The food was delectable! We ordered the tri tip, bbq chicken, baby back ribs, Mac n cheese, bbq beans, coleslaw and rolls for 25 people. Without exception, everything was amazing. I'm always cautious with mac n cheese because it's such a difficult dish to get right, but Don nailed it! It has that soul food flavor that so many chefs can't seem to capture properly. I booked Dads Bbq to cater my Dad's 60th birthday party, and everything was amazing!! I asked a million questions, and Pearl answered them all and even encouraged me to contact them if I had more. They were all so nice and accommodating adding items to my order they don't usually have so I could have something for the kids at the party. The food came labeled and neatly packaged, and they even provided plates and utensils! I ordered ribs, chicken, brisket, hot links, baked beans, Mac and cheese, corn, green beans and a fruit platter and everyone loved the food!! Especially the brisket!! I cannot recommend Dads BBQ enough. I hired them for my sister's baby shower as a drop off order. From the beginning Don was so quick to respond and helpful. The food arrived about 10 minutes before I had requested which I loved the promptness. Everything was warm still and included everything needed to eat and serve plus extra bbq sauce. I ordered the pulled pork, ribs, and chicken thighs for the meats and Mac and cheese and roasted corn off the cob for the sides. Everything was SO delicious. The pulled pork and Mac and cheese were my favorites, but people also raved about the ribs and chicken thighs too. There was still so much food left over too! Events are stressful enough as it is and it can be a little nerve wracking going with a vendor that hasn't personally been recommended from a trusted friend or family member.
