A pretty young gal came door to door and I thought I needed siding. Vanessa got Zak in the door to talk about pricing and measurements. The customer service is on point and Zak and Vanessa were wayyyyy friendly. We heard at the siding pitch and believe it's an amazing product "pure vigin vinyl", "120 mph wind tested", " 50 year color protection". We have 1933 sq feet of siding that would be needed. The first choice of vinyl we choose came to $28k, yes $28k, so we bumped down to vinyl siding choice to $19,500. We thought about it. Zak showed us everything they use and how they install it "correctly". Zak is super thorough with explanation. We talked about home value increase of $16000 vs not getting siding and decreasing the house value of $5000 with the siding we have. I gave a cash $350 deposits to hold the price and thought 3 days about the vinyl. It is semi high pressure to lock in your price at the bid amount at your house pitch. We declined Bc after talking to multiple contractors, friends and co workers this was way too expensive, even though it's an amazing products. I hired Debella for roof and gutters. Roofing was great. Gutters not so. I had about 98% done. There delays on my part because other being done at that time. Delays came another company (not debella). I did keep subcontractor updated daily, weekly. When other job was finished June 28 2023. I called to set up appointment to finish the work, I told oops holiday coming, I said no problem call me after. Well after that it has been hell. I have had called no response but if I text I got responses (July 14). No call no text. I texted on July 28...not a nice one. Boy wife called and yelled at me then hung up. Then husband called very angry and said he did not like threat, I told him was threat. Called customer service, they sent email to Boise office, it was a friday. Received a call from Christie said she will and see what going on. There was family medical problem, still you owe a company since 2015. I called left a message again...you would think that they would have recordings let clients know they contact them later, it was 2 weeks of nothing. Owner asked to measurements, I gave it to wife in this 2 weeks. Then owner stated I measured wrong, like I told him I am not getting on ladder (widowed, senior citizen). I have teakwood patio furniture, we have rain and as yesterday and to Hillary rains are. I do have covered -still sitting in water. NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I had debella remolded my master bath 2 years ago, that kept me breast of delays...10 days. For roofing and gutter go somewhere. I asked for a small refund so I can hire someone to finish the job, Christie said they cannot do that because they paid already,no shit that was my monies. read more

Their sales team wined and dined us and pushed to make a deal the day the same-day. They promised things they later said that they should not have promised. Their prices were a lot more than their competitors. We later learned that they are the middle man and hire contractors to do their work. Save your money and time dealing with this company. My husband died in March of last year. He was in Hospice Care at home, but I was his main caretaker. Without my knowledge, he called dabella in January to come give us an estimate on the windows in the back room because he wanted to do something for me that I wouldn't have to worry about after he was gone. When the two sales people showed up, I met them in the garage and told them my husband was dying and we were not going to buy anything, but, because he had made the appointment with him, I would let them talk to us. I ended up telling them that their bid was way above our budget and way over our savings. We went through some hard selling, reducing price, take out a loan, etc. etc. etc. I just kept telling them no and I told them to leave and they just kept harping at my husband. He told them we were not going to purchase their product and please leave. It got to the point that I was moving 'their display items' over to them, and I told them to pack up their sht and get the fck out of our house. It took that for them to leave. Garbage! After trying to sell us a $22,000 roof on our single story, 2000sqft, gable roof, we declined his offer and contacted our insurance company and filed a claim. The adjuster came out and informed us he wants to launch an investigation into the guy who came out and gave us a quote from DaBella, because there were tons of mechanical damage done to the roof. So he was up there ripping up shingles all down one side of the roof. Because of that the insurance company is only going to cover the other side of the roof. Enough of the roof was wind damaged, they would have paid to replace the whole thing, but because this guy was up there ripping up shingles they now cannot cover that half of the roof. Don't even let them LOOK at your roof. read more

I am not sure if I want Reve to do anymore projects on my home. They came at a convenient time because I was thinking about getting a new roof for my home. I was also considering it after a room flooded. The roof so far is really cool. It makes my old home look pretty cozy and awesome. It has been holding up really well so far. It is very unique because they build in some ventilation. There are a few downsides. The first one is that they do not comply with your schedule. The construction people work in various regions of the valley so they have to push for specific dates. They say that you do not need to be present, but I would rather be present to make sure nothing weird happens. The other most important thing that went terribly wrong was that the sales person underestimated what was needed for the house. He clearly saw that the roof was old and was in dire need of a replacement. He failed to calculate the plywood that needed replaced which was an additional $2,000. He also failed to tell the roofers this because they are not supposed to touch a roof in this condition according to them after they started working on it. The other downside, which is my pet peeve about most construction workers, is the fact that they had children on the roof playing. I really doubt their insurance would cover such folly. I certainly do not want to end up paying for any broken limbs when the parents were the ones being irresponsible for letting their children play on the roof. They damaged my new siding and they denied that up an down. The top of the siding was bent out of shape and they made this excuse that they did not even touch the flat roof yet. Gee, how did they get up there then? The other thing is that they do not really pay much attention to anyone who lives in the house. They saw my car when they first arrived. After I moved and parked my car in front of the neighbor down the road my next door neighbor struck my car with a truck. The construction workers did not say anything as soon as it happened; they waited until they saw me going to my car to leave. Great, thanks, there was nothing that the police could do about it. Last, but not least, within a month of installation the corner of the flat roof was already peeling away. Even though it has a 50 year warranty, it was a pain to have someone come out to fix it. It took them three weeks to come out. Would I recommend Reve Exteriors? Maybe, if you want a nice looking roof. The service is friendly, but it is also a little lazy and careless. read more

