Best donuts around! Been going for years . Cannot beat their delicious apple fritters .

The price on the drive through display board doesn't match the online prices. I bought six glazed donuts and three kolaches over $35 dollars!!! After I got home, I looked the prices up online and I was OVERCHARGED roughly $15 dollars! The glazed donuts were hot and fresh but the kolaches were cold and tiny. In the past when I questioned the pricing, Sam's staffing told me the prices on the drive through display have not been updated. read more

Original glaze (served hot) is where it's AT ~ but all the other stuff is really good too! the blueberry cake - fluffy and light but still has that classic cake texture Kalachi (pig in a blanket)- they have both smoked cheese and smoked cheese+jalapeno, I like the latter. Hand rolled Ham and cheese croissant - yep I'm a sucker for savory stuff. They use uncured ham (no nitrites), which is really great Other stuff we tried that was all solid - apple fritter, chocolate sprinkle, custard filled with Workers are all really friendly and seem like they enjoy working there. Family owned business, all donuts made by hand daily. Some tables to sit and eat in, or you can order at counter or drive through. If they could just stay consistent with cooking the glazed donuts dark the way Sam used to. It's a hit or miss. Disappointed

However , last weekend I wanted some donuts and I remembered this place and they have not changed the donuts are soooo good! Not to thick and bready and not to thin either. I used the GPS/map with location provided by yelp and it was off by a couple miles. The donuts are ok. The regular glazed donuts were warm. The chocolate and the bacon donut was room temp. I would not say these are the best in Louisiana. The menu is good. They are an alright donut shop. I wouldn't travel and extra mile for these but if they are near by and you want a donut then by all means get one here. I do like that they have a drive thru(no need to change out of your pj's to get breakfast). read more

Not a place that I would enter again. Stopped in for a PoBoy and was told that it would be "Not more than 5 minutes". With that, I ordered and payed for two shrimp PoBoys. They were finally brought out 45 minutes later. Not only 40 minutes late but they were cold!!! Stay away if you want good food served on time. read more
