Their brick and mortar is small but the staff and the food pack a real punch. Their menu includes different varieties of tacos, fish dishes, burritos, and more and everything is done authentically. We got their asada and carnitas tacos and it all starts with their homemade corn based tortillas that they fry in fat which makes them chewy and filled with flavor. Their toppings are simple and classic so you can really taste the flavors of the meat + seasonings. We also got an order of chips and a trio of their salsas - my favorite was the tomatillo which had a nice tangy kick to it. One of our favorites in the triad!

Bao Yeah offers not only bao but bowls and fried chicken as well. Their ordering (via tablet) is convenient, and they turn around orders quickly. I went with a three-piece bao, which allowed me to sample the two fried chicken varieties (K*Bomb with gochujang and Garlic Gang with soy black garlic) as well as the bulgogi. All of the bao were amply stuffed with meat and pickled vegetables and slathered with tasty sauce. The thick buns held everything in place, so eating was not too sloppy an endeavor. Everything delivered the expected flavors - sweet heat from the K*Bomb, a tangier note from the bulgogi - and the fried chicken boasted a thick, crunchy batter. It was quite tasty though the chicken was definitely a bit dry. At least the bulgogi was nice and tender. All told, Bao Yeah is a promising newish addition to the Triad food truck scene. It may not be the best Korean street food you've ever had, but you're in for a flavorful meal without a long wait.

The food was all pretty solid - nachos loaded with pork, BBQ pork tacos, and a strangely satisfying Cuban sandwich. The nacho plate was pretty - presented with some craft. Prices were on point for a food truck - around $8-9 for most entries. Too bad the woman taking the orders had such a sh-tty attitude. Talk about a grumpasaurus. Jeez. I'll still give 'em four stars for food, price and presentation. Not to mention, their truck is really cool looking. But man, that crabby woman nearly ruined the meal. She was impressed with their posts and they made it easy to navigate their weekly schedule. We arrived shortly after 4pm on a Saturday afternoon at 801 Silas Creek Parkway in Winston. There were several cars there but no line. We approached the food truck and started looking over the menu. Everything they do features birria style meat. Neither of us have much experience ordering birria style dishes but the young man at the window was helpful in his recommendations on what to order for now and what dishes would save best for leftovers. We went with his recommendation to share the quesadilla now and order the tacos for later. The prices range from $12-15 per item but they also have a birria pizza for $35 which looks large enough to feed several people. We paid with a credit card and we're provided a small device that alerts customers when their orders are ready. This was the first time we have ever received something like this and though it was brilliant because so many times you order at a food truck you are stuck standing close by so you can hear your name when the order is ready. Our food was prepared in a timely manner and we decided to drive up the road before eating. When we opened up our containers everything looked incredible. We immediately dug in and the quesadilla was full of delicious ingredients and flavor. I took a few pictures of my tacos but saved them for later. I'm happy to report that they were delicious heated up. We will absolutely be back soon to try even more!

I am a big fan of chorizo and well I am also a big fan of queso, but had never had them together. It had a little bit of a kick to it but, nothing too crazy; it really complimented the juicy burger well. The other burger on the menu that caught my eye is the breakfast burger. Their burgers are incredible and the service is fantastic. My favorite burger that I've had from Camel City is a take on Ben's Pimento Burger. You simply go up and say "I'd like the Ben's Pimento Burger 'Ben's Way'." Chances are you will be speaking to Ben himself, so there won't be any issues on him understanding you. Ben's way is the normal Ben's Pimento Burger, but instead of using the regular brioche bun they use a grilled pimento cheese sandwich as the top bun and a grilled pimento cheese sandwich as the bottom bun. Ben's way isn't for those who have heart problems or even who are worried about heart problems, but for the rest of you it is delicious! The pimento cheese is incredible here. It is chipotle pimento and is a great amount of spice. After eating this burger Ben's way, I immediately crashed and took a 3 hour nap. Clear your schedules people. It is totally worth it though. For a day when you can't take a 3 hour nap, their other burgers are delicious as well. The second best option, in my opinion, is the PBB&J Burger. This is a burger with homemade peanut butter, red pepper jelly, and bacon. This may seem like an odd combo of ingredients, but they seriously come together perfectly. I think that I could just sit around all day dipping that bacon in the pepper jelly. I haven't tried many of their sides, but I would recommend the Southern Style Potato Salad. The food here is creative, inspired, and delicious. The service is seriously some of the best that I've experienced from a food truck. They seem to have a system down. I've seen them serve dozens of hungry patrons quickly and with a smile. The owner of the truck, Ben, seems like a genuine guy and seems to sincerely enjoy what he does. Plus, he's a Tar Heel which is reason enough to support him. Do yourself a favor and figure out where Camel City Grill is going to roll up to next and make sure you are there.
