Good local spot in Whittier to pick up a cigar. Variety is good and it is very accessible

So I don't usually come to this smoke shop due to already having one that I'm familiar with & does not overcharge me or try to get by on me. With me being a new customer and quite frankly black i'm sure that was a good enough reason for him to up charge me. The first time I came. I had exactly 9 dollars in my hand. I got 3 grabba leaves, I asked "how much"? He looks directly at my hand and says "it's nine dollars". I thought that was a funny & specific "coincidence"( he never scanned the grabba leaves during either transaction) i paid and I left. I'm familiar with the price range been buying them for years. The second time I came, same thing. I asked "how much" he said nine dollars I asked him for my receipt that's when It was confirmed that he was charging me a made up PERSONAL PRICE and not the ACTUAL STORE price for the grabba leaf. He was even surprised that I asked for my receipt. He typed up random numbers for the receipt as you can see which doesn't list the PRODUCT & the CORRECT price. I won't go be going back & will be reporting to the BBB. Sad how these foreigners continue to come to OUR communities to ADD PERSONAL TAX & overcharged it's honestly sad & ridiculous and they should steal from inside their own communities's & neighborhoods. read more

Fake products, taxed too high, & "500 aka 50 puffs" and "2000 puffs more like 200" all of there products are from fake distributors that make knock offs. Do not buy from this fake spot! I saw an underage child buying cigarettes, both had no masks on and still made the transaction. Try's convincing me to buy pods that don't fit and out of package with saliva on em so when I asked if they were used I got attitude back and told em just that! This place is literally the WORST! I come here because they usually have the particular leaf i like to buy and it's close by my house BUT their business hours states 8pm and not once have I cone anytime past 7pm and it's been open!! That's super frustrating!! Just change the damn business hours or stop closing early cause it's pretty messed up to mislead people like that because you want to close up early whenever it's convenient! You get there just to catch somebody sleeping in the corner with all the enthusiasm of a rock once he sees you. I asked for a particular flavor and once I found out he didn't have it, I asked him if he had something similar. His response of "Sorry buddy, I can't help you. That's it." I see something similar and he proceeds to "cut me a deal" without the price even showing. Charged me price plus tax. Then runs the number on the card, and charges me another fee for the card. I've shopped here for months and not once was I ever charged this fee. He ran on contactless payment and when the receipt came up, he started hiding the amount until I asked him why isn't the total the same. He told me the fee. I told him I've never had that fee in months of shopping here. Then he tell me he should of charged me more because of deal. Made up some number making it seem like he gave me a deal in price which is why the fee was there. Told him that doesn't matter, you have no sign and you didn't tell me you'd charge me a fee. His response was "no refunds". There are other options in the city to avoid this stupid behavior and service. read more

Double, no triple check what you purchase when you go here. I bought a Yocan pen from these guys two weeks ago, not only did they remove the two extra coils it comes with, swapped out the pre-installed coil for a cheaper ceramic one, they also charged me $10 more than I could have got it directly from the manufacturer. I went in to ask about getting the original parts and the guy claimed I was getting hostile and wouldn't help me. When I left the store he walked out behind me and kept yelling at me to come back and tell me something, probably some BS excuse, I work in sales and I would never treat a customer like that even if I was having a bad day. I'll happily drive to another smoke shop to get proper service and prices and recommend the same for anyone else. 0/5 would never recommend to others. read more

So I usually go to a shop in Downey but I'm staying in Whittier this week and I needed a new puff bar. I parked in the back, I used to go to this shop years ago when I worked on Whittier so I knew the place had parking in the back. I got two and when I opened it I guess it had leaked. I went back in and told the guy it was defective. He had a sign that says all sales final no refunds so he didn't really have to swap it out. He buys them from the manufacturer, I get it. He didn't have to shake my hand and help me but he did. Thank you. He said he was the shop owner. I can't remember his name exactly but I appreciate the service. I'm born and raised in Whittier and my family has lived in Whittier for about 50 years. I respect honorable people doing business in my hometown. read more

Decent size shop with everything you can imagine from smoking accessories to novelty items. Pretty good prices but you can always haggle the people at smoke shops. Good quality glass pieces, lots of different kinds of incense but it doesn't matter because there is only one brand I buy which is Nag Champa. If you have never used it before and like incense I highly suggest buying some. I don't think they have the Nag Champa soap which I can only find at Venice Beach. Now that is an awesome smelling soap but expensive as hell. read more

This place is way too pricey and rude. I went in for some Kratom and they were charging four to five times as much as you can get online. Now I don't expect online prices but I would be willing to spend double what products cost if you go into shops. Only reason I went in was that I was waiting for my shipment which was 3-4 days out. When I told the guy that it was pricey he said he would take off $5 from a $40 tag that really should have been $10. I told him about my online prices and was going to even ask him if he would do $25 or even $30 for it but before I could do that he rudely interrupted and said, "Yeah, well that's online!" Been here several times. The people are nice, and I always find what I'm looking for. They have a pretty big selection of everything smoking related. I've gotten a pipe from them in the past and it was solid and lasted me a good long while (until I broke it, of course), and just recently got myself a water pipe for concentrates and it's just great.
