Daddy is an actual angel. A true vibe. A god among men. Top tier attitude and service and goods. A force to be reckoned with and a treat every time. 10/10

The place to visit when you're craving a hot dog! Large, delicious hot dogs served on high quality, toasted buns. Outdoor seating only at this location. You order your food at one window, pickup your food at another. The menu is solid, with several classic dogs and also some with creative sets of toppings. Staff are friendly and helpful. On this visit, I had the New York Dog (sauerkraut and spicy brown mustard) with added jalapeños. It was delicious! I also added a side of their warm and creamy Mac and cheese. It was much tastier than I expected and I would order it again.

Yummy little place to stop off for a quick lunch! My husband had the Big Daddy Dog with no jalapeno - cream cheese, bacon, pickles, onion, and secret sauce. His dog was great! I wish I had got that one! I had Music City - bacon, cheddar cheese, onions, and BBQ sauce. This would have been really good, but it was cold! Freezing cold sauce, unmelted cheese. I ended up just eating the dog itself with a fork and knife since it was a big cold mess spilling all over the place. We got an order of tots, they were nothing special. I had a chocolate peanut butter whiskey shake that was awesome! She asked if I wanted an extra shot of peanut butter whiskey, why not? I shot it instead of mixing it in the with shake, delish :) The dogs here are huge and priced well. It's definitely a full meal!

Great late night snack! The restaurant looks like it's built from remnants of a gas station and has very unique and quirky decals throughout. Outside covered seating only. Very quick service. We ordered the elote dog and the Chicago dog, and really enjoyed both but especially the elote dog! Tots were as expected and good as well. Appreciate the creativity and convenience of this place!

Yum! Great hot dogs with some creative toppings. I had previously experience Daddy's Dogs at some events in the area, which was sort of a variation on a food truck experience. The location in The Nations is sort of like a permanent food truck installation, in the best way possible. First off, the hot dogs are really good. The meat is really flavorful and large, the bun is huge and good and they toast them nicely, and the range of toppings available is pretty great. I think there's just about something for everyone here when it comes to toppings. The only seating is outdoors, but much of that is covered. You order at a kiosk and pick up around the corner. The service was friendly and my order was prepared promptly. Everything is made to order, so it will be hot when you get it. I opted for the Carolina this time, and at events I've gotten the Music City. Both were excellent. Don't be fooled by the casual vibe of this place. In fact, embrace that casual vibe and come hang out for some tasty food and some fresh air. You might make a friend or two, and you'll surely be full from the large hot dogs and happy with the great taste.

While in Nashville me and some friends grabbed lunch here and were blown away by how good it was! I love hotdogs so I was excited to come try these and they definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the big daddy dog, Mac daddy, and split elote loaded tots with my friends. Both of my hotdogs were SO GOOD. They are pretty large and loaded with yummy toppings. The flavors on both were such good combinations. The buns had a nice toast to them. The elote tots were very good as well. They were loaded with chili, bacon, corn, cheese, jalapeños, and special sauce. If you like elote and tots then you'll love these! It was the perfect combo of flavors. The location we stopped out is a stand with outdoor seating so it's the perfect spot for food on a nice day. If you are in the area and like hotdogs then you have to give it a try!

Got take out from here a little while ago. The staff was helpful in helping me choose my food and I ended up having the Elote with tater tots on the side. I liked the grilled corn which complemented the grilled hot dog and tater tots were super crispy without being hard, but otherwise thought the hot dog was good but not outstanding. Glad I tried this place as it was decent, but not sure I'd go out of my way to go back.

Dropped by here yesterday for lunch. The people here are super friendly. The food is incredible. The hot dog buns are grilled and have that little bit of char on them. Plus the vibe is of the spot is rad -- looks to be an old gas station. I got the Chicago dog, which was great, my daughter loved the New York, and my wife got the Toronto (bacon, maple syrup, and peanut butter). Expert tip if you get the Toronto, ask for some sriracha on top. The added spice counterbalances the syrup perfectly. Would I go back? Without a doubt!

Daddy's dogs is a must eat in the Nations! My favorite is the Elote dog. The tots and special sauce are amazing. Their shakes are also very good! Love the rotating monthly specials. A good place to sit outside with your pup too!

