My family was on a road trip home to Indiana and we stopped here for lunch! It is a little off the beaten path, but once we realized it was apart of a gas station we had no trouble finding it. The food was incredible, we ordered butter chicken, lots of naan, chicken tiki masala, and shrimp fried rice. We all throughly enjoyed the meal, and were given large portion sizes. It was all hot and fresh and hit the spot! The staff were friendly and accommodating to our party of 5 and helped make sure we were comfortable and had space!

The food here is DELICIOUS. The building is old and the dining room is very dated and strange. Highly recommend just getting it as take out- the food is worth the weirdness of the gas station they are serving it out of.

Amazing food! The creamy butter chicken masala and the crisp naans transport you to a different dimension of tastiness. The prices are cheap and definitely worth it! I will visit again!!!!

    Tandoori chicken, samosas

Ended up eating both lunch and dinner here today. I'm a sucker for simosas, got the tandoori chicken for dinner and wow it was good. There is definitely a language barrier, but overall you're patience will be rewarded. Will be eyeing this joint anytime I'm in this area of Ohio

Okra Masala and the house bread, both delicious

That's me. So I checked the menu about 20 times before meeting my girl for lunch. Decided on the mixed grill. Asked the server for suggestions. All she suggested was the curries. Asked about apps and if any bread/naan comes with meal. Nope she says. No help on the apps. I ordered pakoras and got garlic naan since she says no. So she brings something I assume was the garlic naan. Found out it regular naan that comes before the meal. The pakoras tasted like air. No flavor whatsoever. Got my mixed grill. It couldn't have been cooked that day. It was so dry and my medium spicy sauce had less spice than bbq. Tasted my girls chicken curry(mild spicy) and it tasted the same as mine. How does that happen? I tried a few bites with some rice n Im done. Took it home for the man and he took a few nibbles n threw it out except the naan. I didn't taste the naan because I thought that's what came out first. Ugh. Either I needed a different server or a different Indian place. I would totally go back n try something else. With some guidance. There's several other Indian spots in town which are a little more $$ but I think I will try one of those

So, starving, we went here super last minute, and they were super accommodating even though they were packed! The man at the door took our order fast and got us a seat once someone left. While we waited for a seat, we checked out the picture books of India, which kept us entertained and set a vibe. The food was incredible, too! I love peshwari naan and find it difficult to find sometimes, so I'm so glad they had it and as for the rest of the meal, we had the aloo gobi masala, and vegetarian platter, and all I can say is YUM! Would recommend for the service and food alone, but the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy and made our dining experience really nice, too.

First, I'm shocked that an Indian restaurant is in Williams county. Second surprise is it's good! This is my first visit, so I only tried the chicken curry. So that gives you an idea of the inside, they have a mini-store with some Indian snacks, which are cool. The people there were very nice and accommodating. Each member of my family got something different and it was all banging good. No questions on this. I had the lamb korma and it was tasty and tender. Don't let him talk you off your normal spice though, he said they are hotter than other restaurants but they are not. My only real knock is the price. For north west Ohio they are expensive. AND, unbeknownst to us the rice was an extra charge beyond your dish.... Uh, what else I gonna eat with it bra! In any case, if you like Indian food, but don't mind a little expensiveness, you need to try this place.

A place where you can have Indian food is great! It also does have more American food in the menu, for those who do not or have family who want to stick with what they know. My family has eaten a few times from here, taking carry out each time. Ordering is convenient as they both have a website and you can call in. The food is absolutely delicious! My family has eaten the following items: 1) Chicken Tika-Masala: Savory and spicy dish... has the right amount of kick to it: We love it! 2) Chicken Pakora: my personal favorite dish, its an appetizer. It is so good! It's salty, it's crunchy! Yum! 4) Butter Chicken: Families favorite dish. The delicious taste will melt you like butter under a. hot sun. 5) the rice and naan bread are very good. 6) Gulab Jamun. This dessert has just the right amount of sweet components! We should have bought more but will the next time! I could go on, this place is great! And we are very lucky to have this place open up! Highly recommend if you live in Van Wert! It appears that the recipes are a little different now. I ordered chicken korma, very spicy, and it was just OK. The chicken chunks are a lot bigger now. Bigger chunks take more time to cook, making the chicken very dry. The veggies and sauce are also different. The dish was more mild than spicy. I remember a lot of Chinese restaurants doing this. I guess the chefs are trying to protect us from ourselves... My dining partners ordered chicken tikka masala and had the same comments. One other person ordered the mixed grill (tandoori grill???) and again, everything was really overcooked and dry. There was no wine or beer available. We asked if we could bring in either and were told, "no." They were very polite about it, but this is not illegal in Ohio, at least, the attorney we were dining with said it was perfectly legal to do this. I know I've dined in establishments where there was no liquor, beer or wine available and patrons were allowed to bring in their own. Casa Que Pasa in Athens, Ohio, comes to mind, but that was a loooooong time ago and, for some reason, my memories of meals there are kind of foggy anyway :). The restaurant does have the right to charge a "corkage fee" if they desire. Anyway, not sure wine would be my preference for Indian food, but beer!!! Nothing goes better with hot, spicy food than a beer that's indigenous to that country (Taj Mahal or Kingfisher!!!). Of course, the kitchen needs to get the spice lever right. For an appetizer, we did order some vegetable pakoras and they were really great. I believe we also ordered some onion kulcha too and that was great. Anyway, not the worst I've had, but not what was being offered at the Airport location. The place is young and there are probably some things to work out. I'll definitely try this again.
