She was so easy to talk to, and she explained (in plain English) what I might expect if I took her advise. She did not try to push surgery but instead recommended a trial period of wearing corrective lenses to see if my eyes would react to the treatment, and if it does then maybe surgery would be a good alternative. She was very pleasant and took her time to answer questions. My eyesight and previous 60 years of treatments are very complex. I am looking forward to continuing with her and excited to follow through with her opinions. I took her advise. She started my appointment on a positive note! It was my first time having a remote appt as well and it was great! doctor was very patient and knowledgeable! Next Sheila helped me pick out my glasses love love her!! She made me feel right at home! Overall I had a great experience compared to other places!! They weren't pushy at all which made me want to buy two pairs of glasses!! I don't like when sales associates are pushy that just makes me uncomfortable and want to leave! I'll definitely be a regular here at this location! I can't wait for my glasses to arrive!! And to try out my new contacts! Also there was no wait time all all! Everything went smoothly!!!

So I signed up for it thinking this was going to be a good alternative to my regular eye Doctor who is more expensive. What a mess. After I developed a condition causing double vision, my ophthalmologist told me that the optometrist at America's Best did a really lousy job of putting a prism in my glasses to serve as a temporary fix. He said I should go back and have them do it again. And then after I had the surgery I brought in my new prescription and they FORGOT to put in the bifocal. Which may contribute to me needing to have this surgery done again. My eye surgeon didn't want my eyes to be strained without the bifocal and now I have to go another week without them because these people cannot do their job properly. Called and spoke to manager Ida. Told her that these lenses were made wrong, and I need them made correctly ASAP. She said I have to come in and be remeasured even though I provided and they do have the correct prescription from my surgeon. She said there was an upcharge for the bifocal, but she was waiving it. I said oh I'm not paying for anything. She said I should be grateful she's not charging me for the up charge for the bifocal & I need to watch my tone. I said I'm not the one yelling. She is. They made a mistake and should be happy to fix it. Not giving me attitude. Their mistake delays my healing, increases my eye strain & increases my chance to need this surgery done again. She said if I'm not happy they can just refund me, and I can go somewhere else for these lenses. She said I don't get to tell her how this works or what I will or won't pay for. To protect my eyes, I swallowed my pride and sat in silence like a good, little girl, and when I left saying nothing she and the other manager sang out a snarky "Have a nice day". Beware. I think I'll just start spending the extra money and going back to the eye doctor & staff I can trust.
