Stopped here midday at Hollywood Studios for something to hold us over until dinner. This is a causal bar type place where you just go up and order at the bar. We got the Bavarian pretzel to share which was huge and delicious. It came with mustard and cheese to dip in. My husband and I also got 2 of the wild strawberry lemonades and got vodka added to them. It's been a few years so time for an update. Baseline Tap House is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios and is just a bar with drinks and snacks. It is located near the entrance to Star Wars and kiddie corner to Star Tours, directly next to Sci Fi Drive In. The line can get long but will move fast. My wife and I prefer to rope this spot of come in the evening before park close. I prefer to get beer flights. Some of my favorites include: Golden Road Hefeweizen, North Coast Red Seal Ale, Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing IPA, Stone Delicious IPA, Golden Road Mango Cart or North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner. Honestly they are all pretty good! MY wife always goes for a cocktail. She loves the strawberry hibiscus soda, which is non-alcoholic, and adds Tito's to it and make it a cocktail and will always do a double for around $3-4 more! For food we always go for the large pretzel with cheese and mustard. Its a great price, really large, served warm, its soft and salty and served with cheese and mustard. You can ask for a second cup of either for no additional cost. In the last year, they have changed their charcuterie board and I personally prefer the previous version but this one is also really good. It now comes with Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese, Mt Tam Brie, Midnight Moon Goat Cheese, Sopressata Salami, Sliced Bresaola, Blueberry Compote, Onion Jam, and Bread and Butter Pickles with Lavash. Their last food item is the "Avenue Chips" which is House-made Ranch Kettle Chips served with Beer Cheese Fondue. Not a great portion for the price but these are ok, I would say get the pretzel instead. All in all this is a great bar to relax, sit and people watch or grab a drink or a snack, just a great atmosphere. It gets really nice in the evening when the sun is setting and it's not as hot. This place was so good! the outside patio and string light decor is 10/10 and i love how there is so much seating and views of old hollywood. The line moved quick and the servers were friendly. I just needed a quick snack, so i had their bavarian pretzel. It was big, warm, salty, buttery... 10/10. I loved the cheese sauce it came with. We make this a beloved stop in Hollywood Studios. The patio has plenty of shade. You buy your beer from the beer tender and sit outside to drink. Real beer. Mmmm. You can also get a glorious pretzel. It's been a few years so I felt like an update was due! Baseline Tap House is located at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is a bar and nothing else. They have drinks and just a couple different snacks. It is located near the entrance to Star Wars and across from the new area being built, Monsters INC. The line is usually pretty long but it moves fast at times. If you can get here at open or when the line is short, do it, do not skip it! There is also seating outside and a few tables inside. The atmosphere is a tap house, with dark woods and brick, tap room/jazzy music playing. Their menu is very small, specializing in beer, but they there are a few batch-made cocktails and a small selection of liquor. My personal favorite is the strawberry hibiscus soda, which is non-alcoholic, but I like to add Tito's to it and make it a cocktail. You can also make it a double for around $3-4 more! My husband usually goes for one of the beers or sometimes if we plan on sitting there one of their flights. They do offer beer flights which is really great because you can choose a few different beers to try. For food, one of the best prices at Disney is the large pretzel with cheese and mustard. It is so good, served warm, its soft and salty and a really great pretzel. Much better than the Mickey Shaped Pretzels. They have also changed their charcuterie board recently and I think changed for the worse. They should bring the old one back. IT now has Point Reyes Original Blue Cheese, Mt Tam Brie, Midnight Moon Goat Cheese, Sopressata Salami, Sliced Bresaola, Blueberry Compote, Onion Jam, and Bread and Butter Pickles with Lavash. This place would have been a miss if it wasn't for my Yelp friend Nadine. She posted a review about tonic water. Her relative gets leg cramps and swears by the tonic. I also get leg cramps if I walk a long distance. We left Star Wars and I could feel the cramp messing with my stride. I remembered that any bar would have it. Baseline to the rescue! The pretzel is best on property and if you ask they can double the beer cheese. And the only thing cheesy-er is the breathy musak versions of 90s songs that make one laugh. Always a favorite! Pictured are 2 beer flights, meaning every beer/cider on tap in a sampler portion, the meat and cheese plate, and the pretzel, double cheese. This is a must do every time I'm at Disney for multiple reasons. The food is simple but affordable and a great snack for a long park day. This establishment has indoor and outdoor seating which I love and I usually try to score a seat inside. They have ample areas to charge a phone or a mobility device, and it's a great way to cool off. They offer free filtered water, which is another plus, because a lot of quick services at the parks do not filter their water and that can be tough to drink. They did recently change their meat and cheese plate, and while I do like some of the changes I think the cheese was better on the original plate. They had toasted slices of bread for the crackers, and now they have these tasteless crackers that just don't live up to their predecessor. Most of the time you'll find the same Beer insider on top, a few of them are seasonal, so you will have a tap change every now and then. I would love to see more of a variety of beer at this establishment, but at the same time it's nice to go somewhere knowing what I want and what I like. The staff is typically very friendly and accommodating this is a really great spot to chill. They have really nice low-key acoustic renditions of popular songs playing, and while it can get pretty loud during peak times, if you go at an off time, it can be a really relaxing place to recharge before you get back out into the parks. read more

I try to limit snacking at Disney because it's expensive and usually mediocre food, but by 10:30am my toddlers had already depleted my goldfish supply so we had to feed them since our lunch reservation was not until 1pm. Unfortunately many restaurants don't open until 11am, but then we stumbled across Baseline Tap House. I realize the obvious snack spot for toddlers is not at a taproom, but it was open and there wasn't a line (because most people don't drink beer for breakfast). The pretzels looked hot and fresh so we ordered a soft pretzel with beer cheese and spicy mustard and a charcuterie platter. I also ordered a hard cider since it was 5 o'clock somewhere and I figured it would pair well with the food. Our food wasn't "just ok"; it was really good! The pretzel was amazing since it was most likely straight out of the oven because the taproom had opened mere minutes before our arrival and the charcuterie board might have been better than the one I got at Chefs de France in Epcot.