From the beginning, the sales guys were nice. Communication was good. Then the day to put up our roof came. Bait & switch is an understatement. They sent us a rookie crew that did a hack job on our roof, left a huge mess and ruined our new gutters. It took Dabella forever to deal with it after tons of photos/calls, they finally decided to send out a roof inspector. Needless to say, the roof was completely stripped off and replaced by a new crew, who still left a smaller mess and did a little less damage to our gutters. It's been over 6 months and the roof is ok, but they won't return my calls about the gutters or to do a final inspection. Terrible company to work with. Even the nice sales guy, basically told me he doesn't do customer service and just blows smoke up my rear, telling me to call the office. 1 star is too good. All photos were after the first crew "finished", which was in the dark. I didn't see all of this until the next day. read more

The shower in our master bath was in horrible shape. After requesting quotes through Home Advisor we were fortunate enough to meet Harrison at DaBella. He's every knowledgeable young man, no high pressure sales, very relaxed buying experience. The installer called to schedule the work a week earlier than expected. Matt and his crew showed up this morning and 8 hours later we have a beautiful new shower. Couldn't be happier. DaBella also doors exterior work (roofs, windows, etc.). This is the worst company I've ever dealt with regarding home improvement. Unfortunately, my husband answered the door when one of their seemingly innocent salespeople came by. Because my husband is too nice, he agreed to let someone come out and give us a quote on new siding and windows WITH the agreement that we couldn't afford it right now. Dear Lord, when the uptight quote guy came by the next day, it was all I could do not to tell him to get back in his car and get off our property. He treated me like I was stupid and in a threatening tone said that there are "basically three ways this is gonna go..." with the last one being that we wouldn't agree to have new siding done right away and he'd wasted his time coming out. His "30-minute" inspection took 2 hours and he spent another two hours refusing to take no for an answer from my husband. Since then, the company won't stop calling and we're ready to contact the BBB. Also, they quoted us triple what it should have cost. I wanted a bathroom upgrade, because I could never get the caulking around the bathtub to look good or last very long. I thought a natural stone tile surround, installed and caulked professionally would be just what I needed. I got online to see what services were out there. I was almost immediately called by Reve Exteriors, but I didn't pick up because I didn't connect the name with bathroom tiling, plus I had been hoping for a small local company or individual to do the work. I got no other responses so I called Reve Exteriors back. I called them back and arranged for a sales representative to demonstrate their product. I was told that their "guys" would be out to give me an estimate. The guys turned out to be a cute little blonde, but she seemed to know her stuff. She took measurements and pictures, then brought out her suitcase full of samples and catalogs. I was impressed with the basic product, which is acrylic panels and bathtub with a lifetime warranty, although I was a bit put off by the limited choice of accessories which consisted only of Moen products. The selection was not just limited to Moen, but to a very small portion of that company's line-up. For the shower head, only 3 high-end choices are available. The valve to turn the water on? Only 1 style, which she tried to describe but didn't sound like something I would like. She had pictures of everything else but evidently not this. Even though it was 3 times as much as I originally meant to spend, I wrote her a check for the down payment before she left, which I most likely wouldn't have done if I had a wife to "slap me upside the head" and point out that I didn't really need or even want all the high-end accessories that this cutie had talked me into. Men can be so gullible! After I'd had time to think about it I realized that the only choice of trim offered to finish off the edges of the acrylic surround, a 4" herringbone, was too wide to fit between an existing permanent mirror fixture and the edge of the bathtub. She'd told me that the new tub would be a little narrower that the old one, so I emailed her to tell her about the potential problem and get the exact measurements of the new tub. She replied with a lengthy email that never came close to answering my question. I realized then that her inability to visualize the problem was at fault so I asked her to come out again, hoping she could grasp the problem. When she came back she showed me another option to finish off the edge of the new surround, a bullnose. She had never told me about this option at our first meeting, even though it was the standard method used by the company. Instead she had led me to believe that the $220 extra herringbone was the only thing offered. Then I noticed a page of normal shower heads as she thumbed through their catalog, which she had skipped over at our first meeting. Right there with the pictures of the regular shower heads was a picture of the only style of shower valve they offered. Then I realized why she had been clumsily trying to describe the valve instead of just showing me a picture of it; because then I would have seen the normal, far less expensive shower heads that were on the same page! I also found out that the different finishes on the plumbing fixtures also varied greatly in price. I found I could save $1320 by getting what I really wanted, instead of the high-end stuff that I had been misled into believing were the only options available. She contacted me later to see if my toilet tank was touching the wall behind it, where they were to install wainscoting. Since it was, that would void the entire warranty, so she said I had to reset the toilet. Instead I ordered a new toilet with a 10" rough-in to get it away from the wall. Then I spoke to their installer, who said he could bring the existing toilet away from the wall. He scheduled to come over to make sure before he started the install. I waited all day and he never showed. Didn't call to reschedule or apologize. He showed up 3 days later to do the install without knowing if he could make room for the old toilet. Of course I wasn't there, I was at work. I asked for a different installer but he's the only one they have. Out of room so long story shortened. He did the work, found additional problems with rot under the tub, and repaired that after asking me first. He did a good job with that and the basic install. Then he caulked around the new enclosure where it meets the ceiling and walls and it looks god-awful, but it wasn't his fault. The special caulking he used is an ugly brown and needs to be put on really thick or it gets pinholes. It's very hard to work with so it goes on unevenly and smears on the walls and ceiling and can't be cleaned off. I asked him to re-do it and use white this time. Too late because it had already set, Now I have to paint my bathroom to cover it up.$10,000 and I don't want anyone to see it. read more

