This review rating is purely based on the staff member/dental hygienist. I will not name her because every employee will know exactly who I am referring to. I'll start by saying that this Dentist was highly recommended for good reason. I drive in excess of 30 minutes to get to this location. Mind you, there are probably over 20 other options that I pass during the drive. I arrive on time and wait for over 20 minutes. When I was called, I received the routine x-rays (No acknowledgment of the wait). I was told to wait up front and I would be called when a room was available. I returned to the waiting room and spent some more time waiting. She returned and called me back. Upon entering the room, I asked about the scheduled procedure for the day. The employee immediately gave me an attitude and stated it's a routine cleaning. I questioned the timing and informed her that I have a 30 minute drive and just wanted to get an idea of the length of time. She became very defensive and had an attitude with me. Rather than engaging with an angry and aggressive hygienist, I immediately ended the appointment. There ABSOLUTELY NO WAY I was about to allow any individual to perform any "professional" services on me. She generally seems pretty miserable but this was too much. I refuse to make a lengthy drive, passing countless other options to be treated by a miserable seeming person with an attitude issue. I'll find somewhere close to home and save on time and gas. DDS Bui has always been great but this staff member is horrific with simple people skills. I will not be back. read more

I just want to take a moment to thank this office for the excellent service and support. This past Monday I cracked my tooth, they went ahead and found an open slot for me to diagnose, and scheduled me the next day and resolved my aching tooth. Not only was Dr Bui professional, he was understanding of the pain I had and assured me everything will be ok, even offering options for the future to put me at ease. The whole staff is very professional and attentive, from the front office to the dental assistants and the hygienist goes above and beyond to provide extremely professional care and detailed communication. You can tell she has years of experience and knows what she is doing. Sometimes we take for granted this field of industry and only think of ourselves and our needs. These people help hundreds and hundreds of people every day and we think we are the only ones who need help and because we paying, we are entitled to think they need to drop everything they are doing to help us. Any negative review you see clearly you can see they have tunnel vision. Dr. Dai Bui is an excellent dentist. I've been looking all over for a dentist I can trust and I've finally found him! He doesn't push to have unnecessary dental work done so he can make money off of you. I've gone to dentists where they try to charge me for everything, even for a "special" mouth rinse and strongly recommend procedures that weren't even necessary. Not only is Dr. Bui trustworthy, he is also very personable and gentle. While replacing some of my fillings from years back, he would constantly ask if I was doing okay, if I was feeling any pain, if I needed a break, so on and so forth. I can tell that he enjoys being a dentist and cares for his patients. He's also a Lakers fan, so a plus for all you Laker fans out there! read more

Took my wife here to have her braces on. I really don't mind to drive one hour for her monthly check up. The office is clean, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Bui is very nice, very professional. He took his time and make sure you feel comfortable and happy with the results. The price is also reasonable. I had my first visit with dr. Bui today and wow am I happy went! Normally I hate dentists they make me nervous I hate the drilling sound I hate the pinches in my mouth. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed by the front desk staff whom are also dental assistants. They were warm and friendly and immediately I felt comfortable, it didn't feel like my first visit, more like I've been going there for years! Once I saw the Dr he was very informative and open about his opinion for my treatment, he gave me options and wasn't pushy at all! Dentist was great! Extracted top and bottom wisdom tooth on my left side there. He took them out less than 30 minutes. No pain at all! He was very attentive and kept asking if I was hurting or if I felt anything which was comforting. Definitely recommend and will go back soon! read more

It's a simple office with a small staff, but everyone is working diligently and professionally. Dr. Bui is very gentle, attentive, and caring. Every time when I come back for a new treatment, he always looks back at the old ones, and makes sure that everything is fine. Sometimes, it is crowded since he has lots of clients, but be patient, since when he comes to you, he will take good care of you. He is nice and honest, so that is why his staff is also warm and friendly. I remember the first time when I called the office for inquiries (since I don't know this dentist, he is the one my husband found on Yelp), the girl at the front desk, Jocelyn, answered me clearly, politely with a soft voice, without showing impatience or annoyance, though I called 3 times within 10 minutes before their closing. The office manager, Jose, is also very helpful and knowledgeable; so are Dr. Bui's two other assistants. I could have given 10 stars if possible, but since 5 reaches the limit in Yelp, the highest rating goes for my favorite dentist and his staff. My Boyfriend hates the dentist and has Procrastinated for so long on going to the dentist. On his way there, he called me complaining about how far it was from where we live and he didnt want to go. long story short; HE GOT THERE and told me HE lOOOOOOOVED IT; it was worth it; he was going back and i should go to! He said the doctor was awesome and gentle. He didnt feel anytthing except the first pinch to numb his mouth; but it didnt even hurt. My boyfriend kept texting me how much he liked the dentist. The best part is; aside from Dr. Bui being gentle and his visit being PAIN FREE: he got his ROOT CANAL done the same visit. There was none of that "come back in 2 weeks, for cleaning, come back for root canal, etc etc." i recommend him . read more

Dr.Bui's office is located in the same shopping center where I work and I first chose his office just out of convenience. After seeing him the last two times, I know that even if I move away, I will still come back to see him. He is, by far, the best dentist I've ever been to. Hes super gentle, pays attention to detail, cares about his patients and I know I'll never be in pain in his care. He has a great bedside manner and his staff is super friendly. Appt reminders arrive via text so it makes it super convenient too. All in all, I have a great experience every time I visit and I highly recommend seeing him.
