We had a shower install with DaBella. I was hesitant because of the price, which was around $15k for a shower... but living in rural WA we really don't have many options. so, we thought at least we know it would get done right. the shower is fine, they did a good job. it's not worth $15k in my opinion, but it looks nice and it doesn't leak. However, while demo-Ing the shower, the installer knocked an electrical outlet out of the wall on the other side of the shower in the neighboring room. he said he would come back and fix it and took photos, but it's been months and he never did. I called and called and they said someone would come out or call me to fix the damage. then I talked to customer service (months after the fact) to inquire about the repair and they said someone would call me (never did) and that they don't usually fix the damage they cause during install and that it is stated in the contract. however, since the installer said he would come back and fix they would honor it. They didn't. My electrical outlet is still sticking out of my wall. Foe the price we paid, this should have been fixed same day or the next day. read more

Are you looking for excellent workmanship and great customer service? If you are, DO NOT hire DaBella! We paid approximately $18,000.00 for DaBella to install a walk-in shower in the master bath and a new tub in the main bathroom...this is our story. DaBella installed our bathtub & walk-in shower in October. We discovered in FEBRUARY that there was a leak in the walk-in shower and water covered the crawlspace under our house, which we repaired ourselves. This was due to a break in the pipe which happened while the shower was being installed, we also discovered no plumbers putty was used. While using the tub in the main bath, after a week we found water flooding one of our spare bedrooms and all under the flooring in our bathroom. We had a water mediation company out and discovered there was a break in the pipe which happened while the tub was being installed...and no plumber's putty. Now comes the fun part. We sent an email with pictures of the damage to DaBella and asked for the insurance information for our installer. We went weeks with no response, or they talked about everything EXCEPT the installer insurance information...when we could get someone to answer. We emailed, texted and called, but it finally came to a head in APRIL when we ended up having to contact their legal department to threaten a lawsuit. The installer contacted us, but didn't want to turn it over to his insurance so when everything was finished, we are looking at no trim around the floor in the main bathroom and a spare bedroom with the rug and padding all torn up because, "we were going to replace the rug anyway." It doesn't matter that it was going to be over a year before we could afford it due to paying for the new bathrooms. Everything was finally "finished" in JUNE; however, no support was put under the shower floor so it sags. Due to the sagging the caulk keeps separating from the walls. Due to caulk separating from the walls, the shower leaks, which means we will have to recaulk our shower ever month or so in order to keep it from leaking. PLEASE save yourself A LOT of aggravation and just use someone else. read more

Requested an estimate on a siding repair. They came out and constantly pressured to replace the entire siding on the house. We went back and forth on him trying to convince me they don't make cedar siding like this anymore, and that I should never get more than one estimate, because "they" lie. He spent over two hours here, and then I heard nothing from his office on an estimate. I called to inquire about the estimate, (would not accept anyway) and the woman who answered the phone said it's noted I wanted a repair, and they don't do repairs. Someone lied. And of course they make this cedar siding, I had a very qualified company fix everything I needed. Never, never use these people. read more

