We purchased our new windows from Lewis in early May of 2025, then Steve came out to take exact measurements about 2 weeks later. From that point on communication from Window World was a bit lacking. I called them at least 2 times looking for a status, and each time the phone call concluded with a young lady saying "let me do some research and get back to you." Both of those calls were never returned. During the second week of July I contacted Lewis and let him know that we were hearing crickets from Window World. He advised that he would have the installation manager contact me the next day to give me a status report. The next day I received a call from the scheduling manager and she advised that our windows should be in on that day's truck. Long story short, we scheduled the installation for July 14th and 15th. On the morning of July 14th, the crew showed up 15 minutes early. That impressed me. They really seemed to be on the ball. Unfortunately, that momentum quickly faded as the day unfolded. Sometime around 10am the crew removed the three front windows in my living room. They replaced one and left the other two holes wide open for the rest of the day while they proceeded to change every other window in the house. They finally got back to the two gaping holes at about 4:30pm. (..By 3pm I had 10 million flies breeding in my living room and the temperature was a comfy 90 degrees..) I couldn't understand why they removed the three biggest windows in the house and then left the holes for two of them open while they changed every other window. I learned why later in the day. A very annoying part of the entire experience today was that the crew could not have cared less about closing gates. My backyard is set up with multiple gates to make sure that my dogs can't get near the street. Every time they went through any of the gates, they would leave them open. I even asked the foreman to ask his crew to make sure to close gates - because they didn't speak English - but this didn't help. Every time they went through a gate, they left it open. This happened repeatedly. Do none of them have family pets? The real kicker in all of this is that at 5:30pm I was told that the crew didn't have the correct window to fill the last gaping hole in my living room. I tried to call Lewis and went to voicemail. I tried to call Steve and went to voicemail. I called the Window World main office, and they promptly transferred me to...you guessed it...someone's voicemail. Not sure what to do now. Someone is supposed to call me back. On July 15th, after a few more calls, I finally received a return call from Window World and was told that they would need to re-order the missing window. It would take about a month "if we're lucky." I now have a 60" x 43" piece of 1/8" plywood in place of my front window. It hisses when the wind blows and I'm willing to bet it will leak if it rains. I've lived in New Mexico for 47 years and for the first time ever I'm praying that it doesn't rain. To anyone considering new windows in their home, please know that my wife and I are VERY much regretting our decision to go with Window World. read more

I ordered windows from Window World of Albuquerque and the salesman miscounted my windows, ordered the wrong amount, misquoted me and forgot to add installation and now threatening with a lawsuit because I told them keep their windows! The salesman can't count to 13, the general manager threatens with lawsuits and the communication is horrible! I got 5 conflicting text messages from the salesman in one day! Horrible - DO NOT USE!! I was excited at first knowing how they support vets and product is made in the USA. After they receive the order, lack of communication. Took longer than expected to receive new patio door. My husband had to miss work twice due to their incompetance. After the door was installed, we were having flooring installed only to find out the door had leaked and the entire carpeting was soaked. After they came back for a third time, the top of the door was leaking like a waterfall. Also, on the initial install didn't even bring the screen door. Too many issues for the price you pay. The staff answering the phone also are so rude and never give messages to the staff. Dave was pleasant at first but then when I actually visited the location, he was quick to blow me off to someone else. A $100 gift card to Albertsons really doesn't make up for the nightmare, time missed from work, because they can't get appointments scheduled correctly or a door installed correctly, and the rudeness and lack of follow-up from any staff member. I will say, there was one lady in the office that was pleasant in scheduling an appointment - my apologies to her, because I don't recall her name. I was ready to start replacing all my windows with them, but at this point even if they were free, I would not recommend them. read more

Customer service is a joke!!!! They call out of the blue changing the scheduled date asking to come early. Wifey (me) works from home. He's busy at work so He calls back and schedules another day to come. SHE gives him attitude!. He calls once again to get the dates right, leaves a message and they DON'T call back. Just because your schedule opens up doesn't mean that ours has.... We already ordered all windows for the house and he gets treated with attitude. We got quotes from multiple window installations and Window World was by far the best fit for our house and our family. The window installation was done in a day and we no longer have condensation on our windows, which was the biggest reason why we chose to upgrade our windows. We had our windows installed by Window World last year. I couldn't be happier. The level of professionalism by Israel the lead installer was amazing. He went above and beyond to make sure that everything was done properly, and when he left you couldn't even tell any type of construction or installation had been done in our home. He is a treasure and I hope Window World compensates him appropriately. I Purchased their top-of-the-line windows which allows cleaning of both the top and bottom windows from the inside of your home, because of the way they tilt when you wish to clean them. I can honestly say cleaning these windows is a breeze. We priced other vendors and I can honestly say we were shocked at how inexpensive Window World provides a wonderful comparable product. Thank you Window World for a great product at an affordable price, and my home looks absolutely beautiful with the new windows. read more