Off-the-chain good. Quality ingredients, hot, a great bun - toasted to pure perfection. A lot of different styles that are both creative and original, and true to age-old versions (an authentic Chicago dog, for instance). Fast, friendly, and their sign out front always makes me laugh. Worth stopping into.

Good 5/5 across the board -- food, service and ambiance. I'll be back to try different dogs. I like that you can order a Miller High Life with you meal!

One of the best dogs in town. The food is always fresh and taTe amazing. I'm not a big hot dog fan but I can definitely eat these any day of the week!

The service was great. I called ahead to place my order and was quoted 10 minutes, but when I arrived I ended up waiting an additional 10-15 minutes for my order. Which was perfectly fine because everything was made fresh. If you go to The Nations location, sit outside and read all their posted signs, you're guaranteed a good chuckle. I ordered the Elote tots and a corndog, which was $18. A bit pricey for a corndog that appeared burnt and breading lacked flavor or a decent taste like most corn dogs you'd find at a carnival or theme park. I would've been content with the Elote tots. They were AMAZING. They look messy, but they are a mess I'm willing to partake in. Honestly, their hotdogs and tots are a game changer. You can do without ever trying the corndog, it's not something I would order again.

Daddy's Dogs delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a late-night Nashville hot dog stand. The dogs are big, have a satisfying snap when you bite into them, and look good enough that you'll be tempted to take a picture before eating them. We both went with the New York Dog: mustard and sauerkraut. Simple. Classic. Delicious. And let's be honest, when it's pushing 2:00 AM, your dining options become a lot more limited. The fact that Daddy's Dogs is there serving hot food when much of the city has called it a night earns points all by itself. Now for the plot twist. By the time we got back to our hotel, both of us were dealing with stomachaches. Coincidence? Maybe. Bad luck? Possibly. The hot dogs tasted great going down, so I'm not ready to convict anyone based on one experience. Still, I can't completely ignore it either. So here's where I landed: Good food. Convenient location. Excellent late-night option. Questionable ending to the evening. Three stars. Because while the dogs were good, my stomach and I are still debating the final score.

It was pretty busy but we were able to snag the last table. We got a bunch of apps starting with the chips and pico/queso, fries, and honey chipotle bbq/ smokin hot wings. The chips/queso and fries were pretty average and nothing more. The wings on the other hand were some of the best I've had. The honey chipotle bbq sauce had the smokey chipotle flavor with the sweet honey bbq taste which was very well balanced. The smokin hot wings were not too hot but had some kick to it. Overall this place was the spot for gameday! We got all this food and a few beers each all for under $100 with tip. The wings were the best but in general it was pretty average all around.

Double Dogs was recommended to us by a local. Therefore, we were eager to try out several menu items. We purchased several items to share. We started out with the tortilla chips served with homemade sausage queso. It was ok. I feel like the flavors didn't all blend together. The sausage chunks were huge as well as the jalapeños. I tried really hard but just couldn't seem to really get into it. Up next were the jalapeño cheese sticks. Now these were really good with or without the dipping sauce. We also had the fried pickles. They were good. Moving on to the meals. I had the wings. Actually, most people in our party had them just in different flavors. The double dog hot was delicious! The Thai garlic had potential. I just think that more sauce needed to be added. We added the buffalo chicken mac and cheese to the order. It was a hit with my glam baby. I liked it as well. Just more cheese please! Finally, I would say that the Philly steak and cheese was good. The service. Hmmmm, it was what made the visit interesting. I am not sure if it's the fact that she was new or she just really didn't understand the process of taking orders and handling money. I am glad that my family and I are an honest bunch. She came over to take our money and each time she would bring the same amount back to us. It was like she never made the transaction. My family member had to walk over to the register with her to explain that once she rings us up, she keep whatever change is left. Nevertheless, she still brought us back change and the ticket amount. This went on for an additional 45 minutes until a manger came over to help her. I hope she's getting the training she needs. Other than that, the ambiance was nice. They had a fire playlist that we enjoyed! It's definitely a cool spot to grab a drink, listen to some music, watch the game and unwind!
