Dahlia Lounge on the 16th floor of Gran Destino Tower with a sunset view
    Karen V.

We absolutely loved the service, view, and atmosphere here! I know it's meant to be a lounge. I'm sure the cocktails are very good here. It was the tapas that left a lot to be desired. We selected it for a light dinner based on all the great reviews. Unfortunately, the food was "no muy bueno." Shrimp Pil Pil - I appreciated the size of the shrimp. The sauce had a bitter taste that we couldn't discern. It just wasn't even close to being authentic. Dahlia Sliders - They were presented well. The burger itself had this fake charcoal taste. The burger buns were perfectly toasted. The toppings had mixed reviews between us. The patatas bravas served with the sliders were just french fries with a drizzle of sauce on them. The sauce wasn't smoky, nor spicy. It was filling. We will go back one day when the menu changes, or just for drinks. It really has a beautiful view. The food was just not what we were expecting.

I love this lounge. The drinks are quite good and the food is quite good as well. It has great views of walt Disney world and makes for a beautiful setting to enjoy some cocktails with some friends. The service is always good as you would expect from Disney. It is a tad bit expensive to frequent but would highly recommend for a special occasion

If you are looking for a romantic area for a significant other this would be the place but choose the rooftop. I met friends here to have drinks and watch the fireworks. The bar menu is pretty versatile and the staff is pretty on top of things.

Dahlia Lounge is on the 15th floor at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, in the Grand Destino Tower. The view is my favorite across all property. MY wife and I love this place and try and frequent as much as possible. Parking is hit or miss with security and not having a reservation. Later in the evening, we usually don't have much issue with security when we let them know we are going to Dahlia Lounge, but if they stop you, you will have to take an Uber, park at a theme park/ Disney Springs and take a bus over. We have sadly not been here in a few months but came over last weekend to some sad news. Some of our favorite items on the menu have been removed or changed. My wife asked the server why they were removed, and she did not know either. One of the items we used to love was the toasted baguette with Manchego cheese and serrano ham, literally my favorite sandwich ever! They also changed the flavor and texture of their wings. They used to be a crispy fried wing that was full of breading and had the most delicious sauce. Now their wings are nonbreaded with a sweet and spicy honey sherry glaze. I personally did not mind them, they were not my favorite wing sauce, but it was ok, I would get them again. However, my wife absolutely hated them, she did not like the flavor, and it did not sit well with her. Disney if you are listening, bring the sandwich back and the old wings, please! Something new though on the menu, however, were their churros. These came with 3 larger churros, which were light, airy and crunchy. They also came with a chocolate dipping sauce. These were really good; I am not a sweet fan, but these were good. I only had a small piece, but I enjoyed it. My wife however, absolutely loved these and said she would order them over and over. I also noticed that had new croquettes and sliders, which we will be trying next time we visit. Their drinks are pretty standard for a Disney bar, they have wine and beer as well as a full bar. They do have a few specialty drink options, including a favorite cocktail of mine- Create-Your-Own Old Fashioned. For this we got to choose from five (5) Whiskeys, five (5) Simple Syrups, and five (5) Bitters, however, they were out of a couple of the bitters. A friend of ours also ordered it as well. We both enjoyed it and made a good combination, but I feel the portion was way too small for the price. My wife ordered the Espresso Martini. Theirs had Stoli Vanil Vodka, Bols Crème de Cacao White Liqueuer, Simple Syrup, and Espresso. Espresso Martinis are one of her favorites and she really loved it. I actually ordered one as well and I agree, very good! All in all, this is one of my favorite bars. If you grab a table outside, don' leave all night. You can watch fireworks from here, you can sit and relax on the couch style seating, and you can enjoy the beautiful breeze. I really enjoy this lounge and will for sure be coming back. You should totally check it out. Aces!

Staff is very welcoming. They offer indoor and outdoor seating as well as a bar to seating. Many come here to enjoy fireworks. Nice quiet bar for those trying to relax and have a drink or a small bite. Create Your Own Old Fashioned- 10/10 They had many options to create your own concoction. I had our bartender Carlos take the wheel and surprise me. He prepared a great old fashioned and all I chose were the bitters. Calamari- 7/10 Fried to perfection just needs some type of seasoning in the batter or on the calamari once it comes out of the fryer. The sauces are where all the flavor is at.

The boujee bar on the 15th floor outside of the restaurant Toledo (best steaks ever there!). I say boujee but people were dressed in all sorts of casual clothing. It just looks boujee. The place was packed already but we were able to get a couch seat. Seating outside on the overlook was all taken and the "fireworks" were about to take place at Hollywood Studios. Luckily some bar seating opened up not long after we got our drinks so our server helped us move there. I originally was not going to eat but half way through a glass of wine I decided that I wanted something. I ordered the Tapas Trio (Octopus Ceviche, 'Aceitunas' Marinated Olives, Tomato Spread with Grilled Bread). The best item to me on the board was, you guessed it...the octopus. I haven't had it in ceviche form but I was doing a little happy dance in my bar chair. Sitting there I was getting hypnotized by the Roy Disney/Salvador Dali animation that was on loop on the tv. It's weird but intriguing. Then someone requested the NCAA basketball tourney on the bigger tvs so I snapped out of it. Definitely a nice place to hang out.

