I had a windshield replaced at their Eubank location and purchased a replacement window pane at their Altez location. They did a great job replacing the windshield, which was done quickly and without an appointment. I called ahead to make sure that a technician was available to cut my windowpane, (there was). I would highly recommend ASAP glass (Altez location) for home window repair. The sun had damaged the window trim and glazing stop on about 16 of our windows. I had made many calls throughout Albuquerque area with no luck until I found ASAP glass. I spoke with Crystal and she was so accommodating from the scheduling to the ordering of parts needed. I was very happy to be able to get the windows repaired within a few days. It was a really hot day and some of the windows were pretty high but the job was completed perfectly and the windows look brand new! They tell you only afterwards that they can't guarantee that the crack won't spread. Even worse, you can't even tell that they did anything. The crack appears just as large as before the repair. Completely disappointing. This is probably a scam. I have had other companies repair windshield crack that make the crack disappear This ain't it! Stay away! read more

We took a window frame to have a piece of glass cut for it. We paid cash and they cut the glass. When we went to the house to put it in we found the glass did not fit. We went back to ASAP and explained to the woman that there was a mistake and the glass did not fit the frame we gave them. The woman was not helpful at all. She refused to correct THEIR error unless we paid again! Why should we have to pay again? No explaination.. Do not use this place they do not stand by their work! read more

DO NOT COME HERE. I came to this business to have 2 window regulators installed and a window to be put back up, as I just found out that regulator is bad as well(not their fault). I needed the drivers side front and back. According to the receipt they did the front left and front right....the passenger window wasn't in need of service. When they called to confirm putting the back passenger window up, I said yes, but at no point did they inform me of the cost of this. I don't mind paying, obviously, but maybe let the customer know how much it's going to be so it's not a surprise when they go pick up their vehicle? The super rad part is that they broke my door. Super cool, I know. They said "they had to slam it when they closed it". Cool story, but it worked just fine when I dropped it off this morning. Now it won't close. The handle was placed back in the door to appear like it wasn't broken and when I went to shut the door it came off. I'm for sure not strong enough to break it off haha. So now, that super annoying sound when the door isn't shut right, has been going off for the entirety of my ride home. Yay. It's super sad they're so crappy, they supposedly work on picture cars for the tv/film industry. One star because they waited 10 minutes extra for me to come pick up my car. I got a cracked windshield and came here for replacement. When I was driving, my windshield was making a creaking sound, so we called and they said to give it a week for the glue to settle. It didn't get any better, so we took it in again, and all they did was add a bunch of padding that I could see sticking out while I was driving, which ended up making the creaking worse. Went back again, they took out the padding and said to give it another week, which at this point we just asked for the windshield to be redone. They put in a brand new windshield for me, which was cool, but then it had a huge scratch at the bottom and the plastic strips on the outside of my car were loose. Took it back, Walter said he'd order new parts and reseal everything himself. When we picked it up, I found a huge cut on the inside of my car where my side airbag is, and Walter was already out of town without any communication. Do not come here. read more

Honesty and Integrity are not words I would use to describe my experience with WALTER or his business ASAP Glass. In August of 2020 (pre-pandemic) Walter's boys on Altez took a "can opener" to my 1992 Jaguar in an attempt to replace the windshield. Part way through the job they balked, having doubt's that they chose the correct windshield. Two pieces of trim were damaged (bent and dented) and paint was scratched in their attempt. Contacting Walter at the Eubank location, he expressed absolutely no regret for the damage caused and proceeded to tell me what he was'nt going to do for me. He would not pay for one of the pieces of trim his shop damaged. He would not take care of the paint damage; thought he referred me to his body shop. He had his "daughter" looking on ebay for a replacement part for my Jaguar, eventually leaving me the responsibility of finding the right part. No compensation whatsoever. Half a dozen attempts to organize service at the body shop were unsuccessful, after following the owner's instructions each time. I made no further attempts once the body shop's owner made reference to how Walter was speaking about me. So, if your looking for a reputable business and a conscientious owner to do business with, WALTER and ASAP Glass are probably not your go to choice. I own several collector cars and some domestic. I would never recommend this man or his business to anyone. Quite the contrary as I'm now an advocate to warn fellow auto enthusiast to steer clear of this man and his business. Wm. R. read more

I called to replace my windshield about 8 months ago. Within one month I had leaking on the passenger side. So I took it back in to get it fixed... Once I got back I found black glue all over white head liner. Very poor service!!! Not only that but they broke the clip on my rear view mirror, and molding on windshield is coming loose. Although this place's entrance is tucked away - it was worth a drive around the block to get in! They were fast, courteous, and a super clean shop! The gal at the front desk is so friendly and makes you feel right at home. I've gotten my windshield replaced at other places for cheap but the quality of the glass itself was so sub par that for the price this place charged I wasn't expecting much. I would not recommend going to ASAP Glass for your window needs, unless you want the run around. Had work done on windows at my house, they were not done correctly and they had to come back 4 times.... and they are STILL NOT fixed, I have called, e-mailed and tried to get them back to fix the work they did and to this day months later they still have not come out to finish the job. They keep giving me the run around and pushing dates to come fix it way out weeks way out. It is ridiculous. I have asked to speak the owner Walter several times and to this day he has never called me back! Think twice before you call them to do any work!! read more

