Cute cafe. Coffee and a croissant were exactly what I was looking for and would def recommend this cafe. Coffee was fresh and croissant was fresh and flaky. Give this place a try. Guy who took our order was friendly and professional.

Attended a class in the hotel and we would stop here for some quick coffee to go. It's a cute little cafe at the bottom of the Outrigger by Alana hotel, their breakfast french toast and burritos and avocado toast looked yummy!

***Located inside the DoubleTree by Hilton*** This cafe was awesome !!!! Straight off the bat ... the owner was sooo hospitable and so helpful in helping me pick ... LOVE LOVE LOVE the uniqueness in their menu ... I enjoy not to have to pick what to put in my drink .. I just want something that is pre done and recommended ... With that said did the coconut mocha and if you enjoy the taste of coconut milk this is your drink ... The surfers soufflé was a take on French toast .. very delicious .... Recommended for sure

Fabulous gluten free açai bowl. The server subbed the granola for sliced almonds. Highly recommend!

I came here on my way to the airport. Tourist area, hotel building - I wasn't expecting much from this place. I was so wrong! My husband and I had a spinach bagel and breakfast burrito. So delicious! French ingredients, freshly made. Place was clean, friendly staff. Strongly recommend this place!

Holy moly! The Surfers Soufflé was freaking amazing. Hands down the best meal of our vacation. Only wish we would have discovered it sooner so we could have dined there more than once.

Came here for breakfast before heading out of town. Very welcoming staff. Helpful with choosing menu items. Decor is pleasant. Food was delicious!

We've explored so many spots in HNL over the decades of loving the area. One particular restaurant that we have come back to year after year is Hiking Hawaii Cafe. Its close walking distance proximity to the Hilton Hawaiian Village is so convenient for a great meal away from the resort. One of the big reasons we have loved Hiking Hawaii is its wide variety of offerings for all tastes and appetites. From bowls to pizza to wraps and salads, HH has got you covered. Every single item that we've tried has been so reliably delicious. My kids particularly love the bagel sandwiches and other breakfast offerings. And one of the most amazing breakfast items is the Surfer's Souffle. This is like french toast on steroids! It is simply amazing and a must try. And let's not forget that HH also excels at smoothies and a whole variety of hot & cold drinks. I personally love the Mexican Hot Choco Latte! All of the tasty goodness offered by HH is further complemented by truly amazing hospitality from the owner Matt down to all of his staff. We simply feel so welcomed at Hiking Hawaii Cafe. And because of this, we will always be coming back here!

I first stopped in here earlier on my vacation to grab a coffee after my morning workout and fell in love with the coffee it was delicious and affordable. Today we came in to try their breakfast and it was so worth it. The service is super friendly (except for not giving me the French Toast Recipe ). I love the casual vibe of taking it easy. I'm going to miss this small slice of heaven tucked downstairs from the Double Tree).

My fellow Vegan Yelpers... UPDATE!!! Whomever said there are Vegan options, probably meant Vegetarian, because other than the acai bowls and smothies, there was nothing offered or suggestions given for vegan offerings. They can definitely help you with hiking information... but we we really wanted some ono vegan food... at least the refreshing vegan-friendly acai bows and great granola were available... on the pricy side though! Afterwards, we went looking for something warm and savory!

Hand comparison of the generous amount of granola they give with the acai bowl!

Well, I'm back in town for a conference, and came back to one of our favorite places to eat-- Hiking hawaii cafe! I have been here 3x on this visit 2025, and have ordered their Napa panini, summit acai bowl, coco mocha coffee, and smoothies. This time I ordered their Napa panini, and acai with the granola on the side. I really love the flavor of the granola and just the purity of the acai when eaten separately. They are all very friendly, and the food waiting time was fine. (They have a sign saying if you are in a hurry, you might want to look elsewhere because they prepare their food as they are ordered.) I love this place and love coming back for more! Ambiance is cute, and DJ music is great. (Today I heard Drift Away in a reggae beat. Loved it!) Oh and lastly, the acai bowls are generous in size (see photos with my hand for comparison) and although the paninis might look small, they are quite filling!

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt like pure aloha -- warm smiles, island charm and good vibes. Whatever you are in the mood for (coffee, muffins, wraps, pizza, smoothies, fresh fruit, quick snacks)...it's all here. The staff made the experience even better -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they serve. I loved that they use fresh, local ingredients, which makes every bite taste like Hawaii itself. If you're in the area, don't miss this gem. It's the kind of place you want to come back to.

There's always a line, and with all the hype on IG, we finally decided to give it a try and brave the wait. We ordered the sesame latte, drip coffee, iced coffee, and hibiscus tea. TBH... it was just okayyy. Everything was good, but I'm not sure it was good enough that I'd personally want to wait in that long of a line for it. I got the sesame latte and, honestly, it was a little meh. I was expecting more of that sesame flavor, but I didn't really taste it. Others in our group felt the coffee was a little sour for their liking. That said, it could just be our personal coffee preferences/taste buds. There's clearly a reason why there's always a line, so I'm sure plenty of people love it -- it just might not be for everyone. If you're already in the area and don't mind waiting, definitely give it a try and see for yourself! Also, they have an online ordering option, which could be a good way to save some time if you don't want to stand in the line.

Food: 5/5 I was able to try several of their brunch items including their Ham & Cheese Croissant, their Turkey Pest Sandwich, and their Traditional Waffle. Almost all of them were a hit! I especially liked their Turkey Pesto. It paired beautifully with their salad. Their breakfast waffle was also light and fluffy and their fruit was fresh. Drinks: 5/5 I tried their many lattes, coffees, smoothies. Their açaí smoothie was not my favorite because it had a lot of unblended seeds. I did love their leans & green smoothie, it had so many fruits and greens in it, and it also tasted so good. Service: 5/5 This place had wonderful service. All of their servers were so kind and they explained their menu so well. The food and drinks came out pretty timely and everything was fresh to order. Ambiance: 5/5 This place is attached to the Outrigger Hotel so they share a cafe area with the pool. It was beautiful to be able to enjoy breakfast by the poolside. It was giving summer vibes outside. Inside their cafe was very tropical with plants everywhere.
