From that point on communication from Window World was a bit lacking. I called them at least 2 times looking for a status, and each time the phone call concluded with a young lady saying "let me do some research and get back to you." Both of those calls were never returned. During the second week of July I contacted Lewis and let him know that we were hearing crickets from Window World. He advised that he would have the installation manager contact me the next day to give me a status report. The next day I received a call from the scheduling manager and she advised that our windows should be in on that day's truck. Long story short, we scheduled the installation for July 14th and 15th. On the morning of July 14th, the crew showed up 15 minutes early. That impressed me. They really seemed to be on the ball. Unfortunately, that momentum quickly faded as the day unfolded. Sometime around 10am the crew removed the three front windows in my living room. They replaced one and left the other two holes wide open for the rest of the day while they proceeded to change every other window in the house. They finally got back to the two gaping holes at about 4:30pm. (..By 3pm I had 10 million flies breeding in my living room and the temperature was a comfy 90 degrees..) I couldn't understand why they removed the three biggest windows in the house and then left the holes for two of them open while they changed every other window. I learned why later in the day. A very annoying part of the entire experience today was that the crew could not have cared less about closing gates. My backyard is set up with multiple gates to make sure that my dogs can't get near the street. Every time they went through any of the gates, they would leave them open. I even asked the foreman to ask his crew to make sure to close gates - because they didn't speak English - but this didn't help. Every time they went through a gate, they left it open. This happened repeatedly. Do none of them have family pets? The real kicker in all of this is that at 5:30pm I was told that the crew didn't have the correct window to fill the last gaping hole in my living room. I tried to call Lewis and went to voicemail. I tried to call Steve and went to voicemail. I called the Window World main office, and they promptly transferred me to...you guessed it...someone's voicemail. Not sure what to do now. Someone is supposed to call me back. On July 15th, after a few more calls, I finally received a return call from Window World and was told that they would need to re-order the missing window. It would take about a month "if we're lucky." I now have a 60" x 43" piece of 1/8" plywood in place of my front window. It hisses when the wind blows and I'm willing to bet it will leak if it rains. I've lived in New Mexico for 47 years and for the first time ever I'm praying that it doesn't rain. To anyone considering new windows in their home, please know that my wife and I are VERY much regretting our decision to go with Window World.

I told him the old screens were sent out in the trash all broken up but the other windows on the building are the same size. He said "get me the old screens and I'll replace them" as he's scurrying to his truck! I called him on the phone about the sash being all chiped up and the screens. He said "Don't call me again" then hung up on me. WOW! Don't recommend anyone ever doing business with this man...

Imagine my surprise when it rained and the leak returned. I had two window companies look at the window BEFORE the drywall was repaired and closed. Everybody said the existing window looked fine. They were wrong. Out of frustration I called Casey at Door and Window Company and he was kind enough to talk me through the issue to troubleshoot it over the phone. He decided to come take a look. It took him less than 10 minutes to discover that the leak was from coming from the window that was less than 10 years old. Not only that, but Casey also determined that the person who installed the window used the wrong window and that is why it was leaking. They installed a block frame window that was allowing water to seep right in. Casey immediately ordered a new window and came back to install it when it came in. From start to finish Casey was a pro who cares. He could have given me the same lip service the other two companies gave me but he went the extra mile to do the job correctly and I am grateful for people like Casey. Honest and professional.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY…read more Stay far away from this company. Sales guy Steven convinced my mom and I that they're the best option and that they would handle ANY problems they came across during installation. We agreed to pay nearly 15k for a very simple offering knowing that our peace of mind would be covered in case anything went wrong... New shower was installed in a day, which is what we asked for, but in retrospect they rushed the job. They came on July 3 and wanted to get to their vacation early. Anyways. I asked 3 times during the process if anything was wrong and was told everything's fine. Shower goes in, looks like what we ordered. We sign off and THEN the install lady confesses that they broke one of our floor tiles during the process. Had they would have just told us when it happened we could have provided a spare tile to swap out. Next day, upon closer inspection, we discovered major scratches on the top edges of the shower pan, and how inconsistent and sloppy of a silicone sealant job they did. The oil based silicone they used stays sticky for days, makes painting impossible, and comes off easy when you scrub it. Not the right material. We asked our sales guy to help to get someone out here to look at everything. THEY SENT THE SAME 2 PEOPLE WHO DID THE INSTALL TO CHECK THEIR OWN WORK. No higher up? No supervisor? They came with a little piece of transition material for the step out of the shower to HIDE the broken tile. Insulting. Why would they send the same people out to grade their own work? It went about how you'd imagine. Anyways, we were supposed to have some sort of solution proposed to us by end of day Friday July 11th. Today is Sat July 19 and we still haven't heard anything. The original documentation they emailed to my mom has a dead / expired link and she has asked our sales guy to resend the info a few times but guess what? Total ghost. She still doesn't have a contract for the work. This company's communication is that of a company who already knows they're going under. They must already know they're facing bankruptcy. Still waiting for some sort of resolution here weeks later. Worst communication of all time.
