We were looking for a Landscape Designer who could create a new deck and patio as well as solve some serious drainage issues in our backyard. This brought us to Dabah Landscaping Designs. Designing our new backyard was easy. Pamela Dabah (owner of the company) came out to the house last fall, took many notes and came up with an initial design and proposal based on our wish list. Needless to say, our wish list did not match our budget. Pamela and Shannon were very good about modifying and re-drawing the plans many times until we had one, we liked and fell into our budget. When the work commenced this spring, we expected a 3-4-week job (which is what we were told), but issues began popping up everywhere. The drainage turned out to be a far bigger issue than any of us thought and the copious amount of rain this spring didn't help either. Our 3-4-week job quickly turned into a much longer project and at times we felt like our job was not the priority. There were days when only one person was working, or no one was working. The crew that works for Dabah Landscape Designs are fantastic, they were all very hard-working and talented craftsmen. After about 12 weeks, the job was finally finished, and we were extremely pleased with the results. There was some frustration along the way, but Pamela was very good at working through any issue that popped up and more importantly Pamela stands by her work. Since the job was completed anytime we had a question or needed something she was on it. We love our new deck and patio and are outside enjoying it as much as possible. Pamela and her team did a fantastic job with our home. She came by to meet with me and my wife to discuss what we were looking to do and pricing budget. After which she showed us her plans, which was within budget, and included pictures of all the plants she intended to use so we could have a better visual of the project. This was very helpful for new homeowners coming from the city. Our project was done in two stages (one in fall and one in the spring) and we couldn't be happier with the finished product. Dabah Landscape Designs did some work for us in August and September 2017. They cleared wild brush and stumps for installation of our new fencing. They also cleared out our overgrown stone parking area so that it is now usable and eye appealing. In addition, they repaired our stone patio and walkway, built a retaining wall and planted perennials. Overall, the work they did was outstanding and truly professional. It's rare these days to find someone that is knowledgeable, creative, honest and takes pride in the work that they do. Pamela returns all phone calls (also a rarity these days), and is very willing to work within your budget. When I find a contractor with integrity, I stick with them. I was more than happy with the work that she did (drainage problems, mulch, pruning, seeding and planting a tree) and would be quick to refer Dabah to anyone that is looking for landscaping work.
