Juan at JS Automotive was one of the only ones to pick up and would at least diagnosis the issue that day. I called everyone I could find and most said next week or next month or no call back. When we arrive, it was as promised. They immediately checked the issue and found the problem. Luckly parts were locally available that day. JS Automotive fixed it that day and we were able to continue our trip. From the outside the shop doesn't look like much and is situated in an alleyway. The guys at JS Automotive were great. From a pricing standpoint, they prices were what I would expect from any mechanic.

Headed south and into independence, the turbo on my 06 Chevy duramax went south in a huge way. AAA couldn't help in the area so I reached out to Britt's in Bishop as they had great reviews. They gave me the number of a heavy hauler and help me get the tow lined up super fast which was huge. They were great with communication that it would take a week or so to get to it which was totally fine as we had another ride home and I knew it wasn't going to be a simple fix. They helped me with storing the RV while the work was being done. They ended up having to completely replace the turbo, some lines and hoses and a few other small things. Also noticed that my frion was a little low and with the hot drive home, topped it off for me. This isn't a quick or easy job on this truck and the attention to detail showed in the end result. I nervously hitched up the RV after they finished and headed 200 miles south in 105 heat and she runs like brand new again. The entire crew there was super helpful and nice throughout the entire process. Moral of the story, if you're in the area at all and need help you can trust, Not only are they the best but probably the only ones with the combo of knowledge, a massive and impressive shop, friendly peeps and great pricing.
