I'm local to Ascension parish and have always been told that Daily Donut provides great service and great donuts. As I don't get donuts very often, I'm just now giving them a try. Very convenient drive through window so you don't even have to get out of your car. The lady at the window was super sweet and service was good. I got a dozen mixed donuts and some donut holes. Donuts weren't warm but you could tell they were freshly made. They weren't greasy and were larger than what I've seen at other local donut shops. The donut holes were on point too! Daily donut is a quaint little shop tucked on airline Hwy in Gonzales that serves up warm and fresh donuts and pastries daily with a side of always friendly service! I have patronized this establishment countless times and I've always been very satisfied by their product and service. They offer a drive thru option which can be very convenient on a busy or rainy morning! They are priced comparably with other donut shops in the area but I think their donuts are better, a little crisp from the glaze but pillow soft in the inside! Not too sweet like some national donut shops! And their donut holes are delicious little bites that mimic the same, crisp outside and soft interior! I love the king cakes here!! Will wait all year and will gladly pass up the more "coffee cake" style king cakes in New Orleans to indulge in this perfectly fried giant doughnut of a king cake...also has special "twinkie" frosting that does not harden if you can't manage to finish the cake all in one sitting. Best donuts in this state that we have had, out doing krispy kreme and dunkin. They have a drive thru for your convenience and the workers here are super nice. My kids love them so much I have to tell them no more times than I like to. We are limited to maybe once a month bc of all this yummy sugary goodness. The glaze are rich and hot and fresh throughout the morning. Better get there before 11am bc they run out all the donuts in the case daily and to keep them fresh, they don't over stock. read more

I love love love the doughnuts. They are always fresh and delicious. And the staff is extremely friendly. On one visit I called to inquire about their closing time (which happened to be right then) and she asked what I wanted and they stayed open until I picked up my order. I love that kind of service.
