo is $10 credit for first time users. So i signed up for it and was told at the window that the promo is no longer active. I told them their website is still reflecting it and it was the only reason why I signed up for it and came in that day. Friday July 21, 9:40 PM. I ordered an Uber to the D2 dispensary on the east side of town unfortunately while waiting in line my Ubers car broke down. two top flight security guards started letting people go in front of me in line and told me if my Ubers car wont start I would have to leave and be refused service. i asked him if I can walk to the window and still get my medication. he told me I cannot go through the drive through without a vehicle. mind you they close in the next 5 minutes he said if the vehicle can start running again before 10PM he would let me get back in line. the Uber driver gets his car running again so we get back in line. I finally make it to the window where I asked to speak with a manager about the customer service and how I was treated while waiting in line while the car broke down. this lady refused to let me buy my medicine after everything I went through. she had no customer service at all. she even took my money and gave it back to me and told me to leave i felt targeted because I have face tattoos and she made me feel like I wasn't welcomed at all like my money was no good at all. Thank god for hiring Mari! a manager I spoke with today who made me feel like a customer should! super understanding and genuine she is what customer service should look and sound like! because of Mari I'll be back! she turned my whole mood around! shout out to mari she deserves all the praise. read more

Went in yesterday. On Valentine's Day, wasn't a long wait at all. Got into good dispensary section. And was told to wait for a minute. By the budtender, He came back after. A couple minutes. I informed him. I was looking for Indica flower. He gave me a sheet of paper. I told him I like to look at the actual flower. And smell it to decide which one. In other words I like to see and smell all indica flower available. Finally with reluctance. He held out a jar of product over the high counter and I went to grab it. He would not let go. I couldn't really see it or smell it over the high counter by the cash register. I got the point that he did not want to deal with me. So I walked out. I will not be returning I need positive helpful attitudes from budtenders. When I'm there to spend a lot of my money. . I should have known better than to try D2 again. I'm so disappointed with them. They sent out tons of alerts that they now take credit cards. When I got there a sign stated they are only taking visa credit cards which was fine. After waiting, placing my order they then told me there credit card machine hasn't been working for almost a week. Really!? They tried there cc Machine and it worked... They told me my total but charged me an extra $4 to use my card! I was outraged since no one said a word about the additional charge. Horrible dispensary. Left me waiting over an hour on a sale day then tried to make me feel bad saying, "you should be understanding that we're busy today". NO, you should be understanding that if you run a business with a sale, it is YOUR responsibility to ensure the staffing to handle customers. They left in on-line customers before serving the waiting room. They don't even pre-make up those on-line orders, just let those people go first without any consideration whatsoever to paying customers sitting in the lobby. After a long day of work and already being in pain, waiting for an hour is outrageous. Then to be insulted by the staff.
