This is what they want to charge people $40 to park

Decided to give this place another shot. Luckily found outside parking again This security guard Tony already had better vibes, laughing & joking with us while still thoroughly checking us. Got there and it was empty but that was our point so we could get seating. There were complimentary drinks going from 7 pm to 10 pm with well drinks! Our server was also the bartender (Jess) and let me tell you she really took care of us. She kept the drinks coming. Nothing was watered down. She was attentive and a sweetheart. Tip your bartenders ! We got the wings with da cave secret sauce. The wings were fresh, crispy and the sauce definitely was a good choice. The oxtail empanadas are everything everyone else says so yes do believe the hype. The Mac & cheese, bbq egg rolls were very delicious as well. The kitchen definitely knows what they doing! Smoked hookah and even though they didn't have much of what they promoted it was smooth and hit. Glad I tried it again

    Breakfast chicken tacos, yummy.

First timer and was looking forward to going but I was thrown off with the parking situation. $40 Vip, $30 to park in strip mall front parking spots, $20 to self park behind the Pawn Shop. These prices are truly ridiculous, very discouraging. As if it's a South Beach club venue. Smh...parking cost definitely disgusted me. Bring extra money because valet prices change. Carpool if you can or Uber. It's located in a small strip mall plaza and they have taken over the few parking spots. 2 businesses have signage identifying parking for their customers and another put chairs to prevent parking. That is definitely understandable. The lot behind the Pawn Shop is where patrons previously would park for free, but not no mo!! Security meets you at the entrance and checks your bag and person with no mask of course. Best to make reservations because the host is not going to problem solve. She said seating was full, but I could wait at the bar. As we stood and looked around there is limited seating but 2 tables were open. After asking her about the open tables she advised they were reserved and reservations are held for 15 minutes after appointed time. Well as I went to get a refund on my parking, my friend had me return because her friend was able to get us seated. Clearly, if you know the right person tables come available. We finally ordered: 1 shrimp and grits and 2 breakfast chicken tacos. The menu is very limited. Both platters were good but small portions. 4 shrimp with 3 calamari rings and a bowl of grits with cheese on top of the grits; it wasn'thot just barely warm. Its not the standard shrimp and grits that's covered with gravy, nope. The tacos were good as well however, you can't request any items to be left off. My friend asked for the salsa to be placed on the side well that was refused. All fried foods are fried in the same fryer, no good for those with seafood allergies. Well my friend had a reaction, she asked for the manager and explained that the menu does not state that fried food are cooked in the same fryer in case of any food allergies. It's reasonable to provide that information so patrons can be informed. Well the manager was not apologetic nor sympathetic. He said she should have asked, offered her fruits, and left. Where's the care for your customers? Any who, the waitress "Reina" made up for it by understanding my friend's situation and got her some benadryl. That was truly appreciated. They offer unlimited mimosas with different flavors , but they were a bit too sweet for me. Cost is on the high end when compared to other venues that offer unlimited mimosas. It ends at 4pm. It's a bit dark so you really can't see everything that's in your meal. If you need to see your meal use your flashlight. There are no prices on the food menu so you have to ask the server if you're budgeting. I'm glad to see new businesses in the community but it's definitely not a spot for regular visits. Definitely a day party, turn up, club vibe. I supported a local business so I did my part. I wouldn't go for brunch again, but would go for the music and a drink.

I've been to Da Cave several times during the week for Happy Hour, R&B Thursday, and other days. But this was my first time trying their brunch. Any great brunch should start off with bottomless mimosas and Da Cave did not disappoint. There were a few fruity variations and I decided to go with the pineapple passionfruit mimosa (it was so good!). The waitress made sure that our glasses were filled. I love getting chicken and waffle for brunch so I decided to try the lobster and waffle. Since the kitchen did not have waffles, it was substituted for brioche French toast. The lobster was fried to perfection and seasoned well. It was pretty tasty. My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and she loved it. It was full of flavor and filling. I then ordered the mahi tacos with French fries and that's always tasty. If you are in south Florida, you should definitely try this place out.

