Best food I had in all of southern Italy by far. Such a beautiful mom and pop experience. Felt super authentic and the cuisine matched. They picked us up via shuttle from our hotel by the coast and drove us all the way back after dinner. Awesome experience all around.

    View from our table.

Such a great find in Positano. The most beautiful view and one of our favorite dinners from our whole trip!

Best pizza in Positano. It was an absolute treat the view is not bad either.

Amazing place for a quick bite or a romantic dinner. Food is amazing, could be the best pizza in Positano.

Our private driver took us to this restaurant on our tour of the Amalfi Coast. The food was authentic and delicious. It was one of the best meals we had on our trip. The views were breathtaking. Service was fantastic. Owner was very friendly. We will be back.

We met up with the restaurant van driver at our hotel and he agreed to transport us to the restaurant free of charge, even though we hadn't made reservations. The driver was hilarious and we enjoyed listening to him give an earful to a woman that thought she owned the mountain road we were supposed to be sharing. (Really, he was one of the major highlights of our trip!) The pizza margherita was delicious and there was a beautiful view--see photos. Prices reasonable. We thought we would have to find our way back to the hotel but no--the driver delivered us back to the hotel.

Wonderful experience for dinner at Da Costantino! For starters, they are located at one of the high points in Positano and have free shuttle service from your hotel to the restaurant. Michael was our driver and he was so kind and accommodating. Once we arrived, we were seated next to the windows where the view of Positano is simply breathtaking. Now for the food: everything came out super hot and fresh. Our favorite dish hands down was the Manicaretto fatto in casa. Something about the handmade pasta with ricotta and mozzarella made this dish unforgettable. We finished the night off with the lemon cake and the ricotta cheesecake. Delicious! The house red wine was also tasty and the service was great. This is day 2 of our 9 day stay...I hope we have time to visit again before we leave.

This place has the most amazing view of the Amalfi Coast. It's worth the drive up the hill away from a lot of tourist spots. The waiters are really friendly and helpful and food was delicious! I had the grilled prawns, they were super sweet and fresh. My kids had the seafood pasta that was also good. Would come back here again.

An early lunch in Positano at Da Costantino was one of our stand out meals during our trip. The views and the meal were both memorable. Loved the Vongole. The owners and staff were just incredible. I highly recommend. Get a table right by the windows. We arrived right before lunch started. Buon Appetito!

    Pizza Diavola was excellent!

Breathtaking views above iit all. A bit out of the way, but they offered free shuttle service to/from our hotel, so we were in! I had the Scialatielli all Constantino - pasta with fried eggplant, tomatoes and mozzarella, and it was delicious. My husband had the Diavolo pizza w/ spicy salami - very good, the wood-fired crust was delicious. And my daughter had the gnocchi alla Sorrentino w/ tomato sauce and mozzarella; she doesn't usually like gnocchi back home, but was a fan of this one! Reasonably priced; each under €20, and large carafe of red house wine just €18. Nice night!

Amazing pizza, great wine, and absolutely spectacular views!! Our driver took us here from our cruise. It alone was worth the trip!

Da Costantino operates a free shuttle service delivering people from their hotels to the restaurant and back again. I had visions of an off-the-beaten-path gem of a restaurant, perhaps a real under-the-radar locals place. What was I thinking? This is (almost) high-season Poistano. Shuttle service is prompt both to and from Da Costantino. A couple from Arkansas was already in the van when I got in. Another couple, this time from Michigan, was picked up along the way. (Positano tourism, I learned, is about 80% American). We arrived at the large restaurant, high up on a hillside, with gorgeous water views but none of the vibe I was expecting. The greeting and service were perfunctory at best; the food good but unremarkable for someone who just left Naples. The couple from Michigan had said that a friend had raved about the place, insisting they go there but when all of us got back in the van we'd each reached the same conclusion. Nobody was raving about the place or their meal. I thought how different the experience might have been had the staff exuded any sort of warm and welcoming hospitality but they hadn't. It was apparent that the pasta here is homemade and that alone proved compelling. The linguine had a chewy freshness different from all of the other (also good) linguine I sampled. Good food, efficient shuttle, great views but Da Costantino is churning tourists through the doors and seems to have forgotten that a warm welcome and friendly service is something that is necessary to turn a dining experience from run-of-the-mill into memorable.