Very beautiful open lounge with the friendliest bartenders! I walked in right at 5 and was their first customer of the day. We stayed at the tower so it was a no brainer that I had to drop by and check out the scenery. My little one and husband were exhausted from a day at the pool so while they napped in the room, I snuck up to takeout some food for dinner and grab a drink. Their espresso martini was poured and tasted to perfection. I had a nice little chat with one bartender who told me a few fun facts about the bar and the parts of the Disney parks I can spot from the balcony outside. Great service all around even from just my 10 minutes at the bar. I read great reviews about the ham and cheese sandwich so I was so excited to try this... i left a bit disappointed since I felt like this was simply charcuterie packaged inside a baguette. The components were yummy with the prosciutto and brie, but there wasn't a spread or anything super special about it... made for a good snack tho! The wings were delicious and had a hint of citrus/lemon as an aftertaste. It was super saucy and crunchy. I would order this one again.

Ponche de Fruta (non-alcoholic) delicious and refreshing.

Nice ambiance. No dress code...most people are theme park goers so you'll see a lot of shorts and t-shirts. Although if there's a convention in town, you'll definitely be able to differentiate who are the business people. There are both indoor and outdoor seating. No reservations, every seat is first come first serve. The outside view is gorgeous as you can overlook parts of Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Even if you may not be able to score an outdoor seat, you can see roam outside to check out the view. Small tapas menu. But extensive beverage list..wine, beers, cocktails and a few non alcoholic beverages too. Really enjoyed the jalapeño croquettes. It's not a burn-your-tongue spicy but there's def some spice flavoring to it. Comes with four pieces so it's perfect to share but still a good portion to have all to yourself.

Dahlia Lounge is located at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. It is on the 15th floor of the main tower. The view itself should make you want to run here! This is another favorite of ours, which we try and frequent as much as possible. Parking is hit or miss. If they will not let you in, you will have to take an Uber, park at a theme park or Disney Springs and take a bus over. We came here recently again and were actually really sad. They were also really popular, so I don't really know why they were removed. I actually asked the server, and she did not know either. One of those items was the toasted baguette with Manchego cheese and serrano ham. This was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had and will completely miss it! They also changed their wings. I also noticed that had new croquettes and sliders, which we will have to try next time. Their drinks are pretty standard, they have wine and beer as well as a full bar. Went there for a quick drink while waiting for our reservation at Toledo. The CM's there were friendly. The view is freaking awesome. Only downside it was windy but they can't control that at all. Quick service and drink was good. I would go there again.

Let's get a cocktail at 8:30 and go stand out on the balcony to watch the Fireworks. That's what you got here. You see the end of park shows from the parks and no hassle of crowds. Just a nice, expensive, cocktail. The balcony is nice as well, seating for those that come first. Overall, this is a gem to have a drink and watch the fireworks show from a distance. Unlike some other resorts, this one's audio is not directly tied in though.

We had reservations at toledo so we went here for a pre dinner drink on valentines day. The specialty cocktails were delicious. The drinks took a while to come out so we got the chance to enjoy the ambiance. It is open seating so you don't have to wait for a hostess but you may have to order at the bar and stand with it.

    Enjoying the lounge!

The real reason I could not even give this spot a 4, is because of the service. Our server could offer no alternatives for appetizers other than the cheese sticks. He also gave me someone else's beer and gave one of our friends cheese sticks to some one else. He also got our bills mixed up and could not keep our id's straight. I usually pick either a specialty beer or make a cocktail with the liquors they have. My wife usually chooses the specialty drinks. We have always enjoyed the drinks at this bar. Some of their drinks are pre batch made but for batch-made drinks, they are not terrible and still pack a nice little punch. Recently we ordered the Prickly Pear Margarita, which was originally designed to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American cultures. This was meant to be a limited time drink and it is still available, but I have no idea for how long. It is really good, one of the better drinks we have had. Hopefully it is popular so it will stay on the menu permanently. Another popular drink is the Ngumu Jungle Juice. This one is also very refreshing and a good one to order if you are unsure. I would definitely recommend this bar. They have great drinks, really friendly bartenders, lots of seating at the bar and also around it. It is perfect to grab before waiting in line for the safari or Lion King show. You cannot bring drinks into the Lion King Show but if there is a line, this is the perfect stop while you wait. If you don't arrive early, you may be placed on a virtual waitlist, which can reach three or four hours. Once you're called, you have about 15 minutes to arrive before they move on to the next party. Wait times can be accurate--or wildly inaccurate--so it's best to stay nearby. The theming is fantastic, and the atmosphere is full of energy. Many of the special effects depend on the cast members interacting with guests, so visiting earlier in the day is a good idea while everyone is still at peak energy. Last time we were here we did see a few people order food to go probably back to their room. Something my wife and I always have to order is the Parker House Rolls and Spreads which has three spreads and 5 rolls. The spreads include Bacon Jam, Pub Cheese, and Citrus Butter. These are so good and actually one time we stayed we ordered these every single night, they are that good. The spreads are great on their own but even better when you mix them. I would prefer the rolls to be hot but they are still great. We also ordered the Truffle Fries served with with Roasted Shallot Mayo and the meatballs which has a porcini and parmesan cream sauce, pickled mushrooms, and chive oil. Both are really delicious and easy to share or even have both as your meal. The last thing we ordered was the flatbread. They have a seasonal flatbread which was French onion soup but we found out they also offer just a pepperoni flatbread which is not on the menu. This was a great flatbread, really cheesy, great flavor, not too heavy on the pepperoni but really good overall.