Do not use these guys, they are overpriced and when you realize it and try to cancel the contract the very next day they will give you the run around. (The FTC definitions is "Buyer's Remorse: The FTC's Cooling-off Rule-https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/.../buyers-remorse-ftcs...) Protect yourself from businesses like this one. Update: DaBella finally reached out to me after making a call to the FTC, manger tried to claim he was in a 4 hour meeting. My first contact was at 8:27 am, contact from manager was exactly 12:16, not four hours but close, and it was exactly 1 hour after my call with the FTC, and after me informing them I contacted the FTC. I'm a professional and I've yet to sit in a 4 hour meeting without a break. The salesperson also tried to give me the same lame excuse, of being with a customer and they don't check the phone. (NOT TRUE) both salespeople checked their phones while giving me the sales speech about their product. Back to manager; He throws his own employee under the bus, and say's the sales person could have initiated the cancelation, "salesperson said he can't do anything it has to be his manager." (paraphrase) This has all happened after I've already had to call the lender they used, and all major credit bureau's, and all the while I'm in my own meeting, and a doctors appointment trying to get this cancelled. I tell the salesperson what his manager said, salesperson is military, I'm also former military, we look out for our own. I told him to "My military brother, watch your 6", his response is "Watch my 6? Is that a threat I'm confused", I've never heard that response from a military person after saying that. I told him "No, your company is not good", " Can you talk" this is while I'm with my doctor. I'm told I can go to the local office to sign the cancellation document, I signed and they did not give me a copy, nor did they offer a copy. The only thing she wanted to do was rush me out because I was telling them what happened. Also, another claim made by some graphs they had that say's not for public use, or reprinting. They claim the average cost of a roof is $32k, and that next year it will go up to $36k, salesperson said that in front of my neighbor (caught the salesmen in a lie here, I'm was getting gutters installed too, no mention of that in our conversation), anyhow, all not true the average is actually $8,000. Now costs can rage between $5500 -$10000 per Forbes Advisor, and several other sources in an internet search. This is all a far cry from the price they were trying to charge me for 21 squares(size of my roof) Full price for me was going to be $32,484.54, finance was going to be $49985.47 and I mentioned to a close friend and he told me to cancel it. Thank god I have a friend who understands this stuff. Lesson here, don't fill out Facebook contests for money, or cars, or promise of free home renovations. There are scammers out there that will take advantage of you. P.S. This is not about money, my approval sailed through the underwriters. This is also not about payments, it was $273 a month. Spent quite some time getting an estimate, at no time was I told it was time sensitive, that this was a "right now" price. When I went to arrange to have the work done, it was almost TWICE the estimated price. It was then I was told that was a special price for that time, and has "expired". I wouldn't trust this sleazy company as far as I could throw them. read more

Sales guy was really nice, then got aggressive with his pitch. He said.... I can deal with yes or no, not maybe because maybe is a no. Well after all his gimmicky sales pitches and then quoting me at $40,000 to replace all my windows and doors (I have a lot of windows) my maybe was legit....I have to think about that sort of thing and do some research etc. He really wanted me to sign TO-DAY RIGHT NOW and I was like....no dude, that's not how I roll. He even fake got on the phone with his manager. Very corny. At first he was very nice and personable... Then when I wouldn't sign up he made me very uncomfortable and like I wanted him to get the fuck out of my house. He insisted I write a review and pulled this up on my phone for me to do it. If you think Kirby Vacuum sales is a grift and a time suck, we implore you to be amazed by Dabella's Salesforce. And i say "force" because the whole grift is forceful. Terrible business model. My wife and I just had them give us an estimate for reroofing our single story, low grade roof, on a 1700 square foot home. We were quoted $42,000 and as of course let me call my boss to see what we can do. oh how does $31000 sound. ITS SOUNDS AWFUL GUYS. we sat through 2.5 hours of an estimate and all but 20 minutes was talking about how amazing their business is, and how great reviews they have. after this marathon id figure they sell me on a time share as well. If they'd spend more time on actually writing a proper quote and bringing a ladder to fully inspect my roof that would have been helpful. i felt dirty afterwards. They want an answer after their presentation and wont leave you alone or leave until you say no 500 times. Can we come back at 7pm, 8pm for an answer. One of my favorite lines before this presentation was; "We arew a word of mouth company." Word of mouth and grifting are two different things. They also push you to leave a review on google for them. i had to leave a review to get them off my property. read more

I wanted to give my salesman Auto Hardy, (yes that is his name) a much deserved 5 star review here. I was solicited a free quote over the phone and thought ok what the heck I need one only problem was I live in Tacoma and the house is in Aberdeen so I drove down not knowing the name or company (forgot to write it down) when I got there he was already there long story short he gave me a bid and we made a deal he took the time to drive to Tacoma from lacy each time we had docs to sign, he was very helpful and knowledgeable by the time we were done I felt like I'd known him forever !! I highly recommend Dabella Roofing if all of their salesman are like Auto they are a class act company. I will continue this review once my roof is completed in 4 weeks but so far very happy with my service. As far as price they were right in line with another bid I received but this product looks a lot more reliable. read more

