Avoid patronizing this place. The owner is very difficult to deal with. I gave him a little business and I'm sorry I did. The second time I contacted him about purchasing additional components he was an even bigger jerk. I decided to take my hard-earned dollars elsewhere. Even though I paid a little more at another place, I was treated with respect and my business was appreciated. Not so at Dad's Wholesale. Hey Don, if you're reading this, please know that I spend a ton of cash every year on reloading components. You won't be getting any of that money because of the way I was (mis)treated. Since I reload for a few handgun & rifle calibers, components were getting very difficult to replenish during the last 12-15 months due to the pandemic..found this place while doing an internet search for local sources of reloading components. Upon calling the business I was surprised to find that they had some components that I needed to complete my reloading projects just after the full blown supply shortages started. Since that time I have been able to keep my "component inventory" pretty much intact....would highly recommend anyone needing powders, primers and projectiles to check this place out! read more

It is not the traditional retail store where you can come in and expect everyone to cater to your every need and feeling, but if you show respect for their service and expertise, you will be treated in kind. The guy who runs this place is a mean old man. In no way does he attempt to make you feel comfortable but rather, he wants you to get out. The shop is old and filthy. Make sure you pay attention because he will to charge you more than what he quoted. As far as the ammo, you get what you pay for. read more

Pretty much one of the most arrogant business owners I've ever met. Don does not appreciate clarifying questions and in the end, I'd prefer to conduct business with someone that A) appreciates potential clients that have a need to buy, B) is willing to answer questions (even clarifying ones) w/o getting annoyed, and C) doesn't have the mentality that "I'm the only guy in town with powder in stock" (direct quote from Don). Don clearly has a "good luck finding it if you don't buy from me attitude". No thanks in my opinion. The wait for powder is not a big deal; spending my (or yours) hard earned money with a business that conducts itself as Don does IS a big deal.
