Stopped here for a drink and quick bite. The server was fantastic! I had a glass of a sparkling red. I asked the server if the truffle fries were GF. She said yes and they came out with an allergy stick. They were seasoned really well and the dipping sauce was also really good. The menu doesn't indicate anything GF but the server was very knowledgeable.

Love that they have vegan options. Came here just for those. A+ for that. Did not love the sour cherry mush that was served with their vegan dessert but the chocolate covered whipped cream part was good (although the name of this dessert led us to believe that it would be chocolate inside and not whipped cream. 5 stars for having a vegan options and for being able to order food at the lounge!

This place is inside the Yacht Club. Smaller bar, but has some tables as well & a few tvs throughout. We stopped in for lunch. Had a couple of beers / wine & I ordered a salad & hubby ordered a burger. Everything was really good. Service was fine too.

This is an amazing place to escape the heat and take a needed break--whether it's the middle of the day or later. Ale & Compass Lounge has amazing drinks & delicious food as well as bar appetizers. Deb was our server. She was wonderful. She was very knowledgeable of the drinks & food menu. She also provided us with excellent service throughout the afternoon. The truffle fries were fresh, hot & delicious and a generous portion. The drinks (Captain's Mai Tai & Maple Old Fashioned) were strong & made prefectly. The ambience is old school yacht club (very dark, cool & comfortable). Highly recommend as a destination or if you are staying at Disney's Yacht Club!

I love this place. The ambiance is cozy and the dark interiors are lush and luxe. The drinks are also just as good. I usually like the pomegranate margarita since that's not something common on a drink menu and it's great. The service is also great, and I expect nothing less from Disney. This is a great place to grab a drink before your dinner reservation at either Ale and compass or Yachtsman steakhouse.

Service was friendly and the food disappointing. My chips were hard and flavorless but my burger was very good; however my wife's meal wasn't. The bun on her burger was very hard for some reason, and by the time the waitress brought out a new one my wife has already earned her burger (without a bun) as it was either a warm burger with no bun or a cold burger with one. The fries were also very overcooked and hard. This is the first poor Disney experience we have had and hopefully a fluke...

A cozy spot found within Disney's Yacht Club hotel. What makes this place stand out is that it has very dive bar like feel but with of course the charm and decor of Disney. Perfect for a little break or just a quick escape with some food and drinks. Atmosphere: Themed with a nautical style, a small dive like area (pun intended) complete with limited seating and a small bar. Food: Great food that won't run your wallet through as many places at Disney do. I really enjoyed the chicken bbq flatbread, quite filling and tasty especially for the price paid. Just enough to call it a day or get something in you to begin adventuring again. Service: Disney service again, attentive and helpful and detailed with any questions. Perfect for a quick venture in the lounge. The Ale and Compass Lounge really surprised me in terms of a quick dive place on Disney property. Initially I expected something similar to their fast service, but was surprised by the quality and service, much more catered toward an older crowd to enjoy and take a break. If I need an escape for the day I now know the perfect place to do so.

We really enjoyed this place. The drinks were really good, it had a cool atmosphere, there was plenty and seating, and it is indoors. We will definitely be back to try more!

Stopped in for a drink after a night at Epcot. Love the cozy vibe in here with plenty of tables. We ordered a couple beers along with a few specialty drinks, the one I ordered with gin was delicious. We also ordered the house rolls as a snack which were pretty tasty. My husband loved the bacon jam and I liked the Citrus butter. Good service and nice food and drink options if you're near Yacht Club

We came here in hopes of grabbing dinner on a busy night, and we lucked out finding a table! I love the vibes here, it's relaxing and makes you feel like you're in a fancy living room. Our server was excellent! She was very attentive and sweet. Bar bites are offered, with a burger being their only larger menu item. We all ordered the burger because we were starving, and oh my, it was huge! I was so full after eating half, but I ended up eating the whole thing because it was too yummy to stop. The fries were thick and also delicious. The seasoning was great! I definitely ate more than I should have, but it's been awhile since I've had something this good! I ordered the pomegranate margarita which was great! There was a decent amount of tequila in it, so I only had one. They also have mocktails here.

A little bar of the main area of the resort but it has such a cool vide and after being in the parks all day it is a great spot to unwind. Servers and bartenders are awesome and super friendly. The food was also very good. We were just looking to nibble since we were eating all day at Epcot but they had some unique bites we had to try. We have to have the lobster bisque. It is one of those things we love to try whenever we see it on a menu. This one was really good. Big chunk of lobster right in the middle. Thick and creamy. Next we tried the buffalo cauliflower. Delicious! Cooked perfectly. Just a little crunchy and not mushy, Again a solid spot to unwind after the park with great food, great service and really good bartenders.