I have an emergency roof repair due to water leaking into my electrical panel and looking for an emergency repair. I called and the gal was polite. They said they could come out and fix, no problem. Instead the guy that showed up (roof was put on in 2008) said unless they install a completely new roof, they will not do the repair. That they are NOT in the business to do repairs only new complete roofs. Deceptive, breach of promise of work, sales pitch only - even though you don't need a new roof, we must have the entire roof replacement or we won't repair the leak into your electrical panel!!!! Huge ethics issue and completely misleading. To have set me up for a repair that is an emergency to only pitch if I buy a new roof now (which isn't needed - it has been inspected) is nothing more than fraud!!!! I had DaBella come out to see what it would cost to do our 1700 square foot home in new siding. Nice guys... long 'presentation' before they actually gave me a bid, and I get it... we all have to make money. But they looked me in the eye and threw out a stand-up-and-shout-damn-this-was-a-huge-waste-of-time kind of number. Not a joke, $50,500 to put siding on a 1700 square foot house. FIFTY THOUSAND! I mean... wow! If 1 out of 20 people take the bait it'll keep this outfit afloat but if you're a normal person ... not looking for rock bottom prices, but hoping for something in the neighborhood of a fair price, I wouldn't waste your time with DaBella. read more

Dabella is a HORRIBLE COMPANY. I had a new roof installed, It took over 2 months to get it installed. They frequently changed start dates. The sub contractors used took 3 days to install the roof.  They arrived on site late and left early.  Then I find out I was over charged for the roofing project.  I have been contacting the company but getting the run around.  I was told someone would call and they NEVER RETURN PHONE CALLS..  I went to the Lacey, Washington office where I was greeted with, Oh, "I was Just going to call you." He then attempted to tell me, "It seems there was no overpayment."  I asked for a copy of my invoice.  The invoice did not show the price I was quoted but the original purchase price.  I asked how did you come up with the additional costs since it is not on the invoice?  I was told, "I received an email stating there was no overpayment."  When I asked who sent the email? He would not tell me.  I asked what the additional charges were and again, the response was I don't know. The charges aren't listed.  I asked for my overpayment back and was told I'd have to speak to the manager.  He was conveniently not available. I have made several phone calls to the office and it seems as though they make up titles and just keep shuffling people to the phone.  In any event I am still getting the run around.  Dabella is not the company to use for your home projects. Very unprofessional and untrustworthy. Dabella preys on deceptive practices. Beware... Follow Up I've visited the Olympia, Washington, Dabella branch office at least 3 times. After speaking with the manager on the 3rd visit, I was told it would take approximately 13 weeks to receive my overpayment refund. I patiently waited the 13 weeks. I have not heard from Dabella. There has been no contact and of course no refund to my account. I will reach out to the company again today. the difference being I will update this post with the updated response I receive. I will continue adding to this post until the issue is resolved. If I don't get satisfaction, I will report this to the Local News channels. read more

Hard sell by salespeople. Started off bad and only got worse. Left me with unsealed windows and messed up interior. Subbed out all work and nobody managed the project. Originally installed windows over rotted osb with no flashing. Then installed them upside down. And cut into the interior only to leave an inch gap. I tried to let them make it right and they wouldn't. You won't have the energy to wait them out, trust me. I have photo proof of all they're "work". Don't make the same mistake. I'm still so angry at this company. They are not honest, reliable or even halfway competent. They somehow have the advertising dollars but don't get fooled by the pictures. The company does shoddy work and will bail. Also, don't trust the "warranty " pitch. They'll never honor it and you should look for someone to do it right the first time. Not the second or third or fourth when water starts coming in the middle of winter. read more

Don't waste your time. I had a guy come out to give me an estimate of $27,000 to replace a plain asphalt roof on a 1400 sq ft rambler. The average for my area is about $8K to $10K. There's no way to justify a quote like that. And they don't even do their own work. read more

Haleigh and Melissa came out and we hit it off right away. They were very friendly and personable. We were a bit frustrated with our installers as they cut off the wrong satellite dish and left food and garbage in our yard. None of them spoke English so it was hard to communicate with them. So I'm seeing a pattern of negative reviews about sales tactics. The sales rep that came to my home, Alice was so pushy. First they knock on your door and offer a free estimate, then they want you to say yes or no and really they want you to say yes. We said no and she kept pushing it and pushing it. Then she supposedly called her boss like 4 times, which I highly doubt there was someone on the other line. When we said we needed to think about it she didn't respect that and kept being pushy wanting us to say yes. We're a struggling family that has been affected by Covid financially and all we agreed to was a free quote. This company has terrible sales tactics. I've seen the company reply to comments like mine saying that's not how they do business but because it's a pattern, I'm sure that's how there trained. I mean what reputable company tells you they want a yes or no and not a maybe. Stay away from this company if you can. read more