I broke one of the glasses in my back door, looked of glass installers, found ASAP, sounds good. I called them and set up an appointment for an estimate. Jeremiah was here on time, the price was reasonable, but, that's where the customer service ends. If you believe the name, DON'T, they are not fast and will not keep in contact with you or make their appointments. After the technician came and gave me a quote, I received a bill, paid the bill and nothing, no calls to let me know what was going on. After about 10 days I called and talked with Carla, she told me the glass just got in and they would be out on Friday to install. I had to call Carla again on Thursday to find out what time the technician would be here and was told between 2 and 4pm. At 3:50pm, I called again to find out what was going on, she called the tech and was told it would be closer to 5pm. He did show up a few mins before 5pm. Did a very good job replacing the glass. He cleaned up and was done. Jeremiah did a fine job he was very professional and kinda made every thing OK. BUT, the office personnel were not!!!!!! My point is: Why should I have to contact them for follow-up information. if this is how they take care of their customers, I don't know how they get return business. Just had an Unbelievably rediculous time at the Eubank location. We had a 12pm appt..we dropped it off right b4 12pm. They told us it should be about 2hrs. We came back after 2pm and the vehicle had not been MOVED!.Explanation: Well thats just an estimate time...REALLY..not even moved!.We had to come back 2 weeks ago because the wrong part was ordered..Strike 1..So they ordered the next part...we made our appt...after 3 hrs...she told us that the wrong part was in again! Strike 2....then the Mgr/owner comes in and says that our part was dis-continued after 2 weeks of waiting for this shop. Finally Mgr/owner got frustrated and told the woman at the front to refund our money. Front desk women have no empathy for your wait time and look like they are always on the defensive. Strike 3....The lady behind me got so upset as well, she walked out. I guess they have plenty of customers to treat us like this and it's OK.....NOT! read more

Talked to owner (Walter Dill) who was also working on vehicles. His attitude was that they are the cheapest in town. He was Very Defensive and just said pay your bill. I just say Buyer Beware of Owner that Don't appreciate your business, because if you have a problem with anything this what you have to deal with. I received shoddy work and unbelievably bad customer service at ASAP Glass on Altez, I had a windshield replaced on my motorhome that was not installed correctly. In my first trip, after the replacement, the molding around the windshield began popping off before I had driven five miles so I had to tape it in place completely around the windshield to keep it from blowing off. When I got in rain, it began to leak and, with time and miles, the leak got worse to where air was whistling in across the entire top of the windshield to the point where I was afraid the windshield was going to fall off. Very bad shoddy workmanship, I took my motorhome back to ASAP to see if they could fix the windshield. As the receipt for the work was in the files in motorhome bedroom closet, I would have had to level and pop-out the slides to get to it, I printed out the e-mail stream between me, my insurance and ASAP that contained the date, the case number, and references the W9 form ASAP completed for the work, That should be enough, right? Wrong! When I talked to the Office Director, Carla. about the problem with the windshield, she asked me for my receipt. I showed her the e-mail stream (date, names, case number, w-9) and asked her to pull up her copy as mine was difficult to get to. She agreed that she has a copy of the receipt and she could pull it up but she was not going to do it and wouldn't discuss it until I showed her mine. I asked the owner (hoping he would have common sense) but was told that the owner, Walter, was out of town for a long time. ASAP customer relations are so bad that it is almost comical. I went out to my motorhome and began to level it out to get to the receipt but began to think that I have a lot of money in this motorhome I care about, why would I want them to touch it. I'm back to my insurance to get their screw-up fixed. With the shape that Walter's family business is in, it makes sense he is out of town for a long, long time. I went o the location on Eubank, but I assume the service is all the same. My journey started when some (wonderful*) truck chipped/cracked my windshield instantly on the 25. The problem spread over several days, as most drivers know that happens with the expansion and contraction of temperature. I quoted safe-lite auto glass online for $430 ASAP Auto Glass replaced my windshield for $140 flat. Labor, Tax, initial price etc. They did a great job too. Long story short, you are reading this review when you should be making an appointment at ASAP. The ASAP Auto Glass installers are top notch and I give them 5 stars, but the ordering, handling, and the super long wait times to get glass manufactured are total nonsense. Carla in particular is the biggest reason! I would highly advise anybody to stay clear of this business. Carla absolutely does not care or value her customers. When I posed this question to her in an email, after someone dropped the ball on my glass order, and I had to wait for months to get it. She flat out said, " Oh well, you can take your business else where! " I had requested a small discount for there mistake, which she flatly refused and blamed it on COVID. Unbelievable! My service was scheduled by ASAP giving me a window to be home between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m to replace my windshield. I was in a class and unavailable until 12:00 that is why I agreed to the scheduled time. The technicians started calling my phone and my husband's at 11:44 a.m. saying they were at my home and would only wait 15 minutes because they were ahead of schedule and had to go eat tacos. My husband informed them that I was in a class but would be home by 12:00 p.m. I arrived at 11:55 a.m. and no technicians were present. My husband called ASAP and they arrived about 12:10 p.m. They were clearly upset with me saying in a condescending tone that they were told that I had gone to some class, so they went to eat their tacos. I told them my agreed upon window was 12:00 noon and I arrived at 11:55 a.m., I was present 5 minutes before I was supposed to be. If they had just gone to have their lunch first and then come to do their job, I would have never known they were ahead of schedule. How difficult does time management have to be and why was it my fault? They did the job, the quality remains to be seen. Then when the technician prepared the statement, he told me to sign at the bottom. The statement was itemized so I prefer to read what I'm signing, that should not be unusual. He pointed to the bottom line 3 times for me to sign it, treating me like an incompetent. I lost my patience and told him that I knew where to sign it, but I prefer to read it first. This negative attitude continued until my husband drove up at which time the technician's tone changed and was much nicer to me. I should have never had this experience and I will never have them come to my home again. My recommendation would be to go directly to the shop. This treatment was demeaning and sexist. read more