We came here for a light dinner on our first night in Disney. At first we weren't sure if you had to order at the bar for everything, but after we sat ourselves someone came pretty quickly to take our order. I had the Lobster and Corn Chowder. The soup was great and came with two house-made oyster crackers which were fresh and flaky and totally unlike the packaged oyster crackers we're used to. Also had a slice of the Vegetable Flatbread which someone else in my party ordered and thought it was really good too. The space is a little packed, but there's still a nice atmosphere which makes it a great alternative to a proper table service meal at the resort.

I really wanted the Seasonal Espresso Martini trio, but there is NO WAY in heck I'm shelling out $30 for 3 extremely small, mini drinks. You have got to be kidding me with that price! We actually had The Viper, Midnight Relic & The Dark Forest Dip. Our bill was nearly $60 dollars! Although the food and drinks did end up being VERY good, the prices are ridiculous, even for Disney. I like stopping in for the seasonal offerings, but as a vegetarian with a normal job, this place had lost some of its appeal for me.

At the entrance to his cave, I had to disarm several traps, including floor spikes, poison darts, and a tablet demanding a 25% tip--with no obvious option to leave no tip. Fortunately, I discovered the hidden button in the bottom-right corner, written in 8-point Times New Roman. At last, I reached the altar containing the legendary treasure chest. When I opened it, I found a shirt that read, "I'd Rather Be at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar," along with flyers for the Halloween and Christmas events. That discovery led me to this wonderfully themed bar. This is a double review covering both the Halloween and Christmas events. These events used to be relatively easy to attend, but thanks to social media influencers, they have become extremely popular. The lines can get enormous, especially from Friday through Sunday. My advice is to visit Tuesday through Thursday and arrive early. The food was great, and the presentation--especially for the Halloween offerings--was fantastic and definitely Instagram-worthy. The specialty drinks were delicious and surprisingly strong for a Disney restaurant, although they do come with the expected Disney price tag. I've also visited when the bar wasn't decorated for a holiday, and it was still a great time. The regular food offerings are just as good, and the portions are fairly generous. The standard drinks are also perfectly enjoyable. If the weather isn't too hot, I recommend sitting outside by the lake. You'll have a beautiful view of the boats passing by, and the scenery around sunset is incredible. A fantastic spot for food, drinks, atmosphere, and the occasional archaeological revelation.

We arrived hungry and decided to try several food options, and I have no complaints. Everything was beautifully plated, tasted fresh, and was full of flavor. Disney did an excellent job designing the space--it feels like an upscale, contemporary version of Epcot. This may be my favorite lounge on Disney property. We visited at night during a red moon. After my second drink, I felt the spirit of Walt Disney speaking to me. He recommended another drink and suggested mixing some honey and mustard with a piece of bread, then layering it with prosciutto, mozzarella, and a black olive. It completely blew my mind. He then recommended another drink, and for a brief moment, I found myself standing with Walt on top of Spaceship Earth. He put his arm around my shoulder, leaned in, and asked if I happened to have the time. It was a moment I'll never forget. Either that, or the drinks were stronger than advertised.

There were a lot of drinks with a variety of liquors for different folks. They also have a full bar, so if you don't see it on the menu ask - I did and got an expresso martini which was delicious. We really enjoyed our food and drinks, but we felt that the chairs were a little uncomfortable. They felt too high or the table too low to be comfortable. It is a higher price point, which we do not mind, but it is not going to be something we are alwasy going to do (especially since we can't always come without the kids). It ended up a great date day at the park.

As the hostess walked away from our table, she commented that our group was going to be "nothing but a problem." The basis for that assumption? One member of our party had simply helped clear and organize the table to make the seating process easier and faster for the staff. Yes, we were a lively group. We were on vacation, having a great time at Disney, laughing and enjoying each other's company. What we were not was intoxicated. The situation escalated when one of our friends was accused of being drunk and our entire party of 10 was asked to leave. The problem is that she wasn't intoxicated at all. What makes this especially troubling is that our friend has worked incredibly hard to maintain her sobriety and recently celebrated 12 months alcohol-free through AA. To be publicly accused of being drunk after reaching such a significant milestone was humiliating, heartbreaking, and completely unnecessary. When we brought our concerns to the General Manager, Scott, we expected leadership. We expected someone who would take a moment to assess the situation, listen to both sides, and use his own judgment. Instead, he simply stated that he trusted his employees and made no effort to independently evaluate what had happened. A manager's job isn't to blindly accept accusations. A manager's job is to gather facts, assess the situation, and make informed decisions. In this case, Scott failed to do that. As a result, the restaurant lost a party of 10 customers. More importantly, they deeply hurt someone who has spent the last year fighting for her sobriety. That's the part of this experience we won't forget. Everyone makes mistakes. Great restaurants acknowledge them, learn from them, and treat people with dignity. Unfortunately, this experience was defined by assumptions, poor judgment, and a complete lack of empathy from both the staff and management.
