My daughter got the pulled pork mac & cheese. She said it was really good. She would definitely have it again but it's a little pricey for what you get

I was able to try Mac Shack when they were at Arrington and am so glad I did. My Mac was very tasty and ready in about 5 minutes. I went with the classic Mac but the pesto one also sounded delicious. It was a good size portion and came out hot.

Heaven in a truck! Decided to hit this spot up because I was in the mood for a burger but just not any burger. I wanted a unique one so I decided to try the double Mac n cheese burger! The first bite I took felt like I was a new person. Thank you to the cashier in the front for recommending this burger. One of the most underrated food trucks in nashville!

Pretty Good stuff. Loved the Jalapeño mac n cheese. Got the opportunity to try them at the Food Truck Festival in the East (East Nashville). Check 'em out

This is the worst experience I've had with a food truck. The customer service is poor and the food is undercooked. I visited this food truck while in Nashville, TN for a conference. During my visit, I was served a very undercooked burger that I'd ordered without the Mac & Cheese. When I returned to the truck to inform them, I was greeted with arrogance and insult. He proceeded to state all burgers were cooked at a medium temperature. However, there are several issues with this statement: 1. The burger I received was NOT cooked at medium, it was actually RARE and unevenly cooked. 2. Ground Beef should not be cooked at medium. 3. There was no disclaimer posted on your menu to indicate that all burgers are cooked at medium temperature and 4. He did not ask the customer how they want their burger prepared. As he stated "Do you see this line, do you think I have time to ask everyone how they want their burger". Despite, this trucks "opinion" on what medium may "look" like, medium DOES NOT BLEED and that appears to be a common theme for this truck (see photo), it's just covered up with the Mac & Cheese. The icing on the cake was the arrogance of this man to insinuate that I was attempting to get a FREE Burger when he attempted to charge me $7 to remake the burger, after I'd reluctantly accepted that offer. Because in actuality, I just wanted my money back. The reason for the charge was that he accused me of eating half of the burger. However, as I had informed him, the bite I'd taken was wrapped in the napkin inside the container that I'd returned with the undercooked burger that was served to me. After, refusing to pay $7 and minor bickering back and forth, he shoves $15 back into my hand. Thanks for my money back, but next time save the poor customer service and up the temp. on those burgers.

I can kind of take or leave Mac n cheese, but the Pesto Mac is really delicious! I'd happily get it again!

I've tried three different dishes from Mac Shack and they're all great. The buffalo is my favorite, but the barbecue is amazing too!

Daddy's Dogs delivers exactly what you'd hope for from a late-night Nashville hot dog stand. The dogs are big, have a satisfying snap when you bite into them, and look good enough that you'll be tempted to take a picture before eating them. We both went with the New York Dog: mustard and sauerkraut. Simple. Classic. Delicious. And let's be honest, when it's pushing 2:00 AM, your dining options become a lot more limited. The fact that Daddy's Dogs is there serving hot food when much of the city has called it a night earns points all by itself. Now for the plot twist. By the time we got back to our hotel, both of us were dealing with stomachaches. Coincidence? Maybe. Bad luck? Possibly. The hot dogs tasted great going down, so I'm not ready to convict anyone based on one experience. Still, I can't completely ignore it either. So here's where I landed: Good food. Convenient location. Excellent late-night option. Questionable ending to the evening. Three stars. Because while the dogs were good, my stomach and I are still debating the final score.

We were looking for a quick lunch and actually found them on the back patio of the Ole Smoky Distillery/Yee-Haw Brewing Co. We had originally come for Mexican food but the Mexican food spot was closed, so thankfully this became our choice by default. The Chicago Dog with a dill pickle and tomatoes and onions and mustard was packed with savory flavor in every bite. There are very few hot dog shops that understand that only mustard and fresh toppings are the way to go. The bread was also soft but crisped on the inside and very tasty. I don't live locally because if I did I would be here often. I'll be sure to rec DD to anyone passing through Nashville!

They were closed for a bit to restock but when they reopened, I ordered a hot dog, half with sauerkraut half plain. Guy was friendly enough but not too interactive. When the hot dog came out, I wish he had put a little more sauerkraut on the one side but it was really good. The bun was soft and the hot dog had great flavor and just the right amount of bite. Didn't make it to the late-night spot but glad I got to try it and mark it off my list!

I stopped by with some friends on a Wednesday night around 7, and we were some of the first people here. The bar quickly filled up, but it never felt too crowded, and never took more than a few minutes to order at the bar. The drink selection is decent - they have a few drafts, some basic cocktails, and dozens of cans available. Again, everything is reasonably priced, especially for Nashville. Their food menu is bigger than you'd expect, and they're known for their hot dogs! Our group tried several different dogs ... my favorite was the Burnt Ends dog! Simply dressed with a buttery bun and a smoky finish, this is a delicious bar snack. There is a FREE parking lot outside, which is such a rarity in this part of town that it's worth highlighting. However, it looks like it fills up quickly, so if you're planning to visit later in the evening, I recommend ordering a rideshare!

Feel free to show up in shorts and a t shirt. They have darts, a pool table, and tvs all over the bar to keep you entertained while you have one of their house cocktails, local beers, or a bite to eat. They play a variety of music. The rock music played until about 1am at which point it started to switch over to throwbacks and hip hop. Logistics: This bar is located in the heart of Wedgewood-Houston. The staff are attentive and friendly. Unfortunately there isn't a ton of parking here. If you're lucky if you might snag one of the few spots up front. If you want to play it safe, I would recommend an Uber or Lyft. Veggie Banh Mih Hot Dog: I really appreciated that there were vegetarian bar food options available here. I got hungry as the night went on and opted for the veggie banh mih dog. I was a bit disappointed in my choice. The veggie dog felt a bit bland and while the flavors of the sriracha mayo and pickled radish were nice, the hot dog didn't wow me unfortunately. However, they have many fun hot dog flavors on their menu that I'd be willing to go back and try! If you're looking for a place to go over the weekend with some friends, Lucky's is a nice local bar in town to come hang out at!