If I could go lower than one star I would. For the cost, this is the worst job I have ever seen in my life, and I have been around for a while. The top looks like it was cut with an axe, did not even have sealant on it. the corners don't match, the whole job was sealed poorly, if at all, and they tried to do the old bait and switch on the shower doors. Tried to change from what I ordered to a cheaper set. (They had not even ordered the proper ones at the time of install.) SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT EVEN THINK OF USING THIS COMPANY. Have it done locally for a much cheaper price, and buy your wife a new wardrobe with the money you save. They are overpriced and they under deliver. In my opinion this is an awful deal all the way around, they talk a good talk and that is all. I contacted them about my concerns and was told they would call back by the end of the week. Did not happen, in fact I did not even hear from them till I posted this. I was told these were small problems, maybe to them, not to me. This all was right after the Job was completed. Now we go to a few months later. If you need something fixed under warranty, forget it, you get the run around for weeks, three weeks three broken promises, did not even bother to call and let me know he was not coming. The fourth week they did bring a new shower head, the old one was squirting up to the ceiling, but the new one was chrome and did not work any way, and I have brushed nickel not chrome. Made him aware of that and was told he would be down the following week, that was weeks ago. No word from them, so I went and bought one myself. Like I said save your money and buy your wife a new wardrobe or take the family on vacation. You will be much happier. read more

We had all our windows replaced with their triple pane windows 12 total. They are awesome windows! I like that they open in both directions, the window screen is in a track so it to can slide to either side that is open. The privacy or rain glass looks great. I have received several compliments. These are not the cheap window's that you can buy from Home Depot that will last for a couple of years before the seals go bad. To back these windows they even have a life time garaunty. They were also able to set these up on a payment plan that works for our budget. I ask for an estimate only. Salesman gave me an estimate with a monthly payment. I said I wasn't ready to buy. He got on the phone and came back with a lower estimate and monthly payment. I said I wasn't ready AGAIN. He got on the phone and came back with another lower estimate and payment for the third time. I said for the third time I wasn't ready. Your salesman did not care about the customer. His high pressure aggressive sales tactics did not work this time. Your salesman only cared about making a sale and could care less about what the customer wanted (a simple estimate). I have had to block several phone numbers from calling me. I love our new roof that REVE had put on our home. They ripped off the old roof and replaced it with a brand new one, they put all new plywood up, new barrier and now our roof will last for a long time. Our bills will be lower also. We had them come out for the estimate and 4 hours later, they had convinced us to pay $25,620 on a small siding job after starting off at $39,000! They call the "boss" several times and get it discounted using reasons like " overstock" "marketing discount" etc. They are not the contractor and hire out the work. The loan is a secured loan so a lien will be put on your house. They give discounts for reviews and take a photo of it before they leave! We backed out the next day and I altered my review on Google. They removed it almost instantly. Very sleazy tactics. I hope no one gets scammed into paying these exorbitant prices for wor from a contractor that they will not even give you the name of to verify if they are any good or not. My husband is a type 1 diabetic and the stress from this kept him up all night long. Conclusion: Do not go through a 3rd party to get work done on your home! The money can go direct to a contractor and you pay so much less all the while dealing with the actual person doing the work! read more

I was passed from person to person, like a hot potato, getting NOTHING done!! They called me when they left message it sound like I won then when I called I had to answer question then they said I have to have some one out to give me a quote They where nice but my husband had to be there he just got home when they arrive I had home made chicken Alfredo they took 2 hrs I got reheated pasta and they did not want to leave until I gave them a down payment and commit to it. They could not take a hint it's late at night We where not happy it we was told it was not going to be that long and I wasn't paying for anything Then what the wanted for a new tub was over 12,000.