You won't believe how unprofessional this place is.  I went into ASAP to have the drivers side window replaced; a job so simple that it's hard to imagine how they could mess it up in so many ways. To start with, the window they put in was so scratched up it that it literally looked like it was stored in a bag of gravel (I'm not exaggerating). It also popped and made a loud sound when you rolled it down and would never fully roll up. The button for the passenger window completely stopped working as well. Obviously I went back to get them to fix this.  I took it in again to get this stuff fixed and they told me they had installed the Wrong window and that's why it had issues. I guess the selection isn't as good when they have to choose from the junkyard or wherever they got that scratched up mess. Anyways, they said it would be done in a couple of hours and 9 hours later I get a call telling me it's done. So I get a ride over there, but have to wait for another hour or more because they needed to "go to the store to get some parts"... Keep in mind, this is after they already told me it was ready and I could pick it up. While I was waiting they came up to me holding a black plastic piece in hand asking "do you know where this goes?". I kid you not! They said it came from my car and they didn't know where it went. They also said they lost the black strip that goes up against the window, but assured me that it "shouldn't matter." They then told me that they broke a larger plastic corner piece that goes on the door, but that they would order a new one for me. I then noticed that the inside door handle frame was not only broken, but installed INSIDE of the door, so that foam and other inner materials were exposed (it should look like a nice normal plastic door handle).  I explained all these new issues to them and they agreed and wanted me to leave the car with them again once they order the parts and called me. Weeks later I never heard back from them, so I sent them an email and I still haven't heard anything.  This place is beyond unprofessional.  Oh, did I mention they locked my keys inside the car in the middle of the day? I had to leave work, get a spare key and drive it to them so they could get into the car again! You would be better off hiring a homeless person with no car experience. It would be much cheaper and slightly more professional.  Also, the door rattles when I play music now. read more

Very shady practices!!! I had a right drivers side window replaced on my focus on 1/8 and as soon as I left and hit the freeway I could hear the wind coming though even with the door closed and the window raised. I also noticed that the plastic on the door was loose and not installed right. I came back on the 10th when they opened at 8 am and told the manager about this, she said to give them an hour and they would deal with it. an hour later I got on the freeway again and the sound was louder. I went back later during my lunch break and brought it up to her attention. She said that she did not hear me say anything about the actual window. She had me come back to next day to schedule a repair. at this point its the 11th, I return a FIFTH time thursday morning to get it looked at. The technician comes into the office after about 20 and asks if they did this(the install), I reply that they did and he goes back to the shop. 5 minutes later he comes back saying the issue is with the regulator he said that it was broken and needed to be replaced. I reminded him that it was fine before they touched it. He tried to blame it on the damaged window. They wanted to charge me 185 for a new 6 pin one. the manager then said that she would leave it at 135 if i could wait unitl it came in. Today, the 19th i went in at 8 am to get it installed and pay the unethical 135. after an hour they came back saying it was defective and that they had to order another one and i would have to come back. At the same time the same tech/installer that "discovered" the issue told me that he found what might be the issue. He said that the cable on the one I had was installed wrong (they were the ones that installed it when the window was replaced) and that he could fix it with no cost to me. He then put it back together and my window was installed right. This is a blatant case of bait and switch. These people tried to fool me into spending another $150 to cover up lazy and mediocre work. Hubby took the vehicle here for an urgent windshield replacement based on prior reviews, and we weren't disappointed. Pricing is excellent--about half of what our insurance co.'s contractor quoted us. We were able to get a Saturday appointment with less than 24 hours' notice. Got there at 9 am, out by 9:45. Waiting area is sparse but clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. New windshield looks great. Would definitely recommend them! read more

This place is wonderful! As I was driving around, my car window wouldn't come back up and it was freezing out. The people at ASAP auto glass were amazing! They adjusted my window for FREE so it was in a closed position and gave me a reasonable price to come repair the switch on Monday. And the did all this on a Saturday at 5pm!!