After a not so pleasant first time experience my friend and I decided to come back and give it another try. First off if you're a lady sandals with no backs aren't allowed for entry even though there's nothing about a dress code on their site. Thankfully after a long back and forth I was allowed in. Temp checks upon entry which was great. Able to get a table with no minimum which was great in regards to our previous experience ( No table or reservation= no point in being there.) Our bartender Sherelle was great. Pineapple Express and jalapeño martini were both bangers on the menu and will have you feeling great. The atmosphere is inviting and a good time. I would return only if there was some kind of happy hour in the day time.

This is not a big of a waffle come on

Smh I'm too hungry for this. U can't serve a small waffle it needs to be a decent size at least . I'm disappointed

We had drinks at the bar while we waited for our reservation at Reunion Ktchn. We were immediately greeted by Rafel, the handsome, energy filled bartender. He heard it was our first time there and was excited to recommend the best drinks. The ginger margarita was an instant hit for me. It was packed with incredible flavor and garnished with little candied ginger. The smoked old fashion was absolutely delicious. I do plan on returning for the peaking duck ( which was completely sold out!) and blue crab rangoons. Reservations are recommended due to the small size of the restaurant. 5 stars!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST CHINESE FOOD WE'VE EVER HAD. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT LIKE A PLAGUE…read more We made Christmas reservations at XINO in Aventura with my son and sister expecting the "superb" Chinese food we were told about. What we experienced was shockingly bad. Appetizers & rice: The egg rolls were drenched in grease -- if you poured more grease on them they still wouldn't be any more edible. The chicken fried rice was poorly executed: large, unappealing clumps and what looked like pieces of fried chicken tossed in rather than properly mixed -- it was unacceptable. Entrees: We ordered two high-end beef dishes (one described as beef with noodles and mushrooms). That beef-and-noodle plate had decent-flavored beef, but the portion was tiny -- more appetizer-sized than an entrée -- and the noodles and mushrooms were essentially missing despite searching the plate. The other beef dish was just fair. We also ordered grilled salmon and a couple of other dishes I can't recall; overall nothing redeemed the meal. Service & cleanliness: The waiter with the beard took our order and then disappeared. We literally could not find him. We had to flag down staff repeatedly for basic needs. Tables weren't cleared promptly, dishes were left piled up, and dropped food wasn't handled. Getting the check was nearly impossible. Summary: This was literally one of the worst Chinese meals any of us have had. Between the greasy, poorly prepared food and inattentive service, I strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant -- and especially avoid being served by the bearded waiter.

Once I found the elevator, Kaiju was clearly labeled there tho. The entire bar is dark and has cool red lights all around. We went to the bar to get seated and were led to an open table for our group. Our waiter immediately filled our water glasses and brought the menu. The menu is super cool because each drink is presented as a Pokémon card. There's a lot of info especially on how they compare to classic cocktails. Everything on the menu looked good so my friends and I got a bunch of different drinks. Some of my favorites were the Rodan, Guije, and the pandan drink (I forgot the name). This is a fun, trendy bar with delicious drinks and solid service. It's totally worth checking out. First, I love the theming. Kaiju is Japanese for "movie monster." Ever seen Pacific Rim (2013)? The logo looks like a rough outline of Godzilla. The menu is designed to look like Japanese monster (e.g., Pokemon) trading card books. Each cocktail has its own card art, stats, and tasting notes. Neat. And the vibe of the place is like - I don't know - Japanese neon Blade Runner. It's cool. The four of us got a variety of drinks and were welcomed to our table with complimentary shots. I had the Guije cocktail which cost $24 after tax and tip. Yes, that's the one thing about this place - the drinks aren't cheap. Tasting notes: "Guije is a savory, tropical, and funky cocktail featuring Chairman's Reserve Rum spiced with Mojo Criollo, offering hints of bay leaf, pepper and garlic. Along with fresh mango, lime, Maduro, to round out the robust yet tropical flavors." It was strong, refreshing, and fantastic. All of our drinks were presented beautifully too. My wife thought she left her wallet here. The next day, I DMed @bar_kaiju on Instagram and they got back to me in less than a couple hours. Whoever got back to me was responsive and kind. (Luckily, the wallet turned up elsewhere, but their help was appreciated.) Bar Kaiju is located on the 2nd floor (mezzanine level) of the Citadel food hall. It opened in December 2022. I found out after the fact that they were ranked #77 on the "North America's 50 Best Bars" extended list in 2025.