Marinara ouzza had a delicious sauce

Lovely meal here. I would agree with other psorive reviews. The diavola pizza was divine. Seriously one of the best if not the best, certainly for taste I think I might have ever had, and I eat a lot of pizza... I had the lemon parmesan fish, it was very tasty and coped just right. Crsut was maybe a little rough but I'm being nit picky. The marinara pizza had a lovely garlicy tomato sauce that was perfectly sweet... Really nice... It's not so easy to make that pizza well. I'd be going here anytime I'm in town.

Worth every one of the 80 flights of stairs we took to get here! Yelp reviews did not steer us wrong despite our naïveté in deciding we would simply walk here from the beach! We ordered the Margherita pizza, the Manicotti, and the grilled daily fish - all were phenomenal in quality and taste! Superior views of the coastline of Positano. Highly recommend!

This was our first meal after arriving in Positano and we couldn't have asked for a better one. We arrived in Positano around 10 PM on a Saturday night. This restaurant was on our itinerary and was a 2 minute walk from our hotel. We walked up around 10:30 and they sat us immediately on the outdoor patio. We ordered grilled octopus to start and it might have been the freshest and tastiest grilled octopus I've ever eaten. We also ordered a spicy green sauce pasta that was top 3 best things we ate on our entire trip. I wish I knew the name of it so that I could mention it here. We also ordered a prosciutto and burrata pizza. My wife isn't a huge fan of prosciutto so she didn't enjoy it as much as I did. But I would happily eat that pizza again and again. The staff were very kind and friendly. They didn't ever seem annoyed that we came in later at night. Every day that we walked past them to go into the main center of Positano, they smiled and invited us back in or asked how we were doing. They don't have the same view that other restaurants might have, but what they lack in a view, they make up for in quality and service.

Overall quite delicious and they said they had the "best pizza" and would have to agree with that statement, is likely best in Positano. Service was always friendly to us. We came back twice during our most recent trip. The seafood pasta and the chicken with potatoes are all fine options. It is a bit on the pricier side and there is a cover fee for the service added to your tab.

I must say, the environment was fancy, the decorations - pleasant to behold, and the view - stunning. However, the primary roots of my two out of five stars comes with the attentiveness of the servers and the portion size of the food. The Caprese salad was wonderful, the tomatoes were well seasoned and the buffalo mozzarella was very delicious. The bread that they served was also soft, fluffy, and yummy. Our entrées consisted of pasta, Seabass, and red mullet, after waiting 30 minutes for our entrées we were shocked to behold that not much food was given, and we were left feeling hungrier than when we had arrived. The red mullet fillet was perhaps 1 ounce and came with four individual muscles, enough to satisfy a mouse or perhaps a small Chihuahua. The Seabass fillets were substantial, however, they were paired with two thin slices of zucchini, and four small individual russet potatoes, again enough for a camping portion when you are in the mountains. The pasta was good though! All in all, although the servers were nice, we did have to wait quite some time to be served and to receive the check, the food was good tasting, but the portion sizes diminished the experience and left us hungry. Hungry enough, perhaps, to purchase four full-size pizzas immediately after leaving this establishment. Which we did. Because we were still hungry, and this is not to add to the typical stereotype that Americans eat a ton of food, just the entrées were quite puny and the price point was high enough to set our expectations very high. This is a long review, and I would like for it to be communicated that this is purely not harsh feedback but rather constructive criticism based upon our experience. I bid you farewell and good day!

Praise for their delicious melon sorbet made with real melon!…read more After lunch I was craving a little something sweet and Collina looked swarming with customers on a warm spring afternoon, so I peeked in. The cafe is very small, with a counter inside the left entrance for gelato and sorbetto, a larger counter and display case of pastries along the wall inside the right entrance. Seems to be a handful of seats upstairs accessible by a narrow staircase though they looked to be cordoned off that moment. Gelato prices ranged from €3 for a small, single flavor to €5 for medium, €8 for large, €12 for maxi which I'm not quite sure how many scoops that was. The prices were the most reasonable that I saw along the Amalfi Coast in a few towns. After checking out the flavor selection I decided to go with a light sorbetto in melon and it was yummy! It tasted like if really ripe cantaloupe were made into a super smooth smoothie lol. They carried the popular sorbetto al limone (lemon sorbet in a lemon) for €10 too, though in general I heard mixed reviews about this item being overpriced. They offer a bunch of lunch-suitable menu items like simple paninis, pasta, salads and burgers; also some cocktails for €12-13-including an enticing Positano Spritz concocted of prosecco, limoncello, soda, fresh lemon zest. Pastries looked good too though the weather was a little warm for more sweets--their tiramisu cups, cookies, mini tarts and eclairs all looked like solid choices if you're in the mood.
