This was the only late night food that was open when we were in the area. This is basically a fast food joint that I've never heard of. From what I understand there's a few locations but not many. It's a standard hamburger and hotdog joint with a few other items like bbq and chicken sandwiches. Apparently they're also known for their milkshakes. I went for their combo meal which included a chicken sandwich, a corndog, french fries, and a drink. I decided to try an Oreo shake for my drink. It was OK but nothing to rave about. In fact, all my food was just OK. The thing that struck us most about this place was The ordering and pick up process for your food. You ordered at a counter, but picked up at a different counter. But the way the restaurant was laid out you had to walk around a section of tables. If you go to the order counter, they won't give you your food, even if nobody's there, they make you walk around to the other section of the counter. Odd. My bacon seemed to be undercooked but the flavor of the burger was good, tasted even better with some of their buffalo sauce. I also had a small order of their "cajun fries" and they were delicious! (Adding the buffalo sauce on them made them taste even better as well). Lastly I had a small vanilla milkshake, last time I came here I remembered it being so thick that I couldn't even drink it... so this time I specifically asked for it to be more on the liquid side, lol but no luck today, it was thicker than thick. You must walk around for pick up. I got the double tray. I got grilled onions and cajun seasoning on my burger as well as on my fries. I got the cheese bites which were really good. I got the coke float which is an upcharge and smaller than If you just got a coke. The portions of the sides are small so when you see chicken nuggets or chicken wrap as the side, don't worry its not a huge portion. The burger was delicious with generous toppings. My large cup broke and they replaced it with a small, so that's $3.50 that i'll never see again. Way to stay classy people. And even though it's great that they let people in their lobby until 3 a.m. they were pretty abrasive about telling people that they would have to start leaving when it did get to even 2.15am, and there's a lot of attitudes among some of the employees here. I can see why. The crowd are not too friendly and mostly drunk musicians passing through the city. As for the food. The Cajun chicken sandwich is still as good as it ever was. The banana milkshakes now are not infused with fresh banana but with overly ripe moldy bananas because you can taste the difference. There was a time when fresh banana meant fresh banana and it tasted really good - but that time has long since passed and I can't remember the last time I had a really really fresh banana tasting fresh banana milkshake. Still cheap but not as cheap as they used to be either. The sweet tea is nothing. They used to have the best sweet tea in the land and now it's just watered down crap.
