Took my mini van in for an oil change this last weekend. Great service and very reasonably priced. We will go back.

It had an oil leak and the a/c needed Freon. I am an Arizona newbie and wanted to make sure that everything was in tiptop shape. The first bill came in at around $400 and I was ecstatic. But the next day I still had an oil leak and the a/c was marginal at best. I returned to the shop and mentioned that these problems still existed and expressed my disappointment. I reiterated that I wanted a thorough inspection of my 2005 Cadillac De Ville. A different person assessed the vehicle and came up with a new quote. It was. $3k+. I agreed to the repair that included front brakes. $4k later and my engine is idling so rough that it will barely stay running when I start it up. Lucas octane boost has helped a tiny bit. But not enough to clear out the injectors or smooth out the rough idle. I called the shop back and the response was, "Bring it in and we'll give you a cost estimate." Cost estimate?? Are they kidding? $4k should have covered front brakes and a tune up don't you think? Let me conclude by saying my father bought this Caddie brand new and always took brilliant care of it. I inherited it when he passed. It had 56k miles on it when I acquired it a few years ago. I want to take care of it with the same conscientiousness that he did. I've never had such an enormous repair bill in my life and perhaps I could have lived with it if my car ran smoothly. But it doesn't. It's a good thing I can drive a stick because I've had to drive this car slightly pushing the accelerator with my left foot on the brake at red lights just to keep it running. It has always been a lovely, dependable vehicle. I want to hear it running smoothly once again but on a fixed income further financial investment seems crazy and they didn't offer to correct the problem at no charge. In my opinion, $4k should have been enough to cover an inspection, front brakes and a tune up successfully.

Other places were only willing to quote me on cost to run tests or they did not do work on my make model. Very satisfied I decided to go with CB to have my A/C compressor replaced. 1 day turnaround. Extremely friendly and very smooth process. Great communication over phone and via text with photos, videos and clear work order you can approve or decline suggested items. I also like that they are closed on weekends so it means they care about their employees and respect peoples time. Open from 7-6 so manageable for most to be able to drop off and pick up m-f. Shuttle service offered. I didnt need but nice to know. Would go back. Ps service is guaranteed.

UPDATE (11/10/25): I am updating my previous review to reflect the outstanding commitment and…read moreservice provided by Bob (Manager) and his team in resolving a very complex, long-running issue with my van's AC system. The Background (The Challenge): Over several months this summer, my 2016 Sienna required extensive HVAC service, totaling over $6,000. After a full front-end AC replacement and rear AC work, the system was cooling, but new problems arose: significantly reduced airflow and incorrect venting from the defrost vents. Since these issues did not exist before the dash was disassembled for the evaporator replacement, I suspected a reassembly issue. The Resolution (Why They Earned 5 Stars): When I brought the vehicle back, the management team (specifically Bob) stepped up to ensure the problem was addressed fairly. Labor Covered: The labor required to completely tear down and reassemble the dashboard to access and replace this actuator--which is the most expensive part of the repair--was fully covered by Christian Brothers as a warranty adjustment. Fair Compromise: The manager, Bob, proposed a fair compromise to split the cost of the replacement actuator part, saving me hundreds of dollars on the part alone. After investing heavily in my van, it was frustrating to have a subsequent issue. However, the management team at Christian Brothers listened, used the timeline I provided (no error codes before their work, reduced flow immediately after), and honored their responsibility to resolve the problem. This level of accountability and commitment to making the customer whole is why they continue to earn my trust and a 5-star rating. I highly recommend Christian Brothers, especially for their commitment to standing behind their work when issues arise. UPDATE (10/23/25): I've bumped my review to 3 stars because Christian Brothers is working with me to resolve the issue. I'll update the review to reflect the outcome. I've been a longtime customer and have always had excellent service from Christian Brothers in the past, which is why the recent experience with my van's AC system has been so disappointing. After spending over $7,600 and enduring three separate, lengthy visits, the AC system is still not working properly. My initial visit was on June 2nd because the AC wasn't blowing cold air. They replaced the schrader valves and performed an evac and recharge. A few weeks later, the warm air returned. On the second visit, they covered the cost of replacing one of the schrader valves again but then recommended a full replacement of the AC compressor, condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator core for the front system. This was a costly and extensive repair that was severely delayed due to a faulty OEM part being sent, leaving me without my vehicle for about a week. Still, the issue persisted. On the third visit, they determined the problem was with the rear AC system, recommending the replacement of the rear expansion valve and evaporator core. Again, this repair was delayed by a wrong OEM part, extending the time I was without my vehicle yet again. While the system is finally blowing cold air, it is still not functioning correctly following all the extensive repairs: - The airflow is significantly reduced--it no longer blows as hard as it did before these repairs began. This issue seemed to start after the second, major front-end repair. - We now get condensation forming on the windshield when the AC is running. Air is incorrectly coming out of the defrost vents by the window without the defroster being activated. These new operational issues, which were not present before, strongly suggest something was not put back together correctly during the multiple teardowns and rebuilds of the front dash. Given the continuous misdiagnoses, parts delays, and the fact that I've invested over $7,600 for a system that now has new defects, I feel incredibly taken advantage of and very disappointed. I expect the team to stand behind their work and immediately resolve these remaining performance issues at no further cost. But unfortunately they've told me that because it's past 30 days, I will have to pay for any additional labor for the issue they caused.