Made the mistake of ordering windows and doors during pandemic. Agreed to finance purchase thru Wells Fargo. Several weeks elapsed between sales call and measurements. Still more weeks passed before installation. Installation crew did a good job. One bedroom window was broken and was not installed. Sliding glass door does not close properly. Front door quality is poor. I have contacted customer service several times asking about completion of installation. Customer service reps are evasive, never giving any reliable info. Never follow up on phone calls/voice mail messages. Finance company began billing me before installation was completed. Been making payments for 2 months. In hindsight would never do business with this company and would not recommend them to anyone for new windows/doors. read more

The first time I did business with Window World (WW), I had excellent customer service, and got 5 large windows replaced for about $6,000. The windows look good and are wonderful. The second time (2 years later) I was having a $1,200, large 4' by 8' window installed. I had good initial customer service, but the wait would be 3 months...then due to the pandemic it became 6 months, then one year. At a month or two after the one year wait period, they had not called me, so I called them. They immediately scheduled the installation. That made me wonder if they could have done so a month or two earlier, or if it was just a coincidence that the day the windows arrived was the same day I called them. The day before the installation, they called and asked to move it back one more week. The day of the installation a week later, they called to say they had a problem with enough installers on-hand to install the window. When the installers showed up they did a great job, and this window is also very nice. But while talking to them, I found out what really happened a week earlier. They showed up with two installers, and saw that the window was a second story window, and they could not 'safely' install it without scaffolding and one or two more men, so they left. (That was the problem with not having enough installers). The third time (3 years later), I called for an estimate to have 6 windows replaced and complete putting in all new windows around our house. The estimate was over $8,000...and three of these windows were small 2' by 2' bathroom windows. When I asked how I got 5 large windows for $6K a few years ago, I was told the prices have gone up and it's true for all the window installers around town. I asked how much it would cost without the three little windows, and after more number crunching, was told, $4548 for three windows. I called by a day or two later, asking for my sales person, Zach Carrasco, and asked how much would it cost for just the one large window, that had cost me $1,200 just a couple of years ago. He said he was pretty busy, but would get back to me with that estimate. I never heard from him again, and called two other companies that would both noticeably lower in price for a very similar window (according to the specs. on the windows). We had new windows installed two years ago by Home Depot. In the process they shortened one of our kitchen windows so that we could put a counter under it. When we decided to remodeled our kitchen we called them again to give us a quote to shorten the other kitchen window the same way. The guy told us that they won't do it, the only reason they did it to begin with was because we were spending so much money at the time. So our contractor recommended Window World. They were great. The installation was great. Quality of work was great. The price was good. The window was better looking than Home Depot's and more user friendly. The screens have their own track so they never have to be pulled off to clean the windows. (That makes a huge difference) Also their installer pointed out how all of our windows from HD were installed incorrectly. I called HD. They came out and are still in the process of fixing all of our windows. We should've called Window World the first time and you should too. read more

They did a good job installing the windows, however one of the windows was damaged. I was promised that it would be replaced within a few weeks. The install was back in July, it is now September and I still do not have the replacement window. Every time I call I get told, it's due to COVID delays. They were able to get all of my windows here for the initial install on time, so I don't understand why it's taking 3 months to get ONE REPLACEMENT WINDOW! The salesman did a great job in selling me the windows. One of the things that stood out that was great to me was that they have had the same installers for many years and they've always done a great job. Well I didn't get to experience that. My insulation took place on January 30th through February 1st. Right away I noticed there was air coming in from each and every window and sliding door. They were not able to come out to inspect them until February 15th. Upon inspection Izzy found out that his guys did not do their job correctly. In some instances they did not put the little brush / seal on the windows and other places they did not go around the whole windows. Izzy was able to do a few windows. According to the salesman he was not able to come back until February 26th to finish fixing the rest of the windows. Izzy did an excellent job. To be honest if I were to buy another house, I would not do business with window world again. read more
